What impressed us most was how effortlessly everything flowed, from the very beginning to the final clean up. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but they made the entire process feel smooth, organized, and reduced our stress as much as possible! We had met with other wedding planners prior to meeting them, but as soon as we met with Kat and Angela we knew they were the ones. Their calming, fun, jovial demeanor exuded through from our first chat!
Kat and Angela’s team brought our vision to life in a way that exceeded anything we could have imagined. They started by asking for our vision and made it into a reality. In our case, we asked for a celestial and tarot card themed backyard Tucson wedding and they transformed our backyard into an absolutely magical celestial wonderland, filled with beautiful fairy lights, gorgeous table designs, and an atmosphere that felt straight out of our dream wedding!
Kat and Angela were highly communicative throughout and listened to everything we were looking for in our wedding. They had the best recommendations for all our vendors as they have great experience with the Tucson community.
The attention to detail was immaculate. They somehow captured the essence of our love story and translated it into a celebration that was even more beautiful than we had originally envisioned.
We have not stopped getting compliments from our friends and family since our wedding day of how much they loved everything!
On the wedding day, we were able to be fully present and enjoy each moment because of how well they had planned and executed everything beautifully! Angela handled all of the wedding day setup and managed all of the wedding day steps herself to perfection!

She created custom menus and signage that matched our aesthetic perfectly — every detail was thoughtfully designed and executed. She also generously allowed us to use her wide selection of beautiful decor, which not only saved us time and money but helped create a cohesive and stunning atmosphere throughout our venue.
She was incredibly helpful during meetings with our venue, asking the right questions and advocating for our needs in ways we hadn’t even considered. And throughout the planning process, she was always accessible — answering my random questions quickly and with kindness, no matter how small the detail.
On the day of the wedding, everything ran flawlessly thanks to her. I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew she had it all handled. Her calm, positive presence made the day even more enjoyable.

Kat’s attention to detail is unmatched. The entire day flowed so smoothly and felt completely stress free because she was always one step ahead making sure everything was perfect. We also chose her decor package, and I genuinely cannot express how beautiful everything turned out. She completely brought my decor dreams to life, and every detail felt so intentional and stunning. Her signage was also absolutely perfect and exactly what I had envisioned.
One thing we will forever be grateful for is how much she went above and beyond for us. Since we did not hire a videographer, Kat created the cutest TikTok for us and even had her assistant record parts of our ceremony and reception; memories we will cherish forever. That level of care and thoughtfulness meant so much to us.

She had an amazing inventory of items that helped us so much and made our wedding so stunning. She was present at our rehearsal with everything we needed to get through it quickly and seamlessly even with our large wedding party. She also had contact with all of our vendors so we didn’t have to worry about anything the week of the wedding. Her eye for design also added so much to our special day and stood out to both us and our guests. On our wedding day, Kat and her assistant, Angela were there for everything. They knew when and how to command the room and got things done, while at the same time keeping the energy calm and fun. They were on top of anything and everything.....one of MANY examples that exceeded our expectations is when I asked my mom for a water bottle, KGE had one and was drying it off for me before my mom could even comprehend what I asked her. The day went so smoothly and seriously all we had to do was show up and enjoy the day and they took care of the rest, even post wedding when I had a minor issue with a vendor, Kat jumped in right away to resolve it so we could enjoy our honeymoon :)

d her team. Within 2 days she had sent me caterers who were willing and available on such short notice, and by the 3rd day we had our menu set and ordered. Our food the day of was delicious!
I sent her some vision photos for decor and flowers, and that's all it took for her to bring what I wanted to life. Trust her and the process. Her creativity and knowledge are unmatched in the wedding industry. I gave her two possible bouquet pics, and the bouquet she made me was hands down the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen. Before my wedding day, she sent everyone a wedding day timeline that kept us all on track and made sure no to do or wedding day moment was missed. My job was to relax, while Kat's team decorated and Kat took care of everything. My intimate wedding decor looked straight out of a wedding magazine.
She took care of the ceremony logistics and reception logistics, so I had the wedding of my dreams without an ounce of worry, and she did this with TWO WEEKS NOTICE.
You have to have a wedding planner, and if you want the VERY BEST in the business, you MUST HIRE KAT GAINES EVENTS!!!! Thank you Kat, Jessie and Victoria.

al, nice, warm and friendly and just a joy to work with. She helped make the planning process so much easier and helped relieve a lot of stress I had as the bride on a budget. We booked for day of coordination and Kat even met with me a few times over the course of booking her and our wedding that was on 7/8/23 and she even made sure to come to all meeting with the vendors and she worked really hard to help capture my vision and put it on paper and then later made it happen in real life. For day of coordination we worked with Victoria and Jasmine and the girls did great! I was so please both of them made sure everything was running smoothly and got everything set up and ready without me having to lift a finger! At one point I was getting a little stressed out about pictures and Victoria talked with me asked what I wanted and talked to my photographer and got everything adjusted for me. That in itself just made me happy that Victoria was able to do that. With both of them I did not have a single worry and it was wonderful. Both my husband and I really got to enjoy the day and I think the best choice we made was working with Kat and her team. They did a spectacular job and I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

She has great knowledge of the wedding world and also of the STL area, which was a huge help with finding and selecting our vendors as well our routes for transportation for ourselves and our guests. She comes prepared with her knowledge and experience as well as with her stock of decor which helped us to get the perfect set up for both our ceremony and reception. It was such a relief to not have to worry about anything but enjoying our special day and knowing Kat had everything under control for us. We can’t say enough how much of a pleasure it has been working with her!

your wedding truly the day of your dreams! From the very first time I talked to her (when she called me exactly on the hour at our scheduled time), I knew she was going to be indispensable. She met with me and my now-husband to discuss our reception decor, and within minutes, she had a design concept in mind. She made that concept a reality and created an incredibly detailed proposal that included ceremony and reception decor, as well as floral design inspiration. She coordinated with all our vendors, and she put us in touch with the florist that we eventually hired. On the day of our wedding, she made the day completely stress-free for us, our family, our wedding party, and our guests, and she and her team ran everything according to her meticulously prepared timeline. If I could give her ten stars, I would!!

Throughout the wedding process, Kat sent me vendors that narrowed my search and was there to answer any specific questions that I had. I honestly don’t know how I would have ever planned a wedding without her! Also, depending on the package you get, you are able to use all of Kat’s decor. This was HUGE for me. at. We ended up having to postpone the wedding a whole year because of COVID. She helped with all the vendors during that time and found a new caterer two months before the wedding after COVID issues with the original caterer. She even personally built a prop that we had seen and really liked. The day of the wedding I was able to spend the entire day with the wedding party. I did not step foot once in the reception hall until the actual dinner and it was beautiful. It was so nice and reassuring to know that I had no worries and stress on my daughter's wedding day and could just enjoy it. Kat literally took care of everything.
