When my daughter told me she was going to hire a “day of” wedding planner I thought what a great idea. Well, it was so much more than just a great idea! Kat and her assistant, Angela, were absolutely worth their weight in gold! I was able to enjoy every aspect of my daughter’s wedding day without worrying about anything. KGE helped make sure every single detail was taken care of and executed to perfection! I highly recommend using KGE to make your hopes and dreams a reality! KGE helped execute our wedding vision to perfection and went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. From the very beginning of the planning process, Kat was there to answer any questions and offer guidance. She is super knowledgeable in the wedding industry and had worked with several of our wedding vendors before which helped make the planning process so much easier for us! She made sure to do multiple check-ins leading up to the wedding day via phone calls, texts & in person meetings to ensure our day would be as perfect as possible...and it was! Our wedding day/night was easily the best day of our lives and a huge reason behind that is because we hired KGE for day of coordination! On our wedding day, Kat and her assistant, Angela were there for everything. They knew when and how to command the room and got things done, while at the same time keeping the energy calm and fun. They were on top of anything and everything.....one of MANY examples that exceeded our expectations is when I asked my mom for a water bottle, KGE had one and was drying it off for me before my mom could even comprehend what I asked her. The day went so smoothly and seriously all we had to do was show up and enjoy the day and they took care of the rest, even post wedding when I had a minor issue with a vendor, Kat jumped in right away to resolve it so we could enjoy our honeymoon :) I am so happy we decided to work with KGE and would recommend her to anyone looking for wedding coordination and planning services!

Kat was the MVP of our wedding day. I cannot say enough nice things about her and I couldn’t be happier we used her services for our special day. Her services and knowledge are worth their weight in gold. The planning process was seamless, she answered any and all questions we had, and made the process stress free. She is professional and passionate about what she does and you can tell her years of experience pay off. Day of, I never had to freak out about anything because I know Kat and Victoria had it handled. All we had to do was show up and just enjoy the day and for that I cannot thank her enough. Kat did an excellent job for our wedding. Her vendor recommendations were great and the day itself couldn't have gone better. Everything went so smoothly and we had no issues at all! Kat did a great job for day of coordinating and decorating! I did all the planning but wanted my wedding day to be free of stress and constant q&a. I did not get asked any coordination type questions the day of my wedding because Kat was there to handle any and all questions so I was able to truly enjoy my wedding day! She was also always available for texting and a few in person meetings throughout the planning process. I had one vendor close their store late into the planning process and Kat was able to go the extra mile and send me other recommendations to pick an alternative.

My husband and I got married in October 2022, and Kat was an absolute LIFESAVER. I did most of the decor planning & vendor decisions myself, but having Kat as a day-of coordinator really made my wedding day possible. She worked with all of our vendors to stick to the timeline that made everything go off without a hitch, made sure our decor was all where it needed to be, made sure our wedding party was where it needed to be on time, and honestly made all of our stress and planning for two years worth it.

Kat was great to work with! By far the best money we spent on our wedding. Kat made sure to make sure every detailed was covered and did so beautifully. On the day of the wedding it was so nice to be able to enjoy the day and know that Kat was available anytime we needed. She guided us through the entire day and made sure that my husband and I had a few minutes to ourselves after the ceremony. I would recommend Kat Gaines and her team to any bride who is needing help wedding planning or even just a day of coordinator. Her team did a fantastic job. Kat was very professional, nice, warm and friendly and just a joy to work with. She helped make the planning process so much easier and helped relieve a lot of stress I had as the bride on a budget. We booked for day of coordination and Kat even met with me a few times over the course of booking her and our wedding that was on 7/8/23 and she even made sure to come to all meeting with the vendors and she worked really hard to help capture my vision and put it on paper and then later made it happen in real life. For day of coordination we worked with Victoria and Jasmine and the girls did great! I was so please both of them made sure everything was running smoothly and got everything set up and ready without me having to lift a finger! At one point I was getting a little stressed out about pictures and Victoria talked with me asked what I wanted and talked to my photographer and got everything adjusted for me. That in itself just made me happy that Victoria was able to do that. With both of them I did not have a single worry and it was wonderful. Both my husband and I really got to enjoy the day and I think the best choice we made was working with Kat and her team. They did a spectacular job and I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

You need Kat for your wedding. She was a pleasure to work with. As an anxious person I needed someone who was calm and relaxed during the wedding process. The first time you talk to her all your worries float away. She is an expert at her craft. She will handle the details and keep you on track through the whole process and the day of. She will save you so much money especially if you opt to use her decor inventory and her eye for design is impeccable! My groom and I truly have no idea how we would’ve done it without Kat and her team. She will be the greatest investment you can make for your wedding (and your sanity).

My daughter hired Kat for partial wedding planning. She had great recommendations for vendors, great ideas to help with reception decorations and was very calm and composed the day of the wedding which kept all of us calm!! She has lots of wedding planning experience and it shows. Great personality!

Kat was delightful. I genuinely feel like she cared about us and our wedding. We weren't just a wedding for her. She's good at what she does and has succeeded to put on a ton of beautiful weddings, making her confident and knowledgable. I hired her as a day-of-coordinator but she went above and beyond just that. She met with me multiple times during the planning process, gave me tips and suggestions, and even gave us access to her VAST decor inventory. There were times I wished for more consistent contact when my anxiety and stress were getting the best of me, but in truth, her composure and previously mentioned confidence brought me calm in the craziness. If you want a partner to help make your day a dream, Kat has your back, no doubt.

Kat was AMAZING to work with! She kept me organized and truly brought my vision to life! I cannot imagine what planning my wedding would have been like without her. The first thing my parents said the next day was that "Kat was worth every single penny!" She not only helped me out leading up to the event but a true life saver setting up and tearing down.

The first vendor I hired was Kat, and I have no regrets about my decision. Kat is professional, funny, kind and great at what she does. Even though I wouldn’t say I was the type of bride that had everything perfectly envisioned for my wedding day, Kat helped me fill in all the gaps. From amazing vendor recommendations, to assistance with day-of details and access to a full decor inventory, Kat did not disappoint. We truly would not have been able to have the day we had without her, and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

For one I just need to let all couples know if you're on the fence about a coordinator, DO IT!!! I don't even know where to start Kat was absolutely amazing. I had contacted her about a year before my wedding but at the time we didn't think we needed a planner so we didn't book but as the day got closer I got more and more nervous and knew I needed at least a day of coordinator and I got SO LUCKY that Kat was still available. She didn't even hesitate she jumped right in and caught up with everything about 3 months out from the wedding and helped bring all those little details that matter together. My day was absolutely perfect and I know that wouldn't have happened without Kat so I just cannot thank her enough and am just so grateful to have had someone like her with me on wedding day because she was ready for any and everything and any need I had was taken care of. Kat is amazing!! We had such a great experience with her over the course of planning our wedding day to the actual day itself and beyond. She is not only very easy to work with, she’s very professional and also very personable and relatable. She has great knowledge of the wedding world and also of the STL area, which was a huge help with finding and selecting our vendors as well our routes for transportation for ourselves and our guests. She comes prepared with her knowledge and experience as well as with her stock of decor which helped us to get the perfect set up for both our ceremony and reception. It was such a relief to not have to worry about anything but enjoying our special day and knowing Kat had everything under control for us. We can’t say enough how much of a pleasure it has been working with her!

Kat is an ABSOLUTE BOSS!!! I would recommend Kat to anyone that is even remotely considering a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. She will exceed all your expectations and make your wedding truly the day of your dreams! From the very first time I talked to her (when she called me exactly on the hour at our scheduled time), I knew she was going to be indispensable. She met with me and my now-husband to discuss our reception decor, and within minutes, she had a design concept in mind. She made that concept a reality and created an incredibly detailed proposal that included ceremony and reception decor, as well as floral design inspiration. She coordinated with all our vendors, and she put us in touch with the florist that we eventually hired. On the day of our wedding, she made the day completely stress-free for us, our family, our wedding party, and our guests, and she and her team ran everything according to her meticulously prepared timeline. If I could give her ten stars, I would!!

Kat became a friend through the wedding process! We hired Kat mainly so that the day of, my parents didn’t have to do anything, and we got this and much more! The day of the wedding was completely seamless and Kat took care of everything. My parents didn’t have to do a thing! Throughout the wedding process, Kat sent me vendors that narrowed my search and was there to answer any specific questions that I had. I honestly don’t know how I would have ever planned a wedding without her! Also, depending on the package you get, you are able to use all of Kat’s decor. This was HUGE for me. I didn’t want to spend money on decor only to have to get rid of it immediately after. My wedding was quite big, and she handled all the questions and the concerns. She was always there to decrease my anxieties and help me with little details. I’m thankful for Kat and her friendship!

Kat did our wedding this past fall, and she was amazing! She was able to help us plan and finalize every last detail, and the entire day went absolutely perfectly thanks to her!

Kat is a woman of MANY talents, but I think her best superpower is her compassion for others. We lost a loved one right before the wedding and that's when Kat took our hands and looked at us in our eyes and told us she would take care of everything. Yeah, well let me tell ya- she did everything.....and so much more. I really can't put into words just how grateful I am for Kat- She took the reigns like a BOSS all while becoming such a dear, genuine friend along the way. We have a few trial and Errors in last 2 years with wedding planners, I was about to give up when I came across Kat Gaines. She took our wedding without hesitation. I can't recommend Kat enough. As the mother of the bride I thought I could help plan my daughter's wedding long distance. Half-way through I figured out how wrong I was and found Kat. We ended up having to postpone the wedding a whole year because of COVID. She helped with all the vendors during that time and found a new caterer two months before the wedding after COVID issues with the original caterer. She even personally built a prop that we had seen and really liked. The day of the wedding I was able to spend the entire day with the wedding party. I did not step foot once in the reception hall until the actual dinner and it was beautiful. It was so nice and reassuring to know that I had no worries and stress on my daughter's wedding day and could just enjoy it. Kat literally took care of everything.

Kat Gaines is a brides right hand woman. Kat’s love for her profession and her brides emulates through her work. I can tell you with 100% honesty that I had zero stress about my wedding. She handled every little detail. I only had a theme for my wedding and had no idea how to execute it. Kat took my theme and manifested it into the most beautiful wedding. Better than anything I could have ever imagined. She is so easy to talk to, and actively listens to her brides and what their visions are for their day. Kat is amazing. She worked with us across multiple oceans and many many time zones over 2 years and she helped make our day wonderful! Everyone at our wedding commented on how the little woman running around was great and really looked like she knew what she was doing (because she does!). Kat did everything we expected and more. Kat was so amazing to work with. I hired her for my wedding planning and design in August 2019 when COVID was nowhere in sight and she helped me bring my vision to life and plan every detail. Fast forward to COVID, we completely moved my entire wedding reception 5 weeks prior to my wedding. She was so incredible with getting everything figured out and keeping the stress off me. She transformed my parents yard into the literal wedding of my dreams. Every detail was beyond perfect and she made the day completely stress free for me. I met with Kat preCovid as my wedding was originally planned for May 2020. She supported me through planning my May wedding, then replanning my October wedding. She helped me think through all my tough decisions with sound advice and thoughtful suggestions. My October wedding went off without a hitch. She thought of everything and I didn't have to worry about anything because she solving my problems before I knew I had one. She is very available by phone, email, text and responds quickly. If you're looking for a wedding planner/coordinator who will help you make your dream wedding into reality - Kat is it. I would recommend her to everyone planning their event, she is an expert in her field. 5/5 stars definitely!

I’ll be really honest, I did not want a wedding planner. I had most of my vendors already hired when I met with Kat. I needed a caterer, florist, and cake. Not too bad right? Wrong. She knew exactly the types of flowers I wanted (what they were called and the season they were in) plus all the things I needed and didn’t think about like isle swags, cake decor, corsages, and boutonnières and how much of everything I needed for my event space. 2020 weddings are hard and she walked me through a completely new date. I wanted simple and easy. Here is the best part I didn’t have to put together or buy a single decoration. NOT ONE. She set everything up- table linens, flowers, head table, seating chart, all the decorations were hers and she has so much! She made a personalized bar sign for our signature drinks. The wedding ran smooth and so did the reception! Also she cleaned everything up before she left. The only thing I had to do the next morning was come pick up my leftover food and drinks from the venue! She offers all kinds of packages to fit your needs wherever you are in the planning process. Get a meeting set up ASAP.

Kat was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable! She was the first person we hired and she helped us find our vendors and our dream wedding venue. Kat went to our meetings with our vendors which helped so much because we didn't know what we were doing but she has a lot of experience. We were able to borrow a lot of things from her like chargers, easels, etc which saved us time and money. A month before the wedding we were faced with the possibility of having to postpone due to covid and she assured us that if we did decide to postpone that we wouldn't be starting over and that she would be there to help us. We decided not to postpone but it was honestly the perfect wedding! Kat is an experienced, supportive, and down to earth coordinator who I would definitely recommend especially during our current uncertain times.

Kat is seriously the best! I cannot say enough good things about her. Kat was one of the first decisions we made for our wedding and I’m so happy we did. We were engaged for a little over 2 years and Kat worked with us for most of it. We were initially not planning on hiring a wedding coordinator to help save some money, but we thought we would at least meet with a few people to see what they offered. Once we met Kat though, she blew everyone else out of the park and we knew right then we needed her. Not only was she affordable, but she was so knowledgeable about all things wedding related. She answered any questions we had (and there were a lot) and made our entire planning process literally stress-free. You can tell Kat truly loves what she does. She’s so on top of everything. I swear she was always 3 steps ahead of us when it came to getting things done! She’s professional, punctual, and truly the best at what she does. And to top it all off, she’s got such a great personality. She’s fun and so easy to talk to. My husband and I are actually sad we won’t be seeing her anymore. Our favorite wedding-related activity was meeting with Kat! If there’s anything you do right during your wedding planning process, it will be hiring Kat. I promise you won’t be disappointed in the least. She will go beyond even your highest expectations. HIRE HER!!!!

We have LOVED working with Kat! We had spoken to a few other wedding coordinators, but once we met with Kat she made us feel the most confident in her knowledge and abilities! She helped us plan our cute and small family-only outdoor wedding in just 2 WEEKS after we had decided to postpone our big wedding day from May 8th to a later date due to COVID-19. We had originally hired her for our day-of wedding coordinator, but she honestly has been so helpful throughout our entire process and has truly gone above and beyond. Kat’s amazing! We knew she was a perfect match for us after our first meeting..we cancelled our other interviews right away. She helped us every step of the way - from providing vendor recommendations, coordinating meetings and creating the entire timeline. Planning a wedding with her stress free! Days leading up to our wedding was extremely hectic because of the Coronavirus. Kat kept us calm throughout the constant changes and was so helpful. If anything went wrong the day of the wedding, I’d have no idea because to me it was perfect. Kat is absolutely amazing! She did our flowers, decor and all event planning. We were engaged for almost 2 years. Kat was there from the very beginning and I am SO glad we hired her from the start. The best gift I got for my wedding was when someone recommended Kat Gaines and her team to me. She took care of EVERYTHING for my wedding. Even if you aren't considering a wedding planner, you need to hire Kat! I searched through over 75 wedding planners and coordinators, reached out to 25, and only met with 2. I met with the first, and they offered discounts with other vendors left and right. I was excited to get a deal, but wanted to see what others had to offer and compare. I met with Kat next, and instantly felt she was the planner for us. I even cancelled my next appointment! She was honest, straight forward, and I could tell she meant business and really cared about her client's needs. My biggest issue with other vendors was communication, and Kat bridged those gaps while remaining professional, and effectively communicated to get the job done while keeping all parties happy. Her package pricing was more than reasonable and worked with us based on our budget and needs. We chose the package that included decorations, and left the design up to her. The look on my face when we opened the doors to our decorations for a sneak peek said it all. I put complete faith in her, and she went above and beyond my expectations! Everything was beautiful, and so much more than I could have ever imagined. Not only did she take all of the stress off of us throughout the process and our entire family and wedding party the day of, Kat helped us save T H O U S A N D S!! I couldn't have imagined our wedding without her, it was absolutely perfect! I have several friends using her for their weddings after seeing ours go off without a hitch. I started the process searching for a planner, and came out with a friend. Besides getting married, hiring Kat will be the best decision you will ever make throughout the wedding planning process (possibly in life haha). You won't regret it!

Kat was the BEST day of wedding planner! She brought our special day to full fruition and made it better than we could have dreamed of! She kept me calm and always had a timely plan throughout the day— even when my husband (the groom) discovered he left his pants in California when getting dressed the day of the wedding! I cannot rave enough about Kat - she is a BOSS! Having her as my day-of planner was the best decision I made (besides marrying my husband of course), she is absolutely amazing. We really weren’t aware how much we needed a day-of planner until very close to our wedding and Kat was luckily available to lend her magic to our day. She quickly got caught up on all of our details and picked up the mountain decor I had. She managed all the vendor setup, our decor setup, and any of the change ups that happened that day I was blissfully unaware of because she and her team took care of it all. The devil works, but Kat Gaines works harder. I had no idea what I was doing when it came to planning our wedding, but Kat stepped in and like a superhero carried the entire wedding on her back. Everything I asked for she did, and she did it fast. Plus, she's super easy to be around. I was sad when the wedding was over because I wanted to hang out with Kat some more.

I do not have enough positive words to describe my experience with Kat and her team! From our first meeting to the day of, she made everything so easy and stress free. I only wish I had hired her for the entire planning process and not just as a day of coordinator! Kat is VERY knowledgeable of the entire wedding industry/process and was able to handle any situation that came up (I was not aware of any of them the day of because she simply handled them quietly) . Because of her hard work, my fiancé and I, our families, and guests were all able to just enjoy the day and be in the moment. Kat was great to work with throughout our Wedding planning process. I only wished we had hired her sooner in our planning! She was great to bounce ideas off of during our planning, provide vendor recommendations and assisted with vendor questions and concerns we had during our planning. On the Day Of, Kat made this an easy, smooth, carefree day for not only me and my husband but all of our family members. She set everything up, coordinated with our vendors, took care of any hiccups (I don’t even know if there were any bc she just handled and no one came to me with any issues), and took care of taking everything down so my family friends and I could enjoy our after party! She was great to work with and has a very calm presence which every bride needs— she will make your day stress free and allow you to be in the moment which is what matters most!
