of high ceilings at the venue. Kat and Mr. Burns said they would visit our venue to make sure they'd bring everything they need. Kat called about a month before our wedding to say that she was ill and that a replacement photographer may be used. A couple weeks before the wedding Kat asked for our shot list again. We sent the list to her from our coordinator. The replacement photographer, Mr. Burns, and an assistant arrived late to the wedding. They had not visited the venue, brought our shot list, or brought enough lighting. Beyond being unprepared and late, the technical quality of the photographs are horrible: -Framing and composition for the portraits is laughably bad -Background items were left in the frame or are coming out of people's heads -The color temperature was set incorrectly, so everything and everyone is a pale yellow -They didn't shoot in RAW, so the color could not be corrected in edit -They missed several important requestes portraits because they forgot our list -They didn't bring enough lighting despite our previous conversation Out of the thousands of pictures they took, we only gave three or four to family/friends. When we pointed out how bad the portraits were, Kat agreed and offered to edit more than contractually required. (We declined) She also sent us a couple prints because she took long to edit than expected.

onderful people! Looking back at this now I would change this to 1 star! We are almost 11 months past the end of the wedding and we still haven't gotten our wedding albums! We keep getting excuses, they were ordered wrong or the photos are being edited, or I'm working on them. This whole process is very frustrating! I want my albums!!!

a detailed timeline for the wedding day so that everything flowed seamlessly. On the wedding day, they were very laid back and so fun to work with, but you could also tell they were very professional and had a lot of experience photographing weddings. I'm so impressed with the quality of the pictures she sent to us to look through, even before edits. Very excited to see the final prints!

Her whole team had the whole wedding party feeling comfortable and made sure to get everyone's "good side". They made sure to listen to all my wants and needs and even helped me decided between the two when I had to. Kat was very easy to get in contact with and never left me waiting. Even with living out of town she did great with working with and around our schedule. We will be using Kat Hall photography again that is for sure! We started thinking we were just hiring a photographer, we ended up feeling like we gained a friend!

ng, I gave Kat two stipulations: 1) My family does NOT get along with one another and 2) The groom does NOT need to smile in our pictures, so don't pressure him. She didn't bat an eye and our pictures came out so natural. Not only were they professional, but they are HILARIOUS. Kat and Mr. Burns love to joke with their clients and each other. Such a great chemistry. As for the pictures, they came out beautifully. Crisp, clear photos and so many wonderful poses AND candids. With two photographers they got all of the goofy moments, the touching ones and the important ones. All in all, Kat Hall Photography is definitely a great choice. I ALMOST want to get divorced and remarried, just so I can hire them again. However I'm sure there is an easier way... Ten out of ten for Kat and Mr. Burns!

She has a partner take pictures as well so it was nice that they were able to get the guys getting ready as well as the girls. Having the two of them worked out really well! Kats partner was not present during our engagement photos but he was during the wedding photos. He was just as kind and engaging as she is. We wanted to capture every smile in a variety of ways on our wedding day and they came together to make that happen. ot all of that! Kat kept me relaxed and smiling in every picture, listened to all of our ideas (including marching straight out to the middle of a sunflower field) and had her own. When it was all said and done we had around 1,500 pictures. Out of those we had 100 edited, and had problems picking which to be edited as we didn't think they needed editing! She was everywhere the entire day, a couple times reminded us it would be a good time to sneak off here or there for what we had requested, and provided pictures of everyone and everything and lots in different angles too! If you want a professional photographer to perfectly document your wedding or any other special event, you NEED Kat Hall!

! They had a ton of suggestions for poses and also took into consideration poses that I had seen in other photographs and liked (and somehow remembered all of the ones I suggested!). They were upbeat and very fun to be around. The photos were shared with us insanely quickly (which was very exciting!) and there was an impressive number of them! My fiance and I are so excited to have Kat and Mr. Burns shoot our wedding. They have great energy and have a lot of knowledge about photography. The wedding package that we chose includes a photo-booth, which is very decently priced, that we will have so guests can have a photo for themselves but also one for a photo-memory book that they can sign and we can look back on for years! I would highly recommend Kat to my friends and family! Definitely check her out :-)

n time and very professional. They got great shots of everyone getting ready. The shots they took of the wedding and the reception were amazing also. I couldn't ask for anything more. I do recommend giving a shot list to whatever photographer you use so you make sure you get all of the shots you want because I did not and there were a few pictures I did not get but that was my fault. Kat's ideas for my pictures were amazing and if I had to do it again I would use them all over again!! Thank you for amazing pictures of my wedding day.
