Kate did the most amazing job taking engagement and wedding photos for our big day! She edits them so crisp and brightly and they're just beautiful! She is such a sweet, kind perso...
n and we absolutely loved working with her! We got so many compliments from friend and family at how well they turned out (: We highly recommend her!!
Hiring Kate was seriously one of the best choices we could've made for our wedding. From our very first meeting she was so professional, detail oriented, and interested in getting ...
to know us. First she shot our engagement photos, and she did such a great job of helping us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were blown away by how gorgeous the engagement photos were and we knew the wedding photos would be incredible as well. On the wedding day, we had a tight photography schedule involving multiple locations, but Kate and her husband Tony are total pros and kept everything running smoothly and on time!
Kate is also the most prepared person I've ever met in my entire life- she came to the rescue with a tide pen when I got an unexpected stain on my dress, she had bug spray when we were getting bitten by mosquitos at one of our photo locations, etc! She was always calm and collected, which was really helpful to have her as a calming presence on such a busy and exciting day.
We recently got our sneak peek photos back and we are just blown away. They are absolutely stunning and we can't wait to see the rest. Thank you so much Kate and Tony for making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable!
We recently had our wedding on May 6th and I couldn't wait another day to write a review because there are truly no words to capture how incredible Kate is. My husband and I knew r...
ight away that we wanted to work with Kate- From our engagement shoot photos to our wedding day sneak peaks, our experience working with Kate was remarkable!
She was truly the most valuable resource in wedding planning and never hesitated to answer the (many) questions that we sent her way (truly about everything - dress colors, photo locations, advice on vendors). Kate is not only an incredibly talented, amazing photographer, but she is also exactly the person you want by your side on your wedding day. She brings the best energy to the day & shares genuine excitement in the many special moments throughout. Her presence was calming, reassuring, positive, and energized. Her husband Tony, who is also her assistant ( how cool is that?!) is extremely talented and they are truly an amazing team.
I honestly cannot recommend Kate & her team enough -- we not only received absolutely stunning photos from her (seriously, there are no words emphasizing how much we love our photos and these were just the sneak peeks), but we also gained a friend in the process.
Much love,
The Covells

and expertise go beyond the photos as she was very professional and prepared for the day. She was also able to find new and unique photos opportunities on the fly at a venue that she had never been to. Her personality and fun attitude really made the entire experience enjoyable and stress free.

er. She was our first call once we found out the available dates at the venue. I couldn't imagine anyone else being our photographer! Kate does a great job making sure everyone feels comfortable and at ease. She is the sweetest person you will meet and her positive energy shines through and just puts everyone in a good mood! I love how well she is able to capture the day without making anyone feel awkward or out of place. My husband and I both always feel comfortable and at ease while she is behind the Camera. Her passion shines through in the photos and she truly captures every moment of the day. Kate is very professional, friendly and timely! I am so grateful to have been able to work with her for our wedding and I look forward to working with her and having her capture many more moments throughout our lives!

to take our wedding photos! With weddings, it can be hard to get everyone happy about taking SO many pictures, but Kate made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed. She was such a calming force on our wedding day, and took OUTSTANDING pictures. Kate is so wonderful at capturing all the emotions felt on a wedding day. We are so incredibly happy with how our photos turned out- we have such a hard time choosing which to print, hang up, and put into a wedding album! They are all so amazing. I recommend Kate to any and everyone I know, because she is just THAT amazing! Thank you for being so wonderful Kate!
Wonderful to work with! Personable, made things fun, really listened to what my daughter wanted, and reasonable. The pictures were amazing!!!

grapher before we even had a date set! Kate is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. She has such a bubbly and fun personality. She makes taking hundreds of photos a blast! She’s EXTREMELY talented! She directs you for every pose and makes it feel so natural. You don’t have to think about it at all, she’ll make sure that every photo is wonderful. We couldn’t be happier to have had her capture every moment of one of the best days of our lives. She made all of the “behind the scenes” moments of our wedding day a blast! We really can’t say enough good things about her.

So far Kate has only shot our engagement photos, but she is truly a joy to work with. Her authentic and fun personality allowed us to instantly feel comfortable in front of the camera. We are SO thrilled with our engagement pictures and are very excited to work with Kate again on our wedding day!

o my wedding. She is so sweet and down to earth. She was always easy to get in touch with and answer any and all questions we had throughout the planning. I was so worried my engagement session was going to be awkward and uncomfortable but Kate made us feel so at home. The same goes for the wedding day. She was so professional, yet so fun! She helped keep things running according to the schedule so I didn't have to worry about a thing. She took pictures of even the smallest details that I would never have thought of. Her photography style is exactly what I was looking for, some formal, some creative and some spontaneous. Our photos are a great mix of everything. If anyone is looking for a photographer who will not only provide amazing photos but also take away the stress and worry of the day and have fun with you, then you should definitely hire Kate. You will not be disappointed!

with. When you look back you'll remember your partner and your family and friends but you'll also remember the experiences you had with your photographer. We were blessed to fly Kate Wenzel Photography out for our wedding in San Francisco - she was thoughtful, fun and made sure that our day was truly special. Kate and Jeremy were fantastic, they worked through our day-of wedding schedule to make sure all shots were captured and half the time I didn't even know she was there which truly is the mark of an excellent photographer. Kate captured all of these moments that were so special to us. It was comforting to have her there and made the day go that much more smoothly, not to mention our photos are wonderful. I would highly recommend Kate Wenzel Photography for the professionalism, quality of photos, and their willingness to travel and coordinate. I hope to hire Kate Wenzel Photography with family photos and other events again in the future.
Kate was absolutely fantastic to work with. Being an out of state bride can be challenging and she kept in contact with me so much by the time our wedding came around I felt like I...
already knew her.
Other than marrying my husband the photos were one of the most important part of the day. Having these photos to look at from now and for the rest of our lives was very important to me. She captured the love, emotion, excitement, and joy that went into that day.
Everyone that has seen the pictures have raved about how breathtaking they are and I completely agree. When my mom got them printed she called me crying about how beautiful they were and she was happy we had the photos so she could see some moments she missed.
Kate was a pleasure to work with, genuine, and delivered pictures that I will look at fondly for the rest of my life!

andpa. Many photographers prioritize their own interests first. Kate makes sure you get the images you want (gorgeous images) and also makes sure you take time to savor the moment. She even gave my husband and I some alone time to reflect on the day. Best part is her packages are really reasonably priced. HIGHLY recommend!

It was a blast and I was so looking forward to working with her almost a year later at our wedding.
Our wedding day was beautiful, although windy. Kate captured our personalities and the beauty of our venue perfectly. Our time taking pictures flew by so quickly. We were so relaxed and comfortable with her. Our wedding party enjoyed working with her as well.
I will certainly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer, wedding or otherwise. I would certainly use her in the future if the need arises.
Can't say enough about how beautiful our pictures are!
She's also very professional, timely in answering e mails, and worth every penny for the amazing pics we are getting :)
