Good stuff first: our photos were absolutely INCREDIBLE. We have gotten tons of comments about the quality and people we know who are hosting events/weddings asked for her contact ...
info. Stunning photos, no awkward "gotcha shots" of people singing and dancing that seems so common among wedding photographers. The editing was great. She truly captured the joy and beauty of our wedding day. She was also laid back to work with the day of our wedding. The negative: it took 7 months to get our photos. I reached out weekly after 4 months to get updates, and we finally got our sneak peaks. Then, I had to keep up the regular requests for 3 more months to get the photos. I saw another review that said to get a delivery date written into the contract and would recommend that as well... or no full payment until all photos are received. Some kind of accountability is needed because the waiting was an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. If you go in knowing it could take the better part of a year for photos, I recommend her because she is incredibly talented. If you will want wedding photos sooner, you may want to consider another photographer.
MAKE SURE THERE IS A DATE OF DELIVERY IN YOUR CONTRACT. ON WEDDING WIRE SOMEONE DIDN'T GET THEIR PHOTOS FOR A YEAR. Our wedding was 11/11/22. I messaged her two months after the we...
dding to get an update on photos. She stated 5 months at the absolute latest. My husband and I were very sad and disappointed after not receiving any updates and still no photos by the "latest" day which was already too long.
I texted, emailed, and called her at exactly 5 months on April 11th. No response for over a week then we get an email saying she left he work phone at home and had a family emergency.
She went on to say she had several galleries going out in ten days and couldn't say exactly when ours would be delivered. I'm not sure if it meant in 10 days or later. She can never give a direct answer it seems. 10 days later no photos, no updates. We are almost at 6 months now. My husband and I joke that couples are probably divorced or widowed by the time they get their photos.
Other vendors have been asking to see photos since 1 month post wedding and they are in complete shock when I tell them we have not received them yet. If I could do it over I would definitely choose a different photographer. Many people told me that even 5 months was absolutely ridiculous. Here we are at nearly 6 months. Luckily we messaged her at 3 weeks and she sent over a sneak peak after we asked.
Either she takes on too much at a time or her time management simply sucks. If it is taking a year to deliver photos she needs to outsource or stop accepting new clients until she gets caught up.
Amazing talented photographer...her tone and richness in her photos...OMG. To die for. Personable, great communication, super sweet, lovely to work with! She brought out so much lo...
ve and happiness in our photos - she's a wizard! Affordable compared to other photographers in the area - book this girl!!
We are OBSESSED with Kate and her work. We knew we didn't want super-posey, traditional wedding photos b/c we're not those people, and after looking through Kate's stunning portfol...
io and meeting her in person, we knew we had to work with her!
We had a small, 16-person wedding and Kate was a seamless fit. By the end of the evening she was chatting with our guests (while still taking photos, of course) and giving everyone goodbye hugs. She made sure we got the shots we wanted and the shots we didn't even know we wanted. We love her photojournalistic style and the beautiful little moments she captured.
If you get the opportunity, work with her! You will be so glad you did. Thank you so much, Kate!
When I was looking for a wedding photographer I wanted someone who would capture those candid, real life moments. I wanted my wedding pictures to be able to tell the story of the b...
ig day. Kate caught my eye because of her journalistic style. She's awesome! She was a pleasure to work with and made me feel so comfortable. I absolutely LOVE my wedding photos! You can truly see the emotion come through in Kate's pictures. I feel like I'm reliving my wedding day when I go back through my photos. I'm so happy with her work and highly recommend her!
Kate was absolutely amazing. Not only are her photos gorgeous, but she made this camera-shy bride and groom feel like supermodels. We are so grateful that Kate was there to capture...
our day.
Kate was the best! I am not super comfortable in front of the camera and she gave great direction so I wasn't standing around awkwardly thinking what should I do with my arm etc......
It also was so nice having someone be a little bossy (in the good way) to round up everyone so group and family photos didn't take forever and we didn't miss any important ones.
I wasn't sure what to expect since we didn't meet in person until the rehearsal dinner (also highly recommend getting that shot if budget allows) but she was really funny and made us all feel at ease during pictures.
The pictures themselves are incredible, we have gotten so many compliments from our friends and family who saw them. I haven't ordered any prints yet so can't speak to the quality of them but the website looked great and was easy to navigate. It was a really good mix of candids/ journalistic shots that tell the story of the day and more posed/styled shots which friends/family always want to see.
Highly recommend! and her second shooter was a doll as well and even helped corral my wild dog so he didnt photobomb us and ruin my dress :)
Kate was our photographer for a big party we had the night before our wedding. The majority of our guests were from overseas, so we wanted to make sure we got to see as much of the...
m as possible outside of the wedding and to do that, my Mom spent a year making sure that the house that I grew up in looked amazing. We were hoping that Kate could capture a less formal, more natural set of photos with all of us and she did just that! Her images are absolutely stunning! She blended in and you can tell how comfortable she made everyone feel by the relaxed and natural vibe of all of the photos. She has given us some incredible pictures that we can share with our family and friends and she perfectly captured the feeling of love and togetherness that we were hoping would show through in the pictures. Kate was a recommendation from our wedding photographer who could not make the party the night before, but I am incredibly grateful that we got her- she added an element that we would not have had if we had used the same person throughout- she is creative, thoughtful and makes everyone look amazing. She has an outstanding eye for capturing detail, even detail that I had not flagged. You will not be disappointed if you go with Kate- she is a lovely person who takes incredible photos!
Kate's passion for photography truly shows through her work. She captures light and emotion so well. I searched online for hours, because photography was one of the most important ...
things to me and finding Kate was such a blessing. I would choose her a million times over again. Her work speaks for itself, just check out her website. We had the pleasure of working with her for our engagement and our wedding photos. We plan to use her in the future when we want to have photos of our children someday as well. Her style is so unique and exactly what we were looking for. Everyone has commented on our the quality and beauty of our photos always asking us "Wow, who took those?" She is a super laid back, fun, and kind person. Her personality just makes you feel comfortable at all times. She really rocks.

ed the moments and not just your typical wedding pictures. She is so sweet and a very calming force on the day of, which you want! I highly recommend. I haven't seen pictures that I like better than hers! :)
Kate was an absolute dream to work with. Our photos, both engagement and wedding, turned out to be some of the best photographs I've ever seen. Kate was completely game for my non-...
traditional engagement photos idea; she was content to traipse around Downtown Nashville, capturing us as we went, having as much fun as us. On the day of the wedding, she was so chill, completely vibing with our entire wedding party. She even handled me like a pro when I was having a bride anxiety meltdown and didn't want pictures taken (I'm so glad she insisted that I did). She was in the center of the action and was able to capture both the little details and emotions of that day. We've received endless compliments on our photos, and I'm so happy that Kate's work is what we have to remember our special day.
Kate was absolutely incredible for our special day. She was engaging and immediately went to work capturing beautiful moments. Her gift of photography is truly artistic, and she ...

d for a large regional lifestyle magazine for 10 years, so I knew how important the photography was, and what I wanted in a photographer. Kate exceeded all of my expectations, and I am so incredibly thrilled with my photos! I would hire her again in a minute. She knew exactly what to do, and thought outside of the box. I appreciate details like that. I never felt like I had to direct her during the wedding or reception, and she got some really incredible shots. I would recommend her to anyone!
There are so many wedding photographers out there right now, but few have the unique, artistic style that Kate Anthony has behind the camera. Kate is also so much fun to be around ...
and she made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and throughout our whole wedding day. She's super cool, totally professional, and so incredibly talented. The photos we got from Kate were more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. Kate Anthony was the best wedding investment we made.
Kate was absolutely the Best!!! We could not be more pleased with her professionalism, enthusiasm and thoughtfulness. She made our Special Day even more special! Thank You Kate!
