info. Stunning photos, no awkward "gotcha shots" of people singing and dancing that seems so common among wedding photographers. The editing was great. She truly captured the joy and beauty of our wedding day. She was also laid back to work with the day of our wedding. The negative: it took 7 months to get our photos. I reached out weekly after 4 months to get updates, and we finally got our sneak peaks. Then, I had to keep up the regular requests for 3 more months to get the photos. I saw another review that said to get a delivery date written into the contract and would recommend that as well... or no full payment until all photos are received. Some kind of accountability is needed because the waiting was an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. If you go in knowing it could take the better part of a year for photos, I recommend her because she is incredibly talented. If you will want wedding photos sooner, you may want to consider another photographer.

dding to get an update on photos. She stated 5 months at the absolute latest. My husband and I were very sad and disappointed after not receiving any updates and still no photos by the "latest" day which was already too long.
I texted, emailed, and called her at exactly 5 months on April 11th. No response for over a week then we get an email saying she left he work phone at home and had a family emergency.
She went on to say she had several galleries going out in ten days and couldn't say exactly when ours would be delivered. I'm not sure if it meant in 10 days or later. She can never give a direct answer it seems. 10 days later no photos, no updates. We are almost at 6 months now. My husband and I joke that couples are probably divorced or widowed by the time they get their photos.
Other vendors have been asking to see photos since 1 month post wedding and they are in complete shock when I tell them we have not received them yet. If I could do it over I would definitely choose a different photographer. Many people told me that even 5 months was absolutely ridiculous. Here we are at nearly 6 months. Luckily we messaged her at 3 weeks and she sent over a sneak peak after we asked.
Either she takes on too much at a time or her time management simply sucks. If it is taking a year to deliver photos she needs to outsource or stop accepting new clients until she gets caught up.

We had a small, 16-person wedding and Kate was a seamless fit. By the end of the evening she was chatting with our guests (while still taking photos, of course) and giving everyone goodbye hugs. She made sure we got the shots we wanted and the shots we didn't even know we wanted. We love her photojournalistic style and the beautiful little moments she captured.

Kate was the best! I am not super comfortable in front of the camera and she gave great direction so I wasn't standing around awkwardly thinking what should I do with my arm etc......
It also was so nice having someone be a little bossy (in the good way) to round up everyone so group and family photos didn't take forever and we didn't miss any important ones.
I wasn't sure what to expect since we didn't meet in person until the rehearsal dinner (also highly recommend getting that shot if budget allows) but she was really funny and made us all feel at ease during pictures.
The pictures themselves are incredible, we have gotten so many compliments from our friends and family who saw them. I haven't ordered any prints yet so can't speak to the quality of them but the website looked great and was easy to navigate. It was a really good mix of candids/ journalistic shots that tell the story of the day and more posed/styled shots which friends/family always want to see.
Highly recommend! and her second shooter was a doll as well and even helped corral my wild dog so he didnt photobomb us and ruin my dress :)

m as possible outside of the wedding and to do that, my Mom spent a year making sure that the house that I grew up in looked amazing. We were hoping that Kate could capture a less formal, more natural set of photos with all of us and she did just that! Her images are absolutely stunning! She blended in and you can tell how comfortable she made everyone feel by the relaxed and natural vibe of all of the photos. She has given us some incredible pictures that we can share with our family and friends and she perfectly captured the feeling of love and togetherness that we were hoping would show through in the pictures. Kate was a recommendation from our wedding photographer who could not make the party the night before, but I am incredibly grateful that we got her- she added an element that we would not have had if we had used the same person throughout- she is creative, thoughtful and makes everyone look amazing. She has an outstanding eye for capturing detail, even detail that I had not flagged. You will not be disappointed if you go with Kate- she is a lovely person who takes incredible photos!

traditional engagement photos idea; she was content to traipse around Downtown Nashville, capturing us as we went, having as much fun as us. On the day of the wedding, she was so chill, completely vibing with our entire wedding party. She even handled me like a pro when I was having a bride anxiety meltdown and didn't want pictures taken (I'm so glad she insisted that I did). She was in the center of the action and was able to capture both the little details and emotions of that day.
