Our wedding weekend was executed without a single hiccup, and they felt as much like family as anyone else in attendance. They are so good at what they do, that I falsely think I want to throw another party soon just to work with them again.

We shared our vision and she immediately understood us as a couple and what it is we wanted for our wedding and from our planner. Kate and her team promptly drew up a calendar to keep us organized and informed, helping us avoid surprises. We can wholeheartedly say the planning process was an absolute dream. We truly enjoyed the months leading up to our big day, from venue tours & cake tasting to checking in with Kate and her team over a glass of wine… she somehow managed to make sure the smallest details were addressed without overwhelming us. KEE tended to and coordinated all aspects of our wedding including our rehearsal dinner at an Upper East Side mansion, our wedding day at St. Patrick’s and a fabulous Manhattan hotel, and our farewell breakfast. Her relationships with vendors enabled us to have everything we wanted, down to a custom round dance floor, allocated bourbon selections, and a string quartet for cocktail hour. Over the course of our wedding week KEE worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect, seeing each detail through down to the departure of our guests. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we owe that entirely to Kate Edmonds Events. We cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful experience from start to finish!

She knows all the great NYC-area wedding venues like the back of her hand and helped us choose an amazing spot. She connected us with fantastic vendors we never would have found on our own (catering, live music, florists, custom tailors, etc). As an aside, we also got great value for our budget (and we did not go over our budget). And on the day of the wedding, she couldn't have been more helpful. The event played out like a perfectly choreographed dance. And she was the choreographer, directing the entire production over the evening. To this day, we still have friends telling us our wedding was the nicest wedding they've ever attended. Amazing food. Great music. Beautiful floral arrangements. And multiple friends even have commented specifically on Kate, noting how gracefully she kept the event moving from scene to scene. The truth is none of this would have happened if not for Kate.

Throughout the planning process, she helped with contracts, sourced and researched everything from beautiful stationary to fancy handicapped port-a-loos, and beyond. Kate and her team also excelled at executing everything on the wedding weekend. They worked round the clock to ensure that all of our events were seamless and stunning, all the while, keeping a smile and positive attitude. It is clear that she truly loves this work. welcome for 150 guests and and then it flowed seamlessly to a rustic barn on the property which was transformed into an incredibly elegant explosion of color, light and fabulous food as we dined under the moonlight. The flowers in colors of oranges, fuschias, pinks were overflowing on the beautiful family style long tables. She had a fabulous fire pit built, and guests enjoyed s'mores, desserts and chatting late into the night... The wedding ceremony the next day was a fairytale in front of the mansion outdoors, followed by a meandering garden path up to a cocktail hour on the great lawn. Then we were all led to a romantic tent for dinner set for 250 people to dine and dance the night away surrounded by a plethora of many types of magnificent white flowers. She even had ceiling fans running in the middle of this, keeping guests comfortable on a steamy, summer night. It was an OMG moment as the the skies opened for a torrential rain, just as we finished dining. Nobody seemed to care, as we danced under the tent... as Kate made it all work, seemingly effortlessly! Somehow, as the celebration was winding down, the rain stopped! It was a perfect night... I can not think of a bigger challenge for a celebration, than to plan an entire weekend outdoors, and have to import every last detail. The estate was a beautiful backdrop to Kate's perfect design and production. Brava, Kate!

This, combined with her effusive, witty personality, sealed the deal. Once we signed with Kate, we felt comfortable knowing she was going to help us craft the most wonderful weekend. Between adventurous site visits, exciting band showcases, creative vision meetings, and the most delicious tastings, Kate really became part of the family. Her eye for detail is stunning. Both my wife and I wanted to surprise one another with what we wore, and Kate made sure that my suit, her dress, the cake design, the floral design, and the clothing for the bridal party all were cohesive and beautiful despite neither my wife nor I knowing all of the minutia. It all came together like a dream. The team of vendors she brought together for us was nothing short of remarkable (our friends, many of whom are professional singers, can not stop talking about our band!). Kate also perfectly balanced the more relaxed vibe we wanted for our very large Welcome Dinner the night before (complete with s’mores!) with the old Hollywood in the country feeling we desired for the wedding (the black and white dance floor and chandeliers were perfect). We topped the weekend off with a brunch for everyone who attended, and she made sure everyone had a glorious send off. During the weekend, her team made everything flow so smoothly. My wife and I actually were able to relax and enjoy time with friends and family, which was our goal in finding the perfect Hudson Valley venue. The ceremony was beautiful, and when we finally walked into the reception tent, it was like walking into a fairy-tale. We are still walking on air after our wedding, and we are so grateful to have Kate in our lives. She will make your dreams come true and then some!

I had ideas on things that I would like done however, with my hectic schedule and the idea of ruining my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary with over 175 guests, I was overwhelmed!!!! I lacked knowledge in the execution of things. That is when my mother told me she wanted me to work with Kate Edmonds. I was ecstatic! Finally someone with true expertise! From my first conversation with Kate, she was on par with the ideas I had for centerpieces, the color scheme, invitations, and the overall decor for the reception hall. Kate also exercised true discretion in withholding "surprise" details I incorporated, to take place during the course of my parents Wedding Anniversary. Kate was on site to assist in the seating of our guests, a detail I had not considered. She had a proper arrangement for each person's name. Jess was present and directed and ushered everyone from our cocktail hour room into the hall for the main event. Even though, I felt I had double checked every detail to an end. A situation arose where a bus I contracted to charter guests to the venue, had yet to arrive. I was angered, frustrated, and overcome with the feeling of failure. However, Kate was right by my side. She managed to keep onlooking guests at bay and to uphold the joy of the occasion. My stress levels had reached unchartered territory, yet Kate remained calm, cool and collected. I was grateful to have Kate's assistance in the details of everything. She was easy to work with. Truly interested in my suggestions, and she did not push for us to spend an exorbitant amount of money. Kate placed our desires for execution in the forefront and added her touch of experience and class. With Kate present at the venue, I was able to actually greet guests, enjoy the event, dance until my feet hurt, and to eat from the massive array of food choices we had. For me, that was best. I had never considered that in my planning. Without Kate and Jess, I wouldn't have had a moment to enjoy those things. Or to observe the wonderment on parents faces. Since the event, I have received numerous compliments on how wonderful the night was! My mother continuously asked me if it was a dream. And my father had the biggest smile I've ever seen. Call it "woman's intuition", but I knew I would need assistance, and that is when I met Kate. I visited Kate Edmonds, of Kate Edmond's Events and she and Jess were the "breath of fresh air" that I sought.Kate was professional and approachable from the very start, and she provided me with a flexible budget: suggestions for amazing photographers, florists, and bakers. Kate assisted in making my 40th Wedding Anniversary, a night I will never forget. I used a photographer she suggested and truly, the photos are astonishing and I will use them for years to come. Kate understood my desire to capture the moment in the most organic way. As a person of color, I desired a photographer that would represent my guests, family, and I in our most authentic light and shade. That was a mission, which was accomplished! Best of all, together with Kate the photographer and I managed to settle on a price within my budget. My cake came from a baker Kate suggested, and it blew both my guests and I away! At the end of our event, there wasn't a piece of cake left. (P.S. we had roughly 175 guests) For me, it wasn't just Kate's professional hand that made my night. It was her personal touch and attention to detail. Kate and Jess were present to assist in the greeting and seating of our guests. Kate personally aided me in putting on my gown. And although it was my 40th Wedding Anniversary, I had the joy and jitters of a new bride. I am ever grateful, that she was there. I would highly recommend Kate Edmonds Events to everyone! In fact, I'm looking forward to using her services, when its time for my daughter's special day.

We didn't have time to deal with all the issues so we asked Kate to creatively manage both the macro and micro details of all aspects of the wedding and we were so glad we did! After a few interviews via skype and one in person I really feel like Kate took her time to get to know us, our lifestyle, and our preferences.... During a brainstorm session Kate had amazing ideas including one about having a 'movable feast' instead of a traditional sit down wedding dinner. We went with this idea and EVERYONE IS STILL TALKING ABOUT HOW COOL THAT WAS!! All of the vendors she suggested were perfect and phenomenal! From Marcey Brownsein Catering, DJ James, and Bettina, oh lovely Bettina! (our officiant), what a steal! Kate was such a pleasure to work with exhibiting the highest level professionalism at all times, whilst all the while being relaxed and fun! We got a bit frazzled near the end and she really helped coach and inspire us through this rough patch. You could tell she had the experience of many many many events, and this was so, so key for us because we have none! I really felt as though Kate and Jess were really personally invested in our success, almost as if we were family. All in all I would enthusiastically recommend Kate for pretty much any event, especially if you're busy and simply just want it done right!!

Back in mid June,I was doing research on the Knot and I received a msg from KEE and stated she has experience planning wedding at my venue before and show strong interest to plan my wedding.I feel great!Cuz my venue is a historical building so it has a lot limitations and restrictions.I thought her experience is a big plus+ so I chose her.Since I already have cater,venue and have been in contact with florist,I only bought a half package with her including wedding design,rehearsal and day of coordination.I guess becuz I didn't buy a 'FULL' package?this is where all the story began. One of the requirements she can sell me a half package is I need to let them do my flowers.Although I already got in touch with several florists,I think it does not hurt me. Eventually,I know she's sub contracting the flower to another florist.Not to mention the pricy price I have to pay,they made my flowers wrong!We have very detailed discussion on what kind of flowers to use and shape of the boutique.1st, my bridal boutique($300) didn;t turn out to be waterdrop shape as I requested. 2nd,my bridesmaid boutiques($150) are EXACTLY same as my boutique although what I asked is while tullip!3rd, same thing for groom and groomsmen boutonnieres,they are EXACTLY the same.I emphasize many times they need to be different.I wonder if she listen.And she starting to say they left the tullip at office and it needs 20mins to back to office to get them.Apparently it;s a lie cuz I know the tullip is much expensive than the roses she gave.I wish I can attach pics to show how terrible the boutique look like,I feel everyone is laughing at me after learnt I spend $$$ to get this kind of flower. My suggestion to anyone have florist package with her later to have her write down the flowers to use in the contract! 2rd, she;s not good at budget control.Everything I give to her is beyond my budget-flowers 5k budget turns to 6.5k,rental budget 2k turns to 4k.And she even trying to bill me something I didn;t agree with.Although she said 'I don't want to give u a cold invoice' but I feel all time she;s talking about is MONEY and I really feel pushed! 3.I probably will still leave her a 5 stars cuz everyone telling me do not expect a 'perfect' day,there will always have something 'wrong',so I don't really blame her on those stress and extra money I spent as long as she present everything without big issue.Until AFTER the wedding,she told me vendors didn;t clear up and move out on time which leads to extra $1000 charge from the venue.Of course,she gave me thousand reasons-the elevator is small,breakdown time is short,so many vendors... But come on,she's the day of coordination and we inspect the venue together and she said she has experience working on this venue since the 1st day we met.That's why I hire her!And her attitude was terrible when I tried to seek a solution with her,she starting to say how much she did and how lucky I am to get a half package price. Excuse me? Overall,I don't feel I have a very good experience with KEE and she said she won't sell half package any more-why you sell it then?so anyone has 100k+ budget,I would recommend her.

While planning a wedding can at times be difficult and stressful, it is only amplified when you don't live close to where your wedding will take place. I have to say that my experience with Kate was like no other wedding planner that I've heard of. From picking the venue, a dress, cake, photographer, and to little things like creating a hashtag; she always made it fun and got us. She paid close attention to every detail and truly created the most amazing memory not only for our family but for every single person who attended. Our rehearsal dinner was beautiful and sophisticated as well and Kate's team worked with my husband to establish an alternate party venue for those guests who were not on the rehearsal dinner list. That too was amazing! There is nothing I would change about our wedding weekend and choices we have made. Not only I have the most wonderful memories of my beautiful wedding day but I also have great memories built throughout the year of planning it. It was the most memorable of times! KEE always gave me peace and confidence that if I'm not there things are still getting done! I am eternally grateful for everything and everyone and so glad we have made a friend like Kate for life!

The following cocktail and dancing reception the very next week for 175 friends at the Ritz Carlton in San Francisco for our friends on the West Coast was a blast; lots of dancing and even a conga line! Kate and her crew handled us with dignity, grace a wonderful sense of humor and a clear head, considering how much security she had to deal with, not to mention press annoyances! Our rehearsal dinner had 120 people attend, and they were just the out of towers. It was a wonderful nod to our love of all things Asian, The Asia Society was a perfect authentic choice. The decor was splendid as was the Chinese band she produced at the last minute when we changed our mind about music! All the food was wonderful and the settings superb. The cakes too, were more delicious than we could believe. Gone was the cardboard cake of our childhood memories. Subsequently, Kate has produce our birthday parties and private dinners and continues to be a great friend. Love JBS

Her connections for all of the necessities- music, makeup, food, lighting, flowers, photography,!the simply amazing wedding cake, made this a joyful and exciting experience from beginning to end. We wished for our home ,NYC , to be a key player in the feel of our party - a destination wedding for a large contingency of important friends and family from all over the world. Kate was able to give us our big traditional church wedding followed by a fabulous NYC cocktail party that our friends continue to reminisce about to this day.
