To say Kate is AMAZING is an understatement. Kate did my hair and makeup on the day of my bridal shower — she immediately understood the look I was going for and I couldn’t have been happier with the natural, yet glamorous look she was able to achieve. The day of my shower was SO incredibly hot/humid and my makeup and hair stayed ALL day (it looked absolutely perfect way past the time my shower ended!) To top it all off, Kate is just a wonderful human. There are so many emotions on a big day and she made the getting ready process so much fun and stress free. I would recommend Kate one million times over — you need her for your big day!

Kate was so wonderful to work with the whole time from my trials to the big day. I was having a difficult time figuring out the exact look I wanted for my hair and Kate was so helpful in coaching me through it and listening to what I wanted and I ended up LOVING my hair. I was so lucky to get to have Kate as my makeup and hair artist when I was a bridesmaid for a wedding. She was quick to respond, easy to coordinate with and flexible. She listened to exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup and was able to tweak things in the moment if I changed my mind. She even mixed her colors to match my complexion! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and I loved it as well. She is a very talented professional and I would recommend her anytime!

I was absolutely thrilled with Kate and her team! The makeup trial was so much fun and I felt really heard. She was flexible and had so many ideas. I came with some pictures and she showed me those looks and more. I had been on several trials before and just left looking unflattering or like a totally different person. I left Kate feeling like I finally knew my bridal look! She also gave me great makeup advice in general. I felt SO comfortable with her and could be absolutely honest. There were a few changes to my look from the trial and Kate diligently made sure that I had everything I wanted and more. She was so flexible and patient! My makeup stayed PERFECTLY all night and I could not have been happier with the whole look! Make an appointment with her ASAP!

Kate and her team were awesome to work with! I have sensitive skin and am allergic to a few ingredients commonly found in makeup products, so I have always be hesitant about getting my makeup professionally done. When I first spoke with Kate, I told her about these concerns and she told me that we would review each product being used at my Hair & Makeup trial. I was so thrilled to work with someone that took the time to make sure I was comfortable with every product used. She even checked in with me after our trial to make sure I had no reactions. This made me feel so comfortable and confident for my wedding day! On the day of the wedding, Kate and her team were super efficient and performed all of the services requested in a timely manner. Everyone was so sweet and professional. My whole bridal party, mother and mother-in-law and I were so happy with our hair and makeup services! Everyone looked and felt beautiful the entire day! Kate and her team were absolutely amazing from the day I booked her, all the way until the big day! Kate was so responsive to my questions and answered me in such a timely manner! I had 2 hair trials with Kate. She is absolutely the sweetest and so easy to work with! My first trial my hair was on the shorter side and I did a second trial one month before my wedding. Kate killed it the day of my wedding! She also did my moms hair and maid of honor and we were all happy with everything!

Hair and make up was one of my pickiest vendors, and Kate did not let me down. I used Kate for my hair and for my bridesmaids' hair and make up. Her team was so talented and receptive to whatever my girls wanted. All of the girls hair and make up stayed great throughout the rainy day. Kate made sure that my hair was exactly what I wanted it to be and was open to making changes. Pricing was so reasonable too! Would highly recommend!

I hired Kate Ford and her team for my wedding in Westchester in August 2022 and it was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire wedding planning process!! Kate is the definition of an artist and a professional — she is absolutely excellent at what she does and the work she did for my wedding day was truly breathtaking. My makeup was absolutely perfect and my hair, OMG, it was a work of genius. Kate is a very chill, down to earth and accommodating person and not only was she great at the hair and makeup, she was also great to have around while getting ready for the big day. She’s overall just a great person and I’m so happy that she was part of my wedding day. My wedding was a gay wedding and our bridal parties weren’t really typical — we had men and androgynous women on both sides and Kate was able to offer them options that went beyond the traditional, one-size-fits-all beauty packages and she was able to accommodate everyone’s individual needs, which really meant a lot to our party. Also, my wife does wear makeup but very little, she certainly wasn’t going to be doing a full face, and Kate was able to give her a custom, specialized look that was very light, made her skin look flawless and highlighted her features. My wife is very particular when it comes to her makeup and Kate totally nailed it. Finally, her team that she brought for our bridal party members were FANTASTIC! Everyone loved their makeup and hair and they performed an absolute miracle for my mom’s hair, which is extremely thin and difficult to style! She’s never looked so beautiful. Hands down, Kate Ford was one of my favorite wedding day vendors and I’m already thinking up ways that I can use her again in the future!!! Thank you again for everything, Kate. Lots of love.

AMAZING !! That is all I need to describe Kate and her girls. The whole process was great. Kate was so sweet and easygoing. On the morning of the big day, her girls did a fantastic job. Kate and her team went above and beyond for my bridal party on my wedding day! They arrived on time, and worked diligently for the entire allotted hair and make-up time. I had a great experience with Kate on my wedding day! She took her time making sure everything was perfect and my make up was beautiful all day. Kate is a true artist! I was recommended by a friend and had my trial with Kate this past summer for my engagement photos. She gave me a beautiful natural glam look. I am not someone who wears makeup daily and it felt so light and comfortable for the entire shoot, even in the 90 degree weather! Since my trial went amazing I booked Kate and her team for my wedding. She and her team arrived early the day of, and got all my bridal party done before the photographers arrived. All my bridesmaids loved their look, some even said they wish they had found Kate for their wedding! Her and her team are true professionals and make you laugh/ feel comfortable throughout the entire process. My hair and makeup lasted from 11:30am till 5:00am!!! I’ve never felt soo glamorous and the compliments from my sneak peek wedding photos keep pouring in. I highly recommend Kate and look forward to using her again for future events!

Make up artist Jeanine, and Hair artist Stephanie along with Tyler & Christina were great to work with on my wedding day. We had 10 girls in total getting ready and everything moved smoothly and they even finished early so we had plenty of time for last minute touch ups. All my girls looked beautiful that day & were very happy with their hair and makeup as was I. It was great working with them all & fun hanging out with them that day, totally stress free!

From the smooth and reliable communication throughout the wedding planning to the trial that helped us determine the key look for the big day, and the 6:45 am early morning arrival time on my wedding day, Kate and her team were on point for my group of 10 with a 10:15 ready deadline! In addition to being talented and knowledgeable artists, Kate and her team are super friendly, encouraging, and helped us have fun as we prepped for the wedding. They also graciously accepted feedback and did some re-do's when a few small details felt off. Kate worked exclusively with me and her other team members managed to do hair and makeup for 10 in under 3 hours. Overall, I loved working with Kate and I loved the look of my hair and makeup, as well as the look for all my girls. I felt beautiful and glamorous but also very me. I can’t even begin to explain how talented and amazing Kate and her team are. I have used Kate for years for multiple events. The first time was for my brother’s wedding. From there she has done some of my friends weddings and this month my own! Everytime we have used Kate and her team, not only does everyone looking stunning but they feel it! Kate and her team really take your vision and make it come to life. I cannot wait to continue to use them for future events.

I booked Kate without meeting her during the height of COVID and will NEVER regret that decision. Her team was super efficient, professional, and accommodating. They had ten of us ready in time for the photographer with time for touch ups. Our makeup was flawless and did not move the entire night and everyone’s hair was exactly what the girls requested. Kate was incredibly kind and flexible throughout the chaos of Covid. Our hair and makeup lasted beautifully through many happy tears and a full night of dancing. After countless trials and being unhappy with my hair, I contacted Kate knowing she would be able to perfect the style I was looking for. Meeting Kate for the first time for my trial, I felt like I knew her forever and she was one of my friends. Even for the trial my hair was perfect and just the way I envisioned. On the day of my wedding Kate of course blew me away with my hair transformation and also helped me calm my nerves plus although I wore my veil the entire time, not once did I feel as of my hair was out of place or my veil was going to fall out. Her assistant Paola was so amazing and my bridesmaids and flower girls hair stayed allllll night long!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Kate and hopefully I get to work with her again in the future!!! I had to find a new hair girl 2 weeks before my wedding due to an issue with my previous stylist. Kate was quick to respond and was very accommodating and understood my situation. She did a beyond fabulous job for me and my bridesmaids and every single person at my wedding was raving over how beautiful my hair turned out. Would recommend her to every single person I know.

At my first trial, Kate worked step by step to make sure I liked what was happening with my hair and makeup. I had a second trial for my minimony (thanks, COVID 🙃) with Paola and she killed it! I was indecisive and changed my hairstyle about a week out without a trial and Paola knocked it out of the parkkkk the day of! And was SO patient! I literally tried 7 different lip colors (🤦🏼‍♀️) and she was just so accommodating. 🥰 HIGHLY recommend booking Kate and her team. They truly go the extra mile to understand your vision as opposed to just “listening” and going over the top and doing whatever they want to do. Kate has been such a pleasure to work with. My wedding was postponed literally at the last minute (two weeks before). She was able to accommodate not only my new date, but also was able to modify my look for both my mom and myself for my small outdoor ceremony. As someone with very soft, untextured hair she was able to give me a very soft half up half down style that lasted ALL DAY. I could not be happier with the outcome and cannot wait to work with her again in May.

I don't wear a lot of makeup so I was particular in who I would entrust with my makeup. Kate came recommended from another Bride so I contacted her for a trial and if she could take care of my large bridal party. Trial was great, gave her my deposit and we were set. Then Covid happened! Kate was super flexible and understanding when it came to all the changes I had to make. My makeup looked AWESOME and I was super happy! All of my bridesmaids looked great. I even had one bridesmaid who opted out of makeup (because she didn't think it was Covid safe) and changed her mind. Kate so kindly agreed to do one more Bridesmaid! That was her 9th face of the day! Kate also wore a mask the ENTIRE day and was super meticulous about cleaning tools between clients. Kate - thank you for helping make my day a dream!

I’m so excited to have Kate do my hair on my wedding day. I originally thought there is no way that some can be good at both hair and makeup. But she is!! She’s amazing at both. She is so professional and I trust her and her team completely. Also her studio in her house is so perfect!!

Kate is incredible! She was patient and listened to be able to understand exactly what kind of updo I wanted and executed it just as I had envisioned. The style also lasted PERFECTLY all night long. I am not kidding, it looked flawless even after 11 hours of being outside in the heat and lots of serious dancing. Even the curls I had flanking my face stayed PERFECT the entire night. She is so down to earth and easygoing. I booked a trial with her and then used her again for my engagement pictures, and she even drove to me in Queens when it was snowing! She called me the week before our wedding to plan out our hair/makeup times and she had plenty hair and makeup artists to style my large bridal party. (Bride, 2 Mothers, 10 bridesmaids) Kate and her team arrived at 6:45 AM and were ready to go before 7. We were all ready in time for my photographers at 1:15 PM with time for touch-ups. As the bride, Kate spent nearly 2 hours on me and I absolutely loved how I looked on our wedding day. I would HIGHLY recommend Kate for wedding and all events.

Today i had the pleasure of having my bridal hair and make-up trial with Kate and it was the most relaxing yet sensational experience ever. Kate is not only incredibly professional and respectful but radiates positively and a glow all her own. My mother came with me and I cannot say enough good things about how attentive Kate was listening to both her and my likes and dislikes (which there barely was). As soon as we decided on one part of a style she came through to complete the look tenfold. I booked the moment my trial was over and have been gushing over my photos and my styles since I left. I will be recommending her and her company whenever I can.

My entire experience with Kate was amazing! After having a terrible makeup trial with someone else, I was feeling anxious about doing it all over again. Kate was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable and really listened to what I wanted for both my hair and makeup - I booked her on the spot! The morning of my wedding Kate and her partner were on time and ready to go. I had myself, 5 girls and 1 flower girl and everyone came out beautiful. Kate is AMAZING and the sweetest! I met Kate while wondering through the bridal showcase at Nassau Coliseum and am so glad I did. She was so sweet, easy to talk to and just knew she was who I would be working with. Within a few days I booked a trial and was more then impressed, she took the photos I showed her and made the look I was hoping for happen! In the following months she was easy to get in contact with, she provides you with an easy to read invoice and updates them as payments are made. The day of Kate was already unloading her car when I was pulling into the parking lot of my vendor and even at 6am was enthusiastic and ready to start the day with me and my bridal party. I was lucky to have her and I never once felt nervous. She chatted with myself and all the girls in her chair while working on us. She also had a makeup artist and someone curling hair as there was 7 of us getting our hair done. Kate did both my hair and makeup. Day of I asked her to alter the back of my hairstyle and she NAILED it !! My husband even commented on my makeup because it was so natural ! Kate asked me a few times if she could do something more to my makeup and I completely trusted her and am glad I did. It was a late night, so I did not take my hair out and it was still perfectly intact the next day so I was able to enjoy it for a bit more ! My bridal party looked amazing and I felt beautiful, thanks to Kate! If you have the opportunity to book her, DO IT.. you won’t regret it !!! Thank you Kate :)

I truly don’t even know where to start with Kate and her team. I was super indecisive on the look I wanted and Kate was so patient throughout the two trials I scheduled and ultimately came up with a wonderful game plan. I ordered my extensions through her for my wedding as well. And during my makeup and hair appointment I had for a separate occasion (yes Ioved her work that much I use her for every occasion) she noticed I had dyed my hair ever so slightly. She went out of her way without my asking and knowledge to order another color of extensions she felt would better match my hair out of her own pocket and brought BOTH sets the morning of my wedding to ensure I would have the best look. I was speechless with how much she truly takes care of her clients. All 10 bridesmaids, my mother and mother in law, myself and my grandmother were completely with flawless hair and makeup right on schedule! She was truly one of the best vendors I had that day. I wish I could remember the three other ladies who helped the morning of my wedding because they were so talented as well.

My bridesmaids booked Kate for me as a surprise, I was going to attempt to do my hair and makeup myself - so glad I didn’t because I would never have been able to do the hair and makeup that Kate was able to give me. With no trial, she was able to create my exact vision - a loose, long, intricate braid, and makeup that highlighted my face in the right places. She was really fun and down to earth - exactly who you want on a crazy wedding day morning. Completely talented and really cares about making your vision become reality.

Kate did my hair and makeup for our Montauk wedding on 9/29. Kate is seriously THE BEST. Where to start? She is so responsive, will answer your texts and emails back within minutes, email you back late at night, and help you decide what you want for your day while working with your vision. We actually experimented with a few different looks, I even used her for last minute event makeup leading up to our day and it was so nice keeping in touch over the months leading up to the wedding and beyond. She can do anything from a natural glow to full on “Kim K Glam” as one of my bridesmaids requested, lol. And she KILLS hair too. Her extensions gave me so much beautiful extra volume and curl. My hair and makeup lasted all day and night. I didn’t even take it off before bed and I still looked great the next morning!! Where do I even begin?! Kate and her team are amazing. I searched all over for someone because my wedding was in Long Island but I lived upstate so it was a struggle to find and meet with someone. I also have extremely curly hair so I wanted someone with experience and wasn’t just going to say let’s straighten it. From the beginning Kate was amazing. Through email and for a couple months of trying to decide, I finally asked her if we could set up a trial. Fast forward to the time for the trial, I was now living in California so meeting was even harder than before. She was so accommodating and flexible. Victoria and Kate brought everything I wanted to life. Just like when I knew my dress was it, I knew my hair and makeup were set for that day. Fast forward even more to my wedding day, I had Victoria (for hair) and Laura for makeup come in that morning. Laura did the girls and moms makeup and Kate came later on in the day to do my makeup. All three of them were perfect! All makeup and hair lasted all day, even with it being over 100 and humid that day. I could go on with every possible detail but I’ll save that all. They were so much fun to work with and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to come and glamify myself and my girls than them. Thank you so much ladies!❤️

Working with Kate was amazing! When I had my first trial with her I knew I was going to use her for my wedding. I am not someone who really wears makeup and I know nothing about makeup so I wanted a very natural look. I wanted it to look like I got my makeup done but I still wanted to look like me. She nailed it and did a fantastic job! I got endless compliments all night long. I got my makeup done for my wedding day around 10am and I did not get into bed that night until 530am and after a night of sweating and dancing it still looked like I just got it done! I highly recommend her she is truly talented!

It was a pleasure to work with Kate for my wedding in April. From the moment I did my trial I knew she was "the one." She understood my style and made me feel amazing. My hair and makeup were in place all day (and since we started at 5am that's saying something)! One of the things I liked about Kate was how responsive she was! She got back to me so quick about every little thing which when you are planning a wedding is a blessing. She even helped me find a makeup artist when I forgot to book one for my engagement shoot and she wasn't available. I met Kate at a bridal expo and booked a trial with her on the spot for my 30th birthday. She had a very down to earth vibe and was edgy. I’m very particular about my makeup, especially my eyeliner wing. Go big or go home! haha. She listened to everything I said and never made me feel pushy. That was over a year ago.... She brought two girls from her team and every single one of them looked absolutely stunning. I also had Kate come to the venue to do touch ups and fix me when I needed it. She is a damn rockstar. Not only did she reapply my lipstick and recurl a few strands but she also held my bouquet (which easily weighed 10lbs!) and fixed wondering hairs while photos were being taken. “Hold on! I need to move this one piece of hair... trust me”. She went above and beyond (like always). All of my girls were so pleased with everything and numerous guests commented on both their hair and makeup!! I can’t recommend her and her team enough!

I recently used Kate for my wedding in October. I loved the way my makeup came out for my bridesmaids & myself. She was easy to contact & make a trial appointment with. She was a little late for the trial and day of but she was able to finish the makeup on time, even before my photographer got to my house. I loved the way she made me look & would definitely recommend her.

Kate is absolutely amazing as a makeup artist and hair stylist. She is super professional, caring, and easy to speak with. She makes you feel like you are hanging out with your girlfriend and catching up on each other’s lives. She would always email back very quickly and answer any questions I had. She was flexible when it came to the start times for the day of the wedding. Talking to her, she listened to all my ideas and made great suggestions and was respectful to what my mother wanted as far as her hair and makeup (She doesn’t like wearing a lot). My makeup and hair lasted from 7:30AM to 7:30PM. The airbrush foundation was so lightweight and looked so natural on my skin. The eyelashes were so comfortable. My hair did not feel too heavy, even with all the bobby pins. I did not need to touch up or fix anything except for my lipgloss, which she sells (And you should buy from her. The formula is high quality and she helped me find the perfect shade for my skin tone. Also I had it for the wedding and now the rest of my life as a keepsake) I highly recommend Kate Ford Beauty.

Kate connected me to her other team member Victoria, who did an amazing bayalage and haircut. Kate also did a keratin treatment and scheduling all of this was so easy with her flexibility. My hair and makeup trial was so easy... her work is phenomenal and she really listens to what you say. Kate did an amazing job for my wedding. I was very hesitant about getting my makeup done because I don’t normally wear any. I went to one woman before who didn’t listen to any of my requests, and I ended up crying. Kate listened to what I thought, gave her opinions, and gave me such a peace of mind. First of all, before you even meet her, you're going to love how quick she is to respond and how direct she is. So many vendors want to make a relationship with you first by chewing your ear off, when all I'm trying to do is get some basic answers first! I LOVE how easy she has been making this process. Honestly, my favorite vendor for the whole wedding so far, and I've only met her once. Also, a big plus is that she does BOTH hair and makeup. And one thing I haven't seen her advertise as much is that most (if not all) of her products are cruelty free. For me, that's an awesome plus. I just had my hair and makeup trial this past week and it went great. She was there on time (actually, early!), she listens to what you want, and she's personable. Her rates aren't the cheapest, but they are fair (def not outrageous) considering she's doing both hair and makeup, etc. I had made an Excel sheet (which I'm sure most of you have) and when you looked at everyone else compared to her, it just made the most sense to go with her and I'm so glad I am going to book her! Can't wait to have her there on my wedding day. I know already she's the one vendor I'm not going to have to worry about at all.
