We LOVED working with Kate Grace Photography for our wedding day and engagement photos. Katie was an absolute delight and brought such a peaceful presence to our wedding day. She, ...
and her second photographer Dami, captured our day perfectly. The photos are timeless and a great reflection of our day. I cannot recommend Kate Grace Photography enough!
I wish I could give Katie and her team a higher rating. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish. She is so easy to work with and took such beautiful shots! We had a ma...
jor timing snafu on the day of the wedding, and Katie & her team jumped right into action and made sure things were fixed as needed. They truly went above and beyond and made me feel so much less stressed during the wedding. I will absolutely be hiring them again for family photos, newborn shots, truly everything.
Working with Katie for our wedding was a dream! She's incredibly sweet, kind, and fun, which really set the tone for the whole day. My husband and I are very awkward/self conscious...
people in photos, but Katie made us feel so comfortable and relaxed the whole time. Almost like we didn't even realize we were being photographed - and most of the time we didn't, which made for the best shots! All of our family and guests raved about her and really enjoyed her being a part of our day. Even through a rainstorm, we found joy, fun, and amazing photos. We simply are blown away by what she captured and sob with tears of joy every time we look through our album. We couldn't be more thankful for our experience and our memories that we get to cherish through Katie's work. She truly made our day special and I can only hope to get to work with her again!
Using Kate Grace Photography was easily the best decision I made when planning my wedding!!! We have had our photos back for two months now and are STILL crying every time we look ...
through them and will never get enough. I want to print every single one, post them all, and treasure them until I die!! They are so special, so beautiful, and captured our day perfectly.
My dad did not understand why the photographer cost so much money until he saw the photos. Now he says it was the best money he has ever spent and shows every single person he meets (yes - even strangers) at least 10 photos from the wedding. It is adorable, and he is RIGHT! The day flew by just like everyone told me it would, and I am so so happy we have these incredible photos to last a lifetime.
Katie is simply a ray of sunshine in this world and had the best attitude, calmness, sincerity, and joy of all our vendors. Her photography style is timeless, elegant, romantic - everything I hoped for in my wedding photos and more. She made me feel so relaxed and beautiful all day long, and I felt like she had listened to what I wanted and did her best to get those shots. If I were to change ANYTHING I would have hired her for even more hours!!
Katie is just one of those people you meet and can immediately tell she’s a good person. She was a true pleasure to work with - no drama, no stress. Worth every penny like my dad says. On top of all that, she delivered a good amount of sneak peek photos within 48 hours of the wedding and we had our entire wedding collection back just a few weeks after that!! Couldn’t have asked for more. If you’re looking for a timeless, wonderful, and kind wedding photographer - look no further - you’ve found your gal!!

ngagement first, and we liked her so much, we asked her to do the wedding too! She made us feel so comfortable and was so helpful with the chaos on the day of, and I just liked her so much as a person, too. She is 10000% the best wedding photographer in Washington, D.C. and I would hire her again for any event in a heartbeat.
Katie and her team are absolutely wonderful! We finally had a chance to go through the photos again after a quick initial look through, and everything is absolutely beautiful!! Th...
ey captured the day perfectly and it was such a joy to see it come to life in the pictures, especially since the day itself felt like such a blur! They were fabulous to work with - professional, talented, and fun - and we appreciate everything they did to make the day so spectacular (including allowing us to relive it over and over through the photos)!
Besides being the BEST photographer, Katie is very kind and friendly :) Jose and I had a super fun time with her during our session! The photos are beautiful, and they perfectly re...
flect the love we have for each other <3 Thank you so much Katie !!
Kate made the whole shoot a truly FUN experience. Kate was so comfortable to be around, and her personality made it easy to be ourselves! She had the best attention to detail. Not ...
only is she an excellent photographer but she truly cares about her clients, which showed in how she paid attention to detail like fixing a stray hair or a wrinkled shirt. She also was AMAZING at posing us when we had no idea what we were doing! She knew all the poses and never missed a beat. But she also let us be ourselves which was so fun. Kate is creative, so kind, professional, and responsive. I cant say enough good things about the quality of the photos she took and the whole experience. I have never had a photo shoot produce SO MANY great quality photos. These will be memories captured forever.
I was fortunate enough to have Katie photograph my fiancé and I for an engagement session. She is kind, thoughtful, intentional, and a pleasure to be around. One thing I loved abo...
ut her style is she doesn't force you into poses, it all feels very natural, and I think the photos you get from this style end up feeling "more you" and more emotional. Her editing style is subtle and she creates really elegant images that you can treasure forever. I can't say enough good things about Katie, and highly recommend her for any occasion!
Kate is such a great photographer! We worked with her over two sessions, a wedding and post-wedding photoshoot. For the latter, we'd picked a random small trail along our jogging r...
oute in the middle of nowhere, and Kate made it look like a magical wonderland. Her edits have been universally loved by us and our wedding guests; I love that they are suitable for social media and large prints alike.
Some additional highlights of having Kate for our shoots:
-We got to keep all the pictures
-She is lightning fast with her workflow, switching between lenses and setting up lights for night shots; she was able to capture every important moment
-Prior to the wedding, we filled out a questionnaire that included subjects/moments that we wanted her to focus on. In reviewing all the photos, it became apparent that Kate planned things out ahead of time.
-Kate is a master at creating bokeh and framing light in general
-She was superb at helping us pose. Everything came out natural and warm
10/10 recommended and would work with her again!
Katie was amazing at our wedding and we're so grateful to have her photography to memorialize our wedding day! Truly high quality work overall, and a number of the shots she took a...
re incredible centerpiece-worthy pieces. Even family members who were sometimes hard to please loved her work. Katie is also not just a talented photographer but absolutely lovely to work with. She was very organized and thought ahead on the details to make sure no aspects (e.g. wedding party and family combinations, good spots for taking photos at the venue, etc.) were overlooked, but she was also flexible in the planning portion and didn't push me in any direction I didn't want to go. It was helpful to have her experience and knowledge to help plan out the wedding when many of the other vendors didn't have their acts together. And on the day of, her calm self-assurance helped keep me grounded. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer and would hire her again myself!
We hired Katie to photograph our wedding and then a couple years later our family photos. I can’t rave about Katie enough. I put all my trust into her for our wedding and she didn’...
t disappoint. Not only was she fantastic with all of our guests but she didn’t miss a single detail about our day. Her work is beautiful and high-quality. And this is coming from someone who’s incredibly picky when it comes to photography. Katie is professional, personable, knowledgeable, and wonderful with children. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer or family portrait photographer. Top notch!
Katie (Kate Grace Photography) is absolutely incredible! I have had the pleasure of working with her for two engagement sessions and I cannot wait for my upcoming wedding. Katie is...
kind, genuine, and sweet. She makes you feel so comfortable! She is absolutely incredible at posing you for the best pictures. She edits the pictures perfectly. I cannot wait to display them in our future home. I find myself looking at them constantly - they are perfect! I highly recommend Katie and will work with her every chance that I get!
My husband and I hired Kate Grace Photography to capture both our engagement photos and wedding photos. We cannot say enough great things about her. She is so sweet, easy to work w...
ith, and can handle the stress of a wedding. We have a large difficult family, but she managed them so well. She is a solo photographer but there was not a moment she missed. She was able to capture everything! Our pictures turned out so well and she gives them all to you in the end. I know some photographers will charge you for pictures or you only get to keep 400/1000 pictures, but she sends you all of the edited pictures (we got over 700). SHE is AMAZING!! We plan to hire her for all of photography needs in the future!
She's amazing! Was so patient, understanding and wonderful on our day. Katie is so genuine and will help you with whatever you need. My bridal party and I were taking pictures befo...
re the ceremony and I was getting too warm and she told me to bug out and go in the AC, Katie was solely focused on what was best for me rather than just going through the motions. Will definitely use her for another event/occasion :)
Kate was great and made sure we got all the shots we wanted the day of. We really enjoyed our engagement shoot and our pictures were amazing! Our wedding day went so smoothly and ...
Kate was very professional and friendly at the same time. I can't wait until we get all of our pictures back!! I know they will be amazing!
KateGrace Photography was professional throughout the whole process. I met her at a wedding expo and I liked her instantly. Her personality is perfect for photographing weddings ...
and her enthusiasm is infectious. The engagement session we did was amazing at the Great Falls National Park in Great Falls, VA. The temperatures were so high that my hair was melting and she braided for me! Katie did not falter once and never complained (I think I did more ha!). At the wedding she was great and captured some great photos. She has an amazing eye that comes with natural talent and she captures the unexpected angles. She was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great photographer for their big day! Thank you KateGrace Photography for lasting memories and great times :).
