We were drawn to Kate Holt Photography due to the editing style - bright colors, fun candids - and her whole team delivered during the event and after! Noah was absolutely delightful with such positive energy. He immediately understood our vibe (goofy) and ran with it in the best way! One of my favorite photos from our wedding is my now-husband and his best man in the "Titanic pose," which Noah suggested. He captured everything we wanted while maintaining professionalism and keeping us on track. We were so nervous about posing (neither of us like being in front of the camera), but he made it fun, easy, and somehow look natural! We felt immediately comfortable with Noah, and we are so grateful for his time, effort, and energy. Trang only met us day of and adapted her style immediately. She understood when we needed more direction and when to just let us do our thing. She kept an eye on my hair and makeup (it ended up being an outdoor wedding on one of the hottest days of the year), dealt with my fan and water bottle, and stayed upbeat and positive through it all. Although we needed a light-hearted, goofy experience, I have no doubt that Kate, Noah, and Trang could adapt to and capture any client's vibe in a beautiful way. They coordinated perfectly with our videographers and other vendors, and we are so grateful to have had them as part of our team. They care deeply about and take pride in their work, and it shows. Our photos turned out better than we could've ever dreamed. They show all of the emotion and beauty that we experienced. and organize the wedding! Above and beyond in every way and the cost was well worth what we received from them. They have the best personalities, and made our day absolutely perfect. They took incredible pictures and captured the day beautifully,  better than we could have ever hoped for. We were so happy they were willing to travel all the way to the northwest corner of Washington state to capture our day for us. We even had guests telling us how awesome they were.

saw it. From day one, communication was straightforward and fun! Day-of, they were such a blessing to have with us for every moment of our wedding and reception. It felt like having friends hanging out with us. After the ceremony, our pastor had us take a moment to look out over the congregation and take it all in. As I stood with tears in my eyes, I glanced at Kate and she looked back at me with tears in her eyes. So sweet to have someone who loves not just their work but the couples they are working for! They are both very personable, joyful and easy-going while also having everything completely under control. We had 400+ guests, and Dom had the BEST idea for us: getting a photograph with every table as they were released to the buffet. This gave us the opportunity to at least say hello to each person, and now we have a captured moment with EVERY guest--- so, so special. Turn-around time for our full gallery was only a few weeks- WOW! We have just loved reliving each moment of the day as captured through their incredible eye. We had a conference call and met with Dom (of Kate and Dom) whom we worked with. He was such a friendly, down to earth person from the start, and we immediately knew it was going to be great to work with him. And the photography spoke for itself. Dom was very organized,  spent time getting to know us, and made sure to ask us all the important questions in terms of what we were looking for. We not only used Dom (Kate Holt Photography) for our wedding but for our engagement and since, for maternity photos. We could go on and on given every part of working with them was wonderful so we will share one specific instance. When coordinating our engagement photos we selected a location and met Dom there. Upon arriving we encountered torrential rain but Dom was quick to offer flexibility and he drove over a hour to a new location so we could have the perfect photo shoot. As we started off, we can’t recommend Dom and Kate of Kate Holt Photography enough. We will be using them for all our future photo shoots!

On the day of they showed up early and got right to work with the details photos. They remained calm, cool, and professional during moments of chaos and family drama. They were essential to directing traffic and keeping the timeline. During the ceremony and reception they got any amazing photos of everyone. They were stealthy- positioning themselves where they wouldn't get in the way. Everyone attending made sure to tell me how kind and helpful they were throughout the night. Overall, they took the most beautiful photos of my husband and I that we will cherish forever. We highly recommend booking with them!

otographers! Not only are they an amazing and friendly team, but their pictures are literally STUNNING! They have such an eye for beautiful backgrounds, picking up on natural tones and light. Many of bridal party members and guests commented to us after the wedding how professional, fun, and non-intrusive they were, especially during the ceremony. They were super supportive along the way, offering clear directions and making sure we stuck to the planned photos and timeline. The candid photos they captured were also amazing, and we’ve had such a fun time sharing them with our guests! Sadly, we’re just not sure all 800+ of our favorite photos will be able to fit on our gallery wall :) You simply cannot go wrong with selecting Kate and Dom!

great at communicating. We were assigned Gabby for our wedding and she was amazing! She was so nice and helped us with so much throughout the day. We had a lot of rain and our venue was very spread out but Gabby found perfect picture spots and worked amazingly with the rain. to pose. As someone who always feel awkward in front of the camera, Kate made it so fun by teaching us the poses. We did our engagement session at the Vancouver Waterfront to get to know each other. Our actual wedding happened at The Foundry and it rained super heavy during the ceremony. Kate & Dom were troopers in the rain....they ran out to give umbrellas to our guests! They were drenched themselves, but did not complain at all. All my guests loved them! Our wedding was bigger than expected, but we got a picture with every single guest! Kate was super efficient with snapping while Dom read out the names. Kate was super good with the kids, getting them to look at the camera. We got our sneak peek photos and are absolutely in love. They have so much talent and I can't wait to order prints! Looking forward to seeing our full gallery soon.

has a gift for finding the best light, angles, and locations, and she made my husband and me feel so at ease and comfortable the whole day. We can't recommend her enough, she is incredible!

Her printed catalogues were very impressive, and captured the sense of magic we were after. As an art director I was looking for someone with an advanced sense of color correction and understanding of lighting, especially as we are an interracial couple and wanted to make sure the skin tones of our diverse guests were celebrated. We scheduled a virtual meeting afterward where we discussed all of the details, and Kate was very helpful in helping us solidify our vision for the day, and the overall feeling we wished to portray. Both our wedding ceremony and reception took place outdoors in a heavily wooded venue in the Columbia River Gorge with many areas of shade, full-sun, and dappled light, and to add to the complexity our wedding color palette included virtually every color of the rainbow, so we knew capturing everything in such conditions was not a small feat. On the wedding day Kate arrived at our airbnb to take candid getting-ready photos, then met us at the venue and proceeded to go above and beyond in every way, capturing everything from the smallest details of our tables capes to broad expanses of the sprawling venue, to intimate and meaningful moments between us and our guests. She was SO professional and friendly and it was immediately apparent that she was a master at her craft, adapting to changing situations and encouraging everyone (including the hard-to-corral youngest few of the wedding party!) the whole time. We had settled on a certain number of hours, but as the night went on and the celebration continued Kate kindly stayed on to continue photographing on an hourly basis which we were very thankful for. 

The results speak for themselves. Our gallery absolutely blew us away! Everything from our guests, the venue, the decor colors, and of course ourselves turned out so beautiful and vibrant, while still managing to retain a delicate and premium quality. As we looked through the photos, seeing the day for the first time through the eyes of a guest, we were moved to tears. We can honestly and full-heartedly recommend Kate to anyone who doesn’t want to take chances on one of the most important days of their lives. best decisions we could have made!! From the start of meeting with her, she was so professional, easy going, and would go the extra mile for us! She offered us very fair pricing, and was truly worth every penny! We loved having our engagement shoot with her. She was happy to travel, helping pick out the spots that would be best for us that fit our personality, and made us feel very comfortable throughout the shoot. Not only did we get great photos from it, but we look back at the engagement shoot as one of our favorite day! She was happy to meet with us ahead of time to make sure we were aligned on goals, always showed up early and would help stay around to make sure that we got what we needed captured! We decided later to hire her for our rehearsal dinner as well, and we are so glad that we did! She was so kind in organizing our family and bridal party to take photos, and even brought us outside for an impromptu photo shoot which are now some of my favorite shots :) Even when our timeline for wedding day got thrown off after Beauty took longer than expected, Kate came to the rescue by re-organizing her plan for the photos, and made up extra time by working quickly (but still got all of the shots!) so that we could start our wedding on time. Not to mention, she was SO quick in delivering our photos to us- a large amount of preview photos 2 days after our wedding, and the rest of the photos VERY fast after! All extremely quality, well captured and edited photos. We were blown away and so appreciative. Kate has a professionalism and hard work ethic about her, combined with a fun spirited personality, that makes for a perfect wedding photographer! She truly made us feel like family and not just another “number”. We would highly recommend her for your next event!

We did an engagement session with Kate and Dom that was gorgeous and my then fiancé felt so much better about all the wedding photos after the engagement session. We were also able to have Kate photograph the rehearsal dinner to capture the gorgeous views there. Kate had never photographed at our wedding venue before, so she came out during the rehearsal to see around the venue an scout spots for the next day. We even got a few extra couples photos while she was out there! The photos are amazing and the hardest part is deciding which ones to print because we want them all! Absolutely would recommend!

to work with us. Dom helped with figuring out the perfect package for us considering we were doing a microwedding (20 people). I was bummed at first to hear they were booked for our wedding date but then we got to meet one of their other photographers, Noah. He was so friendly, nice, and easy to work with. We bonded when we took engagement photos. He made taking photos super easy which was great considering we are not the most photogenic couple. To top it all off, right after we booked with Kate Holt Photography, they sent us a package with a wedding planner, vow books, and tips/tricks for wedding planning. It was super awesome and helpful. Then we were lucky enough to get to work with Noah for our wedding day. He was the ultimate hype man which I really needed. He helped relieve the anxiety of my husband and I. He also helped coordinate a lot of the small details with our venue manager. He shielded me from being seen by my husband before our first look as well as when some of my guests started to arrive. He helped my mom bussel up my dress when my mom could not figure it out. Our family and friends were all extremely impressed with Noah as well. I can’t say thank you enough. Noah’s extremely talented and I hope to work with him again in the future. Plus the photographs came out AMAZING to top it all off. 100% recommend!

When my fiancé and I reached out to Kate, they we initially interacted with her husband (and business partner), Dom. He gave off similar kind and knowledgeable vibes. The first step was to confirm if we would all be a good fit to work together, as well as which photographer and package options we wanted and/or could afford. While quality wedding photography is not cheap, comparatively we found that their pricing was competitive, even reasonable in comparison to other photographers whose work we liked. We ended up with Kate being the one to photograph our wedding, and we (and all our family and friends who interacted with Kate) felt like both before the wedding day, but especially during the day of that she went above and beyond in big and small ways in her role and contribution to our special day. Cannot recommend Kate and Dom and their company highly enough.

Dom were so wonderful to work with, we couldn’t imagine having our wedding with any other photographers! My husband was worried about feeling comfortable in front of the camera, but Kate was always excited to see us and gave great tips about posing. She made us feel and look beautiful and comfortable the whole day. We couldn’t wipe the smiles off of our faces and were able to concentrate on our happiness rather than worrying about how our pictures would turn out. She captured every detail to perfection, so we can relive the little things we worked hard to plan or didn’t have time to focus on. She returned our sneak peeks even faster than normal, at the request of my mother-in-law, just so she could show her friends who were unable to come to the wedding.
