After some not so great trials, and not feeling anything like myself, I was so happy to find Kate! She is truly the sweetest person and made me feel like myself and so beautiful! I got so many compliments on my makeup, and it stood up to the test of time! It was still perfect after nearly 12 hours, and it didn't feel like I had anything on my face! Kate will be my go to for any future makeup needs!

Kate truly was and is incredible. During my preview she made me feel so comfortable and it truly felt as if I have known her for years. Some of my bridal party has never had a professional do their makeup before, so this was a first for them and they were a little nervous. On my wedding day to say she knocked it out of the park would be an understatement. She made each and every one of my girls feel incredible! Yes of course, my makeup looked bomb, but watching my dearest friends and my mom love how they looked was beyond anything I could ask for. My makeup stayed ALL night and even lasted through a few tears during the first look and some more during the ceremony. Kate is THE BEST EVER! Not only is she hella talented at her job - I’ve seriously never felt more beautiful in my life and still looked like me, just elevated! Natural beautiful makeup is her specialty. But she is also real and down to earth. She is everything I wanted in a makeup artist!! One of my bridemaids wanted cat eye type eye shadow and Kate worked on it until my friend loved it! She was also super sweet to everyone she interacted with. I cannot recommend Kate enough !!! I booked Katlyn for my wedding and I am SO glad I did!!! She was helpful from the start when I explained we didn't have as much time for getting ready before the ceremony. After getting all the details, she created a timeline that synced perfectly with the hair stylist (she sent me several drafts and worked really hard with me to get it right). She was so sweet during my trial with helping me create my perfect look. She took time to understand my vision, and also suggested ahead of time to look at inspo pics that look like me for a realistic approach. On my wedding day she kept us on/ahead of schedule, which was amazing since we had a tight schedule to work with. She is incredibly organized and works very efficiently. Our makeup was STUNNING!!! She did such an amazing job on me, my 3 bridesmaids, and MIL. I couldn't believe how beautiful my makeup still was at the end of the night. It held up through all the food, drinks, sweat, and dancing! I received so many compliments and I felt like a million bucks. Overall, Katlyn was a gem to work with. Katlyn was incredible - I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I requested a natural, blushy, "you but better" look that was polished and glowy but not overdone. She absolutely nailed it! My trial was such an enjoyable experience, too - she tinkered with a couple of things as needed until we achieved the perfect result. She was prompt on the day of and we even finished everyone's makeup ahead of schedule. I felt beautiful and my face was intact all day, even through an extremely humid day and a ceremony with no AC. My bridesmaids and mom also looked amazing and had nothing but great things to say. Her client photos speak for themselves - you cannot go wrong with her!

A absolute professional! Highly recommend. Kate did a fantastic job of putting my fears at ease. It was not easy for me to relax and go with the flow.. I was really worried about my wedding makeup! Kate really listened to me after our trial . She heard my concerns and my ideas and did not judge! She came up with a beautiful look for me on my wedding day. I also did not have to worry about a thing in regards to timeline , payment etc. She coordinated on her own with my hair stylist and sent me the schedule for myself and my wedding party . When every detail matters and so much to handle as a bride, it’s so great to have a professional that does not need guidance. Took the lead!

I never wear makeup, so finding a makeup artist was a little daunting for me. When I saw pictures of Katlyn’s makeup, I immediately booked with her! She captured that sweet, natural look that I wanted for my bridesmaids and I for my wedding and I couldn’t be happier! Several of my bridesmaids also said that of all the weddings they’ve been in, this is the first time they truly loved how their makeup looked. Katlyn was awesome to work with. She was at the venue before I was, already working on my bridal party! I gave her literally nothing to work with as I don't know much about makeup and was open to a lot at my trial. She enhanced my best features and made my eyes pop! I have brown eyes and she used colors to not only make them look amazing, but they also went with my dark and moody wedding theme. My bridal party and the moms looked amazing. She was also so nice and easy to talk to, honestly, shes like a friend you're catching up with. I highly recommend, it was a joy to work with her!

Katlyn is AMAZING! She is so talented and really makes makeup look natural. I had a full face of makeup and it looked so beautiful and not cakey at all. I was really worried at first because I have texture from acne scars but she listened to me and made sure I felt comfortable with the entire process. All of my bridesmaids and even my grandmother had their makeup done by Katlyn and we all looked stunning! Would recommend her to anyone!

I first worked with Katlyn as a bridesmaid at my best friend’s wedding and was absolutely STUNNED to see we finished makeup/hair AHEAD OF SCHEDULE?! Kate was professional, caring, and an easy person to work with for my bridal makeup. She was very flexible in setting up a time and place to do my makeup trial. Her response time was like no other vendor I worked with. She responded right away and always answered all my questions. She listened to what I wanted and provided exactly what I was looking for. Wow. Where do I even start? Kate was fantastic to work with since day 1 (literally). She is awesome and so flexible. My makeup for the trial and for my wedding was flawless. She was able to do makeup for myself and 6 others on my wedding day on top of 3 “others” that were unplanned: my now husband (who was hit in the head with a flyswatter the night before our wedding and had a large red welt on his head), my father in law (who cut his face shaving the morning of) and my flower girl (who just wanted some eyeshadow and lip gloss). She handled everything like a boss. She was able to get all of us ready with plenty of time to spare. I still can’t get over how awesome she did on all of our makeup, even with concealing the men’s facial mishaps. My mom (who is quite the critic of makeup and eyelashes) absolutely LOVED her makeup and was very impressed. Katlyn, you are amazing! Thank you so much for all your hard working in making us all look beautiful for my big day! I love you!

Omg I can't say enough good things about Kate K Beauty! When reaching out to various hair and makeup artists, Kate stood out to me for being super responsive and down to earth. You could tell she was personally responding and not copying and pasting a generic response (which I totally got from other companies). I decided to go with her for hair and makeup for my wedding and I'm really happy I did. She is very professional, showed up on time and made sure we stuck to our schedule, and didn't take anything personally when I wanted something fixed or changed (I switched things up and wanted winged eyeliner day of my wedding but didn't do it for the trial). We also had a pretty last minute change of location for getting ready bc our venue was being difficult, and she couldn't have been more accommodating. I can honestly say she was the nicest wedding vendor I worked with!!

Trusting a vendor for your special day can be little stressful, I 100% trusted Katlyn and I couldn’t of asked for a better look. For someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup it was very hard to find a makeup artist that would do more of natural look and I for sure wanted to stay away from the smokey eye. Katlyn was professional, organized, did exactly want I asked for, friendly, clean, understanding, the list could go on. She started my day off the way it should for every bride. When I first started planning our wedding I told myself that I only wanted to be surrounded by people who made me feel good, calm, and happy on my wedding day. I was looking for those good vibes & when I had my first email exchange with Kate I received those GOOD GOOD vibes right away. She was so quick to respond to my emails and was so warm and friendly right off the bat. She has a perfect balance of being professional but also making you feel like a bestie. Kate's talent is also off the charts. I told her the most important thing to me was to look and feel like myself on my wedding day and she understood the assignment. I felt so incredibly beautiful but still felt completely myself. She has a calming presence about her that makes you calm which is what every bride needs. Plus she and her team finished an HOUR early with early with hair and makeup! (the best way to keep a bride calm and happy) She did such an amazing job that one of my bridesmaids who is getting married next year book Kate the day after my wedding. When I say that Kate is magical, I mean it. I cannot possibly say enough good things about what an amazing experience I had with her as my makeup artist. A girl wants to look like a glowing, ethereal fairy princess on her wedding, am I right? Check: Kate can and will do it. I had 7 ladies getting ready with me on my wedding day and Kate made sure all of them looked stunning, but also in a natural way that already highlighted their beauty. I had no specific instructions for my bridesmaids’ makeup, but Kate was able to tie them all together with similar shades of eye shadow and lipstick, while still focusing on each individual’s best features. And when it came to my makeup - LET ME TELL YOU. If you’re worried about cakey foundation, or feeling like you’ve been over-done and don’t quite look like yourself, you NEED to hire Kate! Not only did I feel like a major babe, all of my makeup was weightless and I looked and felt like the most beautiful version of myself (I think it was the eyelashes). My makeup stayed ALL DAY; through the pictures we took outside, the happy tears at the alter, and even the surprise nosebleed during my reception (stupid allergies). I swear, I looked just as good at midnight as I did at noon. If this hasn’t convinced you to hire Kate, at least ask her for a trial. I promise, you’ll fall in love with her right then and there. Katlyn easily stood out from all of the rest, and I knew right away that she would be the perfect fit for my wedding day! Katlyn is an excellent communicator and checked in frequently with me to confirm details and make sure that I was happy with my bridal makeup. I sent her inspiration photos and she created a look that was perfect for me! Even after my trial, Katlyn followed up to see if my makeup lasted throughout the day and if I wanted to make any changes. She is so flexible and worked hard to ensure that I loved how I looked! Katlyn and Natalie are the absolute best. I live out of state so all of the planning was done via email. Katlyn was very responsive and professional. I knew that I wanted to work with her after the first email and I’m so happy that she was available! You can tell that Katlyn truly loves what she does. She is so talented.
