y first conversation we had with her, she was so incredibly kind and responsive. She really takes the time to listen to your vision and what you want as a couple. She truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was how we dreamed it. She is incredibly professional and extremely talented. She KNOWS how to get the shot!!!!! Her work is so beautiful and bright- truly captured the magic of a wedding day perfectly. She is as able to get the classic, timeless shots but also so many candid shots that felt like they really told the story of our day. She had two other people with her on wedding day which ensured everything went so smoothly and in addition to photos, they captured so many behind the scene videos that we absolutely LOVED!!!! We will cherish these photos forever. Cannot recommend Kate enough!!!!!! 100/10!!

She also has a team of two photographers and someone to capture content on the day of the wedding, and her, and all of her team are wonderful people inside and out. When it rained on our engagement photoshoot day, she let us reschedule without any pause and was so kind about it. She makes you feel at ease when shooting your photos and made everyone feel included. I cannot recommend her enough. 10/10!

d always available to answer her questions. When I saw the engagement photos, I knew Kate was the right choice. Wow! The engagement photos were stunning! This is a great way for the photographer to know the couple and the couple to know the photographer. No surprise meet the photographer the day of the wedding. Kate also met us at the venue months before to know the grounds and locations for the perfect shot. Even the time of sunset was known for the perfect twilight photos. Kate helped coordinate the timeline. The day of the wedding, Kate had two assistants with her. All three photographers worked together and were the kindest, nicest women. All three were professional and handled certain "family dynamics" discretely. We were shown a few shots at the reception and I had tears because I knew Kate caught great memories of a beautiful day. When I saw the photos in the gallery, I was blown away by the amazing photos. As Mother of the Bride, would I recommend Kate Legters?? Yes! A thousand times yes!

Kate was very responsive to every question I had leading up to the big day and helped create our wedding day timeline. Bobbi Sue and Morgan helped Kate capture our wedding day. I’m so glad Kate had Bobbi Sue and Morgan to get different angles and go through our shot list efficiently. We received our wedding day gallery 5 weeks after our wedding and the photos are perfect. Kate responded quickly to my inquiry and was super informative and personable. She offered to meet with us before finalizing everything and was flexible with dates and times which I very much appreciate. About a week or so after we signed our contract and paid our retainer fee we received the cutest most thoughtful package in the mail that included an insanely unique luxe magazine that goes over so many pertinent wedding details and tips. It was extremely helpful and useful in more ways than just a wedding photography aspect. It quickly became transparent that Kate genuinely cared about our wedding as a whole and not just from a photographer standpoint. She is also knowledgeable on other wedding details and vendors outside of photography if you need insight or recommendations (which is helpful to have) She frequently “checked-in” to see how things were going and really made the effort to keep the line of communication open after we secured her for our date—she was one of our first vendors booked so the fact that our wedding was on her radar a whole year in advance was so comforting and reassuring. Solid communication with your wedding vendors is huge and Kate was exceptionally great at that! Our engagement shoot was a blast and she 1000% understood the assignment. I wanted a city elopement vibe and she and Morgan killed it! The idea of getting in front of a camera to take some of the most important photos you will have in your life can be nerve racking however, very soon after we started the nerves were gone. Kate's approach is exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. She guides and prompts you yet still leaves plenty of room for what I like to call the candid magic. On the day of, Kate and her team showed up ready to go. Unlike myself who has never been through the process of being a bride, it was very apparent that this was not their first rodeo. One of my favorite things about Kate is that she would ask me for my opinion on things or run something by me and my response was always “I trust you. Whatever you think, I trust you. Tell us what to do and we will do it!” Having that kind of confidence and trust in someone who is capturing some of the most raw and important moments you will have in your lifetime is exactly what you want and need on your wedding day. Aside from how badass she is, her photos and what she is able to capture from behind her lens are immaculate and if I could go back and do it all over again I would still elect Kate to be a part of my team! photo locations. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Kate made sure to meet all of our photography needs and delivered our gallery in a timely fashion. Even though we had only met once before the wedding, she was so easy and fun to work with, it felt like a friend was with us all day, which helped my husband and I to feel comfortable and be able to relax. I absolutely love our images and have gotten many compliments about them. My bridesmaids have even reached out to Kate to inquire for their own weddings. She does amazing work and I hope to be able to work with her again in the future.

Kate was so professional, organized, supportive, and definitely a planner - exactly the kind of photographer you want by your side on your wedding day. She was more than happy to answer questions or concerns I had about lighting, outfits for engagement sessions, flowers, best locations, what do to in case of rain, and the list goes on and on. I remember the first email she sent me when I reached out about her wedding day packages was so detailed and friendly compared to other photographers I reached out to. At that point, I knew from her communication style that she would be a joy to work with. You can tell Kate loves photography and is always up for a challenge! Despite her bright editing style, I really wanted to do an engagement session in a dark library. Kate was all for it and did an amazing job. Kate made us feel very comfortable and gave us the direction we needed for BEAUTIFUL engagement and wedding photos that I'm so excited about!
