A photographer was one of the only splurges I was willing to make on my wedding and I could not have picked a better person! The pictures were exactly what I envisioned. She is absolutely professional but still makes you feel like a good friend who is a part of the wedding.

Kate was incredible! Leading up to our wedding, she was in constant communication with us to ensure she knew our “photo vision.” We told Kate the photos we wanted to be taken at the church and at the reception and she completed them all in a timely fashion! We got to enjoy our entire cocktail hour with our guests (because Kate was so good with knowing what the next photo was) which was so important to us! Throughout the day and night, I caught her taking some of the best photos and capturing so many special memories. Choosing Kate to be our photographer was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning! From engagement shoot to wedding day, Kate was extremely responsive. She has a comfortable, calm, and confident vibe to her that was exactly what we wanted during our engagement shoot and wedding. As for our engagement shoot, the day we had scheduled was calling for storms. Kate seamlessly suggested rescheduling in advance, so we did not have to deal with any anxiety about the weather, which was much appreciated! Leading up to the wedding we had a planning call, where we discuss what was important to us (minimal posed, lots of candids, and lots of partying!). On the wedding day, Kate tailored the day to exactly those things. She was very organized and efficient with getting us through the necessary formal pictures. And her second shooter was fantastic! What drew us to Kate's work was her ability to capture raw emotions in so many of her shots. That is 100% what we received from her work. I actually had someone comment on our wedding photos saying "you can almost hear the joy in these photos!". Overall, Kate is an awesome person and fantastic to work with. We are still receiving compliments from family and friends! I would absolutely recommend her.

Kate was honestly amazing... I can't imagine working with anyone else. She is incredibly perceptive and understood us as a couple, the vision we had for our wedding, and what we wanted out of our wedding pictures immediately. She takes her job seriously, fully considering every idea (even the crazy ones!) we had, and even visited our venue with us a month before the wedding to scout out the best picture locations. And of course the day of, every time I felt like, "I want to hold on to this moment forever," there was Kate, capturing it. And the final product was simply stunning. So many incredible photos, expertly capturing each emotion and moment, and the beautiful landscape of our venue.

Kate was wonderful to work with and took beautiful photos of our ceremony and cocktail party! She also took beautiful photographs of my husband and I around the outdoor venue we were at. We were not goi g to hire a photographer originally and changed our mind three days beforehand. Someone recommended Kate and she was luckily available. She agreed to just shoot a couple hours and understood exactly what we were looking for. We are so glad we met her and highly recommend!!

Kate was amazing and perfect for our wedding - I cannot recommend her enough! She communicated with us throughout the entire process, and was very quick to respond to emails and phone calls as needed. We were planning a wedding from several states away, and she was flexible and helpful with her knowledge of our venue and the area. Our families and friends LOVE the photographs. She took a great mix of traditional shots with several priceless candids. Kate was great at getting photographs without it feeling too staged - I didn't even realize she was around for some of the photographs she took. She made me feel completely at ease with the posed shots (I prefer to be behind the camera than in front of it), and her composition and use of light and colors is beautiful. I am so thankful we had Kate to document our beautiful day!

Kate was a boss from Day 1 and helped us arrange all of our engagement/wedding photo needs. She traveled to NYC on short notice to take advantage of a sunny day and always provided her best ideas for our shots. The day of our wedding she knocked out of the park, and her assistant for the day was fantastic as well. Thank you so much again!

As my husband and I prepared for our wedding, I dreaded picking a photographer. As someone who hates getting their picture taken, I couldn’t stand the idea of being in front of a camera all day. Once I talked to Katie;however, I was instantly at ease. She was fun, flexible, professional, yet laid back. On the day of the wedding, she was on time and came with great energy! She felt more like a friend than a photographer. My husband and I could not have been more thrilled with the images. Kate was wonderful to work with and I am so happy we chose her for our wedding photographer! Her laid back personality set the tone for for all of the photography. Simply put, Kate was amazing. When my (now) wife and I met with Kate, we instantly knew she was going to be the photographer for us. Her reviews were great, and her book was top notch. Stylistically she had a ton of range and was exactly what we were looking for. Leading up to the wedding, she was professional, responsive, and a big help. She really took our vision and ran with it. At the wedding, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staged photos beforehand all went smoothly and quickly. During the ceremony, she got every picture we could have asked for and more. And during the group photos after she made it through our extensively photo list quickly without feeling rushed. She has a great eye for location and picked some beautiful spots. During the reception, Kate and her assistant were seemingly everywhere without being noticed. She captured some amazing candids of just about everyone in attendance. We've been giving these pictures as gifts for well over a year now! Kate also has a really great eye for lighting. Visit her facebook or instagram and you can see what I mean. She took some absolute stunners of us on the patio of our venue just as the sun set and the outdoor lights came on. It's probably the best picture ever taken of me. After the wedding, she was very expedient in getting us our proofs back. We only waited a few weeks and, boom, there they were. It was like reliving that night all over again :) The proofs that we ordered were great and the book that we got from her will be cherished for the rest of our lives. We even splurged and got 2 giant photos framed for our wall. Her photography will be gracing our home for the foreseeable future. I would have rated her higher, but I can only give 5 stars. I would highly highly highly recommend Kate.

From a business standpoint, Kate was proactive in staying on top of key dates, deadlines and specific requests. We found her from attending a friends wedding she had shot a couple of years before ours and asked for her name and contact info because we liked what we saw. As a photographer, she does an excellent job at capturing more natural style pictures (in addition to the usual posed pictures) during the event. We hired her for an engagement shoot and as our wedding day photographer (she also had an assistant/second camera for the wedding that did a nice job as well) - we were very pleased with her work and timeliness in delivering the final pictures to us. Overall, very fun, personable and easy to work with. 10/10 would recommend.

I have, quite possibly, the most beautiful wedding photo album of all time. Not only is Kate a dream to work with, so calming and wonderful, but she takes unbelievable photographs. She managed to capture all of the beauty of our special day as well as the emotions that everyone was experiencing. There are not enough words to express how grateful we were to have Kate as our photographer for our wedding. Although is being a year since we said I do....I have such great memories thanks to Kate. The engament session was so relaxed, she made us feel confortable. We didn't even feel we were in a photo session. But what i liked the most is that kate made sure to capture all the right moments, so natural....she nailed them...Kate has a great eye and vision. My wedding photos were stunning. What impressed me was that the camera that Kate used had no flash which did not interfere with the video camara's light. I though that was awesome because all the pictures were bright, perfect. When i watched my wedding video i did not see any flashes popping. Overall kate does a great job, i would definitely hire her services again.

Kate photographed our Jersey City wedding in 2011 and did a wonderful job! It was a very, very hot summer day, yet you would never know it from looking at the photographs. She was calm and cool throughout the day as we visited a few different locations to take photos, and she captured some very special moments that we still treasure today, five years later. Kate was our wedding photographer for a winter wedding and she did a fabulous job! The portraits and the candid shots were both beautiful and captured the feel of our wedding perfectly. Kate is such a pro! We truly couldn't have been happier with how our wedding photos turned out although neither of us were surprised at how much we loved them knowing that we put Kate in charge. She completely put us at ease from the moment we started our engagement shoot and we had so much fun shooting around the city with her and we knew we had made the right decision for our wedding. My wife and I spent a lot of time trying to find the photographer that we wanted to work with, and we couldn’t have been more lucky to have found Kate. Kate was very helpful and provided great suggestions to us from the start. We even did our engagement pictures with Kate in New Hope. Kate was absolutely amazing. She was professional, really fun and comfortable to be around. Our wedding day was captured just how we wanted. I love that she had me give her a list of any specific shots I wanted so she would be sure not to miss them. She managed to get all the photos I could have wanted without intruding on the day at all. Having never had a professional photographer before I was worried I would get annoyed by always being dragged away from the reception to take pictures. That couldn't have been farther from the truth. She managed to always grab the picture at just the right moment and I never felt for a second like I was being interrupted or missing the party. Kate Leigh came very highly recommended by both of my sisters-in-law, who'd also used her for their weddings. I'd seen their beautiful photo albums, but since I'm an A-type perfectionist, I still did an extensive amount of research and met with other photographers to get a sense of what was out there. I also spent hours on Kate's website, looking through her blog photos. They're absolutely captivating - - no one even came close. None of the cheesy, posed shots. Very artsy, very natural. So, we decided to continue the family tradition and use her for our wedding as well. Having seen her work, we fully expected that our wedding photos would be just as good. But nothing prepared us for just how incredibly beautiful they would be. We were blown away - - they were simply perfect. Kate truly has a gift. She captured so many intimate, special moments from so many unique angles. The most difficult thing for us was actually narrowing down the photos we wanted in our album because there were so many great ones from which to choose. Another notable thing about Kate is that she has an uncanny, unobtrusive way of blending into the crowd, so we never really realized that she was there, snapping away. She has such a calming presence and a wonderful, easygoing personality - - exactly who you'd want by your side on the most important day of your life. Yet, she was still able to somehow control our large wedding party and to get all of the formal shots that we'd requested in a relatively short period of time between the wedding and reception. I used Katie as my wedding photographer and could not be happier with that choice! She not only took the most amazing photos that I will forever cherish, but she was also so professional and made me so relaxed the day of the wedding. I am not the biggest fan of having my photo taken and she was able to make me feel so comfortable. It is such an intimate day, and the photographer is there for everything, so having to work with someone you are comfortable with is so key! As for the pictures afterwards, they are amazing. And during the whole process she was so great about emailing me back right away, which is such a help when you are emailing so many vendors. I would absolutely recommend Kate Leigh Photography! Kate is an amazing photographer and such a sweet person! We met and chatted before the wedding and she really took in what I was looking for. She was never in the way on the wedding day and was able to envision photo ideas on the spot that I would have never thought of. I also felt very comfortable in front of the camera with her. All of my family members and bridal party commented on how great she was to work with and how quickly we were able to get through formal photos. While she is more pricey than other photographers I was looking at, it was truly worth the money in the end. I will cherish the photos forever. It is going to be very hard to pick out which ones I want in my album!

Due to the demands of our jobs, my husband and I were not easy to reach and had to shift things around as we planned our wedding. Kate easily went with the flow, accommodating our needs. One thing that was very important to me was to select a photographer who would have a nice presence on the day of our wedding and Kate was a joy to be around. Quite simply, she provided an outstanding service in every way. Kate was absolutely fantastic to work with. She shot both our engagement and wedding photos and could not have been more easy going or professional. We LOVED Kate. She is such a warm, professional and personable photographer. She was a pleasure to work with from our engagement photos, to the wedding and afterwards creating our Album. Photography was our highest priority for our wedding. Since we were spending a lot of money on one day, we wanted great photos to remember everything. We were beyond thrilled with the results. We’ve received many comments from our friends and family that our pictures look like advertisements in magazines, and some of them have asked if we would submit them for contests. We wanted classy, unique but elegant pictures, and that’s exactly what we got. The style is mature and intimate, and they really tell our story well. Kate was great to work with, too. She really took the time to listen to what we were looking for in our photography and made helpful suggestions. She also understood our budget limitations and worked with us to create a package that covered everything we wanted but didn’t break the bank. She was very flexible. We had an engagement session with her, which was a lot of fun, and not awkward at all. She was creative, taking us to various scenic locations and asking us to just have fun together and be us, and the pictures were fantastic. For the wedding, we had two shooters, Kate and a partner, who was also outstanding. No one even realized they were there because they blended into the background so well, but they still got all the major shots and some great unexpected ones. It’s amazing all the things they captured that we didn’t notice because we were so busy and the day went by so fast. Kate posted all of our pictures online about a week after the wedding. It was so difficult to decide on pictures for our album because they were all so good, but once we did, it didn’t take long at all for her to design and produce the album which is absolutely gorgeous.
