We are so happy with our decision to hire Kate! Neither me nor my husband are too comfortable in front of the camera and in fact, we even toyed with the idea of not having a photographer at all, but I am SO glad we changed our minds. Looking at the photos now I cannot even imagine not having them. Kate did a fantastic job of capturing the day and really telling a story. She was so good at putting us at ease and just making sure we had a good time and looked like ourselves. She was also able to find us a beautiful spot for our photos despite a rather last-minute venue change due to COVID. It is such a treat to be able to share such great photos with all our friends and family – many of which were not able to be there in the first place. My wife and I met Kate at a same-sex friendly wedding show and we knew right away her style stood out from all the rest. All the couples in her photos looked like real people. The way Kate captures the unique features, character and chemistry of the couple made having her our photographer a no-brainer. We won an engagement shoot with Kate which was incredibly generous of her! My wife and I weren’t sure how it would feel having someone with a lens up in our business during those intimate moments but with Kate we felt safe, respected and free to be completely ourselves! We hired her that day to shoot our wedding and the photos are better than we could have ever expected. She’s professional, went above and beyond to ensure we had all the shots we requested the day of and was on top of all communication before we even hired her all the way through the end. Everyone who has seen the photos comment how they wish they would’ve went the extra mile for their own wedding and hiring a photographer. I promise you won’t be disappointed! Would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

It can be overwhelming finding that one photographer for your wedding, but Kate did an amazing job fulfilling several things I needed. For one, she was within budget, and even when I had difficulties with my job change, she was willing to work with me to ensure I was able to have a photographer at my wedding. Second, she takes beautiful and creative liberty with her photos that are unique to her style and highlighted those special moments between me and my husband. She has a survey that she has you fill out to detail any specific types of photos you need, if pictures of guests need to be taken, if specific family members need to be emphasized, if she needs to work with time constraints. Definitely be specific, because she will work with you! Third, she has a personality you can jive with. Just easy-going, understanding, and communicative. Finding the right photographer was a long process for us. We aren't big on posed wedding photos and had been pretty unimpressed by the photos from many of the wedding we attended previously. Kate was suggested to us by our coordinator, and this was actually the best thing our coordinator did for us. Kate was perfect to work with. We immediately clicked with her when we met and that's so important since this is the person who is gonna be all up in your business trying to take good photos of you under pretty stressful conditions. Her pricing is straightforward and more than fair. We also did our engagement shoot with her and the photos were so good that it made us more excited for what we'd get on the wedding day! Kate has a great eye for capturing the best moments, even when you have no idea it's happening. Our photos from the wedding were everything we'd hoped for! She captured our personalities and the energy of the day perfectly. Our wedding was definitely over the top and we couldn't be happier with our choice to have Kate capture it. Her chill demeanor was also the perfect remedy for our stress throughout the day. Photos are the only thing you'll have after the wedding is over, so you really need to take care to find the right person. Kate fit us perfectly and we are thrilled with the results. We highly recommend her to everyone except people who like boring posed generic photos.

We had a great experience working with Kate. She worked with us when we had a wedding date change due to my sister/maid of honor getting pregnant which was a life saver. Her assistant Sara ended up taking our wedding photo's and she did an incredible job. The picture are absolutely beautiful and something we will look back on forever.

I can't say enough good things about Kate! She is an absolutely amazing photographer and a wonderful person as well. She photographed my engagement photos (over a year ago) and my wedding in August with an assistant, and seriously all of the photos (and there are over 800 from the wedding) are SO beautiful. Kate does a great job of capturing candid photos that are full of emotion, and they bring me right back to our wedding day every time I look at them. She seemed to understand our vision for the day within a short time of meeting us, and our photos definitely reflect that vision. If Kate’s incredible photography isn’t enough to sell you, she’s also a wonderful vendor to work with. During our wedding, Kate made sure we took all the photos we wanted within the timeline we discussed, and she was fun to work with as well! During the reception, I honestly forgot we were even being photographed, and Kate caught some great candid photos of us dancing etc. Throughout the process, she was extremely responsive and very organized—I never had to remind her of any detail we had discussed, no matter how small. Kate also recommended other excellent vendors to me when I asked for her input, and she patiently answered all my questions about timelines and other details. Her turn-around time on photos is also very impressive! I’m SO glad I hired Kate!

I really liked Kate from the moment I met her! Her free spirit was just what I wanted. She went out of her way to talk to us several times before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she was a calming influence. During the wedding and reception, I hardly noticed that she was shooting photos. As for her photos, they each were a work of art, beautiful and casual, yet elegant. It has been very difficult for us to choose what photos we want because they are all wonderful - the best wedding photos I have ever seen. I highly recommend her for your special event!

Katie's work as our wedding photographer was nothing short of a dream come true. She is without a doubt the best wedding photographer in Colorado, and most likely one of the top photographers in the country. First, working with Katie couldn't have been easier or more enjoyable--she responds quickly and is ultra-organized. She provided us with all of the information and photo planning we needed throughout the process. And she did all of this in a way that made it feel like we hardly had to do anything. Our wedding timeline was a little hazy-- we weren't sure about several details up until the very last minute and some of the timing was pretty precarious. But Katie handled all of this with absolute care and ease. Not to mention, Katie provided us with a ton of support and spot-on advice for nearly every other aspect of our wedding. Second, Katie captured my partner and I's relationship in a truly stunning way. Her photos of all the tiny details, from my shoes to the centerpieces to the surrounding woodsy venue, are like exquisite little gems. She made the posed family shots feel like a breeze. Both Katie and her second shooter melted effortlessly into the background of our wedding--I hardly even noticed them. She captured some truly gorgeous candid shots of my partner and me and our loved ones. I half-jokingly, half-dead-seriously told Katie I wanted a "magical forest fairy" vibe for our photos. Katie's work went above and beyond that. Her photos are dripping with light and glowing, sun-dappled aspens and fields. There are so many jaw-dropping photos of my partner and me that I honestly don't even know where to begin when choosing one or two to frame for our home. This is definitely the best type of wedding photography problem to have! Finally, Katie is the chillest and most genuine, loving person. Just her presence throughout the planning process and on the wedding day made me feel like everything was going to be okay. It is clear from our photos that every single one was taken with love and the highest attention to detail. Her photos of our wedding made both myself and my partner feel totally seen, understood, and celebrated.

Where do we even begin with Kate!? Kate really connected with us, including our puppies (who are basically our children). She made us feel comfortable and was patient when my dogs weren't wanting to cooperate! 😂 we can't wait to see the photos that she took on our wedding day!!!

Goodness, where do I even begin? Kate shot our wedding in November (I know… I’m not the promptest review-writer) and she was incredible to work with. Since we were planning our wedding from out of state, we secured Kate’s services after some internet browsing and a phone conversation. Upon getting off the phone with her, I remember saying that I thought she would make everyone feel comfortable on the day of the wedding, something that seemed so important for getting the kinds of pictures we wanted. We met Kate in person once, about two months before the event, and we left that meeting feeling like she really had things under control; we were right to feel that way. We knew we wanted to do a first look, and Kate smartly suggested that we read our vows and exchange gifts during that time, giving us something to do, but also allowing us the privacy we felt strongly about having for those moments. The day of the wedding, our first look site was hosting an event we weren’t planning for, so Kate came up with a second idea for a nearby location that worked perfectly with our vision (and frankly, that may even have been better than our original). From there, we travelled to a mountain location where Kate assured us we would get great photos with the wedding party. We parked at a lookout spot, thinking that we would be taking pictures with the city view in the background. Instead, Kate pointed up a hill (piece of cake in tennis shoes, Olympic sport in a wedding dress and heels!), and up we all went. It was an adventure we won’t soon forget, but she knew what she was doing, and gave us the most stunning photos that surpassed any expectations. At the wedding itself, Kate was knowledgeable and professional. We have wonderful photos — formal and candid -- from our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and we only wish we had been able to keep her with us for longer into the night. Kate’s planning process and online system were simple, she was professional and communicative, and she got our final pictures to us within weeks (with two spectacular sneak peaks TWO days after our wedding). Now, we have the tough choice of choosing which of her incredible photos are our favorites — a task that won’t be easily completed. I know many people say this about their wedding photographer(s), but it’s true: Kate captured our day in a way in which we only hoped to be so fortunate to get to remember it. Thank you, Kate, for sharing your incredible gift! In short, if you are looking for a wedding photographer, we cannot recommend her enough. Her work speaks for itself, but if you’re having doubts, stop having them and book her. She was one of the best wedding decisions we made.

Where do I begin?! From the moment we met Kate we could tell she was super passionate about her work, down to earth, and a true listener. I already knew her work was stunning from her portfolio, but I am completely blown away with the images she captured from our wedding. We have only seen some sneak previews, but I am confident that every single image will be beyond beautiful. Kate has a knack for evoking feeling in her work. As I gaze at the images from my wedding I'm immediately taken back to that specific moment. Pure joy, elation, and love. A couple months after we hired Kate she hand wrote us a letter letting us know she was there if we needed anything and was so excited to work with us! No other vendor did that and it truly made an impact on me. She was always responsive and answered any questions or concerns we had and gave us such a peace of mind. I'm already thinking of the milestones in my life that will need capturing like 1 year anniversary, pregnancy, family portraits. I know who I'll be calling :)

Katie was incredible through out my entire process of wedding planning. She not only ensured that I got the shots I wanted for the wedding, but she contributed great ideas and ensured every candid shot was full of genuine emotion.
