lorist was up-front with me about the pricing and availability of certain flowers, I left feeling disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to have the bouquet I truly wanted. My mom suggested shopping for silk flowers, and I originally wrinkled my nose at the idea out of fear that it might look cheap or too DIY. I stumbled upon Kate Said Yes to Weddings through Pinterest and found several bouquets that I loved. I pinned a few of them and attended to other wedding details. It hit me shortly thereafter that I had less than 9 weeks left before my wedding, and I still didn't have bouquets ordered. I knew I wanted a bouquet from Kate, but worried that they wouldn't arrive in time. I immediately contacted Kate about the bouquet I wanted to purchase and also asked for a coordinating bouquet for my MOH and matching shotgun shell boutonniere for my fiance. She responded to my message within less than half an hour and put together a reserved order for me in her Etsy shop. I purchased the Peony Rose and Hydrangea Ivory and Blush Wedding Bouquet with Lamb's Ear and requested a burlap and lace wrap. Kate explained I would receive the proof in a few weeks and that I could expect my bouquet by early March, plenty of time before my wedding in early April. I received my package yesterday, more than a month early! The flowers are gorgeous! Each was carefully packaged so as not to be damaged in transit and everything arrived full and intact. The flowers are some of the most beautiful silk flowers I have ever seen. I look forward to being able to showcase them on my wedding day and future anniversaries.

ut the timeline I was able to order my bouquet, my MOH bouquet, and 2 bouts for the groom and best man. I would say about 1 month before the wedding I received photo proofs of everything that we ordered. The MOH bouquet was not what I ordered. And when I asked why I was told the stems were out of stock and so she find the closest replacement. Now this was after I had been told that first the ordered couldn't be completed on time (even though it said 6-8 weeks online) then that the stems were back in stock so my order could be made. So to hear that a judgement call was made one month out I was pretty bummed, I wish that would have been communicated from the beginning. In the end my MOH received a bouquet similar to what I had picked out, but it was still the wrong shade of blush peonies. Ultimately, my bouquet was exactly what I wanted and that's what matters. And I do accept some responsibility for deciding a little over 8 weeks before the wedding what I wanted to do with my flowers.
