ave the chance to meet Kate in person until our wedding day. We had a handful of phone conversations with her throughout our planning process, and we trusted and connected with her very easily. We felt she took time to really understand the low-key vibe we were looking for and made us feel confident in the joint vision we had. Our plans changed a few months out from our wedding in a big way. Originally we had plans for a ceremony of about 100 people and a 200+ person reception. We ended up scratching that whole plan and having a 45 person ceremony/reception combo at my family's lake property. This massive change was stressful and there were so many unknowns due to the pandemic. Kate was very flexible, immediately bought into the new plan, and was there to support us throughout. Her advice/guides/materials helped us establish the schedule of our day and plan the whole event - very helpful! On the day of our wedding we felt very comfortable during with Kate despite it being our first meeting. She jumped right in and captured our day beautifully. In our couples session we felt very at ease with her and she made the photo process very enjoyable and fun-not awkward at all. The photos turned out incredible and were very organic, timeless, and elegant just how we wanted. We will cherish them forever. al websites and photo albums, there was something that stood out to us with Kate's pictures. Even my dad said that they "spoke to him". We live out of state so I was worried about scheduling a time to meet her, but she was so flexible and willing to stay open late just for us. My husband and I instantly connected with Kate and booked right then and there. During the time between the initial meeting and the wedding, Kate was my biggest supporter and helped me develop a timeline that worked for all the picture times and little events we wanted to incorporate. Day of, she traveled to multiple locations to capture everyone getting ready, the church, and reception venue (some locations were 45min away) without any issues. A big "must have" for our pictures was a lot of outdoor portraits in the woods and golf course. The were a million mosquitos that weekend, but she came prepared!! She helped make the experience so fun even though we were being eaten alive. She helped make everything run so smooth throughout the entire day, and took some amazing pictures (every moment you want to have, and even some that I didn't know I needed to have) without seeming "in the way" or being intrusive. Following the big day, it was great to work with her to get our final pictures. There were SO MANY amazing pictures we couldn't believe it! So much wonderful emotion captured better than I could have ever hoped. She also made a beautiful album of our top pictures. It was a struggle to pick out our top 20, so she let us add a few more :). The album is beautiful and arrived within 3 months of the wedding, which is amazingly fast! I highly recommend Kate as your photographer. She's professional but very relatable, captures the most amazing pictures, helps make you feel normal in the "posey" pictures, makes beautiful albums, and is quick to get the pictures to you after the event. I can't wait for our next life event so we have another chance to get more pictures from Kate!

I was immediately drawn to the beautiful candid nature of her photos. Her photos truly tell a story and I knew she would do incredible work with our wedding. We had a second shooter along with Kate and Vicki was just as good as Kate. We are so glad we had a second shooter to capture all the extra angle shots but the only thing we would note is to make sure everyone in your group knows which photographer to look at. We knew to always look at Kate as the primary but we didn't do a good enough job of telling the rest of our group to always look at her so we had a lot of pictures where people are looking in the wrong direction. Both were creative in the photos they captured and in how they laid out some of our clothes and accessories to capture the details of the day. Both helped out in getting everyone ready and dressed and flowers on all the men. They also helped with all kinds of miscellaneous touchups throughout the day. Could not believe everything they were willing to jump in and help with. They did a great job of keeping us on time and on tasks without taking away from the day and the moment. Without them, we would not have had everyone ready and where they needed to be in order to get all the pictures they captured. Kate was extremely easy to work with and very flexible. She bent over backwards to help us out and make our day what we wanted it to be. Thank you so much for everything, Kate!

ht were talented. I knew that she would lead me to a quality and experienced photographer, she didn’t disappoint! The moment I saw Kate Senger’s photos, I knew she was the one for Ryan and I! I loved Kate's style and the way she captured the couple’s story. It was romantic yet raw at the same time. When I reached out to Kate to ask her some questions, she was extremely responsive. Our dog Grady, is without a doubt, our fur baby and it was extremely important for him to be included in our engagement and wedding photos. Kate handled it like a champ! After signing our contract with Kate, she started asking us where we would like to take our engagement photos and we gathered a list of places. Kate did her research to check out each place we had in mind and let us know one of the places had a certain date we needed to be there by. This was truly above the call of her duties. When it was finally time for us to take our engagement photos, Kate was great with making things feel very natural and was able to capture some amazing overcast lighting. Ryan and I were completely blown away with the details of the pictures and the beauty of her work. Even though Ryan and I were engaged for over a year, Kate was always sending emails to check in, which included a google sheet for family photos we wanted as well as any other particular photos we desired to have taken the day of our wedding. I loved the organization of this! The day of our wedding, Kate was at the church promptly waiting for myself and the bridesmaids. She grabbed my jewelry and my dress to get some quick snapshots before things got started. Ryan and I had decided that we weren’t going to do a “first look” until I was coming down the aisle and Kate respected that. The photos where Ryan finally saw me walking down the aisle, the raw emotion on his face Kate was able to convey, was absolutely breathtaking. I just love Kate’s style where she wants everyone to be natural and is able to capture your true self. I honestly forgot she was there because she blended into the background of things that day. That is exactly what an experienced photographer does flawlessly. Once it came time for the family photos and the bridal photos, Kate was able to direct people and made sure everyone knew who was next so they could be ready. We knocked out the photos fairly quick and were able to move onto our outside photos with our bridal party. The entire time we were all just having fun and having light-hearted conversations. Afterwards we were able to get some fun photos with us at a bar having a celebratory shot before the reception. After we had dinner, Kate snuck Ryan and I outside to get some more photos of just the two of us. I’m so glad she did because these photos summed up our magical day. We were both floating on cloud nine. Kate kept saying that we were naturals, but she made it so easy to be and we knew our love would be portrayed in the photos. Kate captured so much during our day and we are eternally grateful to have had her as our photographer. I am so confident in her abilities and I know you won’t regret it! She was so prompt when responding to our emails, and was always available if we needed help or had questions (I can't say we had the same experience with all the other vendors we worked with). One thing I will always remember is how stressed I was the month leading up to our wedding. Kate and I had a phone call to discuss our wedding timeline and one thing she said was if anything unforeseen happens during the wedding day we will get through it together and to not stress. After we received our wedding photos we decided to use some of the money we received as a wedding gift towards a wedding album. We received a ton of compliments on our Save the Dates/engagement pictures and have been able to display beautiful, professional photos throughout our house for decoration (vs. our typical selfies). Not only that, but when I brought up the idea of bringing our puppy along for the engagement session, Kate encouraged it and did an amazing job having us run around with Luna to get great photos of the 3 of us. And the most amazing part (besides how incredible the pictures turned out) is that Kate delivered our photo gallery to us within two business days after she found out we were hoping to use them for our Save The Dates! Deciding which picture to use was the most challenging part of the whole experience! We are a laid back couple so to feel the same vibe from our photographer was very important. I would have to say what really impressed me was our engagement photoshoot. It was a cold morning and I had no idea what I was doing but Kate directed us so well and assured us it will look great. Once we received the pictures I was amazed.
