Kate Smith Soirée

nish was amazing, we set up a tasting and were impressed with all of the flavors. It was hard to narrow it down! Once we chose the flavors, we allowed Kate to handle it from there. We were able to rent out the cake stand and cupcake displays which made it very easy to return. She had everything set up the day of the wedding and it was beautiful. Our guests loved the cupcakes! Highly recommend Kate Smith Soirée for your desserts!

n't have to worry about. She nailed it.

aged, and from start to finish, our experience with her was flawless. The desserts were stunningly beautiful, incredibly delicious, and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day. Every detail was executed perfectly — from the elegant display to the freshness and variety of flavors. Guests told us all night and are still talking about how good everything we got from her was! Delivery was right on time, the setup was so thoughtfully styled, and working with her was so pleasant! She is kind, professional, responsive, and made the entire process stress-free. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality and presentation we received. She met with us personally for a complimentary tasting prior to our wedding, and she completely brought our vision to life exactly as we asked — honestly even better than we imagined. If you’re considering them for your wedding or event, don’t hesitate. Worth every penny and more. She’s the best!!!!

Kate responds quickly and is easy to work with to make your big day as easy and smooth as possible.

ake pops that were a hit with adults and kids alike and mini cupcakes that were beautiful and delicious. We also had baked goods from her shop before the wedding and they were amazing! I highly recommend this bakery for all your sweet treat needs. Wonderful food, super helpful service, and a real win all around.

time! While working with them was easy, their desserts were the best! They were beautiful and delicious! Since we have had their macarons, we can not get enough of them and keep going back all the time just for a nice treat.

initely be back to purchase more!

ect. The process was super smooth and stress-free, which we really appreciated during such a busy time. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the desserts – the mini cupcakes, cake pops, cookie bars, and more were a huge hit. Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better! Kate was wonderful to work with from start to finish, and we’re so grateful for how she helped make our wedding so special. Highly recommend her for any event!

tried her cupcakes, we knew that this was our cake and dessert vendor. I remember our tasting as my favorite day of wedding planning! Kate was helping set up her desserts while the ceremony was starting and we needed someone to open the doors for my dad and I to walk down the aisle. She stopped what she was doing, hyped me up, and opened the doors for us. She is such a beautiful human and a badass bakery owner! We stop in once in a while for a sweet treat. What an awesome vendor, WE LOVE YOU!!!

, and she truly goes above and beyond. We chose a custom heart-shaped cake for our wedding, and it turned out even better than we imagined—it was stunning and delicious. The cake tasting was such a fun experience, and all of her flavors are both unique and incredibly tasty. I would highly recommend Kate Smith Soirée for any cake needs—she made our day that much sweeter!

my fiance a fantastic tasting where we could discuss what we wanted for the wedding. Also, her set up was super cute I definitely recommend doing a macaroon tower!

on a weirdly specific request I needed and made it an easy process. The cake was so tasty too! We also got a small macaroon tower which all the guests loved. The food is all so delicious and Kate is so lovely. Everyone should go check them out!!

e assignment. Everything looked incredible, tasted even better, and somehow struck that perfect balance of playful and elevated. Our guests were obsessed, people are still bringing up the cookies and bars weeks later. One guest even brought brownies home to Georgia and was still raving about them days later! One of the best parts of working with Kate was getting to do a tasting beforehand, such a fun (and delicious) perk. It made us even more excited for the big day, and helped us feel confident we were in the right hands. And the fact that she delivers and sets everything up? Incredible. It took so much pressure off, and everything looked stunning when we walked into the space. From the start, Kate was so warm, thoughtful, and easy to work with. She was open to our ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and handled every detail with so much care. It never once felt stressful, she made the whole process feel fun and seamless, even with our budget and timeline. We’re already looking for excuses to order from her again & planning another visit to her shop in Overland Park. If you’re looking for someone who’s creative, kind, and makes a variety of desserts people will actually remember, Kate is it. So grateful we got to work with her!

thing taste amazing, but the presentation was just as impressive. The attention to detail and flavor was truly unforgettable. Kate and her team made our celebration even sweeter, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for desserts in the future!

isten to what we wanted, went the extra mile to make us feel important, and were communicative through every step. Our day was so perfect with their help and everything was delicious! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about the cake flavors — and the slutty brownies! We’ve been recommending them to all of our friends and will definitely be working with them again in the future.

he absolutely knocked it out of the park. From our first meeting, to our tasting, and the day of, she made the whole process so easy and fun. When our venue said certain desserts needed to be made in house, Kate easily updated our invoice for us and best of all, she even surprised me with the macarons from our original order on the day - personally packaged for us to take home and enjoy. She goes above and beyond in everything she does, and she has customers for life in us. Our guests are still talking about how good everything was!

ous and the desserts were delicious. I am still amazed when I look back at photos at how breathtaking the set up was. I would recommend her over and over again!

ed our wedding cake just as I imagined and went above and beyond to even set them up for us. She even helped when it started to down pour, moving all of my wedding decor inside the venue. She is truly the best with the most beautiful and delicious desserts! ☺️

ts could not stop raving about how good everything was! So easy to work with and we highly recommend!!

of a macaroon tower. Kate helped us select the layout and color scheme once we picked our flavors of choice. We chose to do a macaroon tower, accompanied by cake pops, cookies, and cupcakes. EVERYTHING was delicious, Kate is a phenomenal baker and deserves all the recognition. We live in Washington DC, but wished we lived closer so we could go to the bakery more often! Kate is communicative, and her prices are reasonable.

licious and beautiful. Our guests were also happy to have so many options, including gluten-free macarons.

he cake was absolutely to DIE for!!!! We got endless compliments on the cake. Our first reaction after the cake cutting was "wow! This is the best cake I've ever had". We did a white almond cake with strawberry filling. We also did rose petal and chocolate macarons. The rose petal were absolutely delicious and the chocolate was phenomenal!!

ck up the cake and it was such an easy process! It was so beautiful and exactly how I envisioned it! It was also incredibly tasty!!! I recommend Kate Smith for any event! She’s incredible and her staff is also amazing! Go check out her bakery if you haven’t already!!

was also very professional and the communication was fantastic. I highly recommend them a 10/10!

guests raved about the cake and dessert options. Kate Smith was communicative, and went ABOVE AND BEYOND! The bride and groom were sad that during all the hubub of the wedding, they had their first bite but didn't take time to eat a whole piece and then the cake was gone. Kate Smith made time to make them a small cake for when they returned from their honeymoon. Defininety would choose Kate Smith again and I will use for events other than a wedding.

e choices for flavors for each dessert we had, it was very hard to decide on because they were all so delicious!

ovide macarons, cookie bars, mini tarts, and cupcakes for our event. Our guests raved about the taste, but the desserts were also gorgeous to look at! Guests especially liked how portable KSS desserts were - perfect for keeping the party going on the dance floor. During the booking process, Kate was a dream to work with. She was extremely responsive, sent accurate invoices on time, had a very organized and approachable tasting, and even provided dessert stands and signage for our event. We definitely recommend her for couples who are looking to book her for their wedding!

nce beautiful but the combination of desserts were fabulous. Kate is extremely professional and so good at what she does. Our dessert bar was a huge success and complimented our reception beautifully!

ous! She is so kind and cool to work with! Our tasting to pick flavors was so great we had a hard time picking, but Kate was helpful because she knew which items are a hit! Everyone at the wedding raved about the dessert table, and our cutting cake tasted amazing and was beautiful! We loved her so much that we booked her again for cake pops for a baby shower honoring our sister-in-law! 10/10 recommend Kate and her amazing bakery!

he perfect fit! And we were right…she and her team nailed it! Everything was absolutely delicious and the table was beautiful. Kate made the process seamless and fun; she was easy to work with, responsive to our inquiries, and made recommendations that fit our vision. When we found out our venue closed, Kate went above and beyond to make sure everything would still be perfect. Our guests loved the donuts served during coffee hour and we still have guests raving about the treats they had after brunch. We were sad we didn’t eat more ourselves which made us so grateful for the macarons made specifically for us to enjoy afterwards. We would recommend Kate Smith Soiree again and again for any dessert needs. There are so many fun unique options. Send an inquiry or even better yet…pop into her bakery and check it out for yourself!

There were also some small rentals that we ordered to place desserts on which looked great and pick-up / drop-off was super easy. We would absolutely recommend Kate and Kate Smith Soiree to anyone looking for a wedding caterer.
