ding photographer, we wanted to balance both beautiful photos in a style we love and someone who we would enjoy being alongside for our whole wedding day. A great photographer can really make or break those special moments on your wedding day. Kate made them all even better.
In the weeks and months leading up to our wedding, we had a number of conversations to get to know Kate, her style, and share our hopes for our wedding photographer. She is warm, calming, easy going, and knowledgeable. Kate is a clear communicator and knows exactly what questions to ask you ahead of time to ensure that she delivers what you’re looking for while navigating all of the nuances of family pressures on such a big day.
As a documentary style photographer, Kate gracefully balances being a fly on the wall and directing you and your family when necessary. She captures the organic moments of connection and joy that are already happening between you and your loved ones, without disrupting the moment at all. She ensures she’s in the exact right location to get the perfect picture. Kate is both a calming presence throughout the day and disappears into the background, which allows you to be comfortable and yourself in those special moments, which in turn allows Kate to capture your genuine emotions. Looking at our pictures, they feel alive and feel like she captured the real me, as I felt in those moments. It’s such a unique skill to not only take beautiful photos, but also make space for genuine life and emotions to shine.
She captures these special moments, all while allowing you to be fully present. As those who have gotten married know and those who will get married will find out - it can be a whirlwind, so this is a really impactful gift. We can’t say enough good things. Kate is a wonderful person, presence, and photographer. I will recommend her to everyone I know documenting life’s milestones in the future. She was recommended to me and once I saw her photos on her website, I knew she was the one. Then I talked to her on the phone and extra knew she was the one. Her demeanor is so easy going, reassuring and knowledgeable. Check out her website and you see her work - they are incredible for not only do they capture the beauty of newlyweds, family, and friends, but she captures all of the feelings from those moments.
On my wedding day, she was such a warm presence to have around. Yet also somehow you never knew she was there. She observes the moments and let’s them unfold while capturing their essence. She captured photos of our two excitable pups and made them look calm and collected. Remember how I said how you feel the moments of others weddings? Imagine when you are looking at the photos from your own. When I (quickly) received my photos, I couldn’t believe it. My heart, it felt like I was just back there! She captured moments I didn’t know were unwinding. She captured the raw emotions on all of our faces. My family and friends have told me her photos are the best they have ever seen from a wedding and I feel the exact same way. Thank you Kate for allowing us to relive the most amazing day of our life over and over again and feel just like we did on that day! And everyone else, book Kate ASAP!

Kate (sorry, her name's not actually Betty) does a great job of capturing you in your true environment. We considered one of our favorite restaurants or bars (because that is actually where we spend our time), but settled on an at-home shoot with our new pup. Kate did an amazing job of capturing all three of us. And I was absolutely shocked at the outdoor pictures she took - the foliage looks like a beautiful, autumnal day, not the December day it actually was. Many vendors will boast the lowest rate to grab you, but Kate is very open and flexible to make sure you have the best package for you. She asked all the right questions and made the photography aspect of our wedding a breeze. The sun was very bright and the location was not the easiest as far as romantic backgrounds, but Kate immediately picked out some photo-perfect backgrounds and the photos were great despite the blinding sun. Working with her is stress-free. The best part is beautiful photos, fast. We had our album online for viewing in less than a week after our wedding and the flash drive came almost immediately after. Good friends of ours were married a week before us and are still waiting on their photos. Overall, very happy with Kate and her professionalism.

Betty Clicker Photography to thank in large part for that. During the wedding, she was professional and elusive- capturing the special candid moments that every bride dreams of. I barely knew she was there most of the time, which I think is a skill most photographers lack. After the ceremony, the often dreaded "posed" photos were COMPLETELY painless. Kate moved groups in and out efficiently- without compromising on quality whilst doing so. The group photos of wedding parties were the most creative and effective I've ever seen- not at all cheesy! The photos of our families and friends are ones that I will cherish for a lifetime. She can do anything!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
