If you've seen her photos you already know how talented she is, but know that she is also a joy to work with. From the start, she was consistent with her communication throughout our planning process, even offering recommendations for other vendors we were struggling to find. When it came down to the wedding day Kate exceeded all of our expectations. We had already done an engagement shoot with her so we knew we would be in good hands and feel comfortable having her capture our day, but she went above & beyond. She managed to wrangle our crazy bridal party & families together for pictures while keeping it fun and relaxed. We had multiple people come up & comment on how great her and her second shooter were. We were impressed at how quickly she got our photos back to us & just how many there were. She truly captured every moment / aspect of our day and we are soo grateful to have such a beautiful representation of our wedding. the most gorgeous photos, she is truly the most kind and sweet person. By the end of it, she felt more like a friend — we miss her already! From the beginning, communicating with Kate was so easy. She was quick to respond to emails and even scheduled a call to get to know us better as a couple. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera, but Kate put us at complete ease — we trusted her immediately during our engagement photo shoot. We fell in love with her photography and editing style — she is great at capturing candid moments and focuses on all of your guests so you can remember everything about your day. By the time our wedding came around, we knew we were in great hands. She has an incredible eye for detail, acts as a fly on the wall (she captures the best moments you wouldn’t think of), and is great with making you feel super comfortable. Kate is also so quick to deliver photos without sacrificing quality — I was not expecting to receive as many sneak peek photos as I did in such a short amount of time. We were completely blown away by our photos and are so grateful we had Kate to capture our special day. Highly recommend hiring her for your wedding — we promise you won’t regret it!

erstar. Literally everyone had a comment afterwards about how sweet and kind our photographer was, while still herding everyone like cats to where they needed to be. She set the tone for the day, and was consistently upbeat and a joy to be around. She worked flawlessly with our videographer and they each got everything that they needed without making us feel like we were being pulled in two directions. me. Just WOW. Not only is she excellent at her craft but she is kind and was a pleasure to work with. Being in a lot of weddings before our own I appreciated her energy just from meeting with her remotely as I was a destination bride and then even more so the wedding day. Having her as apart of our day felt so natural and comfortable even though we had never met! She knocked out the family photo combinations and the additional shots without me or anyone in my family having to pull out a shot list. It says right there on the first page that she will be a friend, consultant, and your own personal hype woman and that's all too true. She made us feel so comfortable and captured such amazing candid moments. after meeting Kate in person, it was already like she was an old friend. During our engagement shoot, the time flew by and felt more like a fun adventure than posing to get our photo taken. You can trust her to "get the shot" while also making the experience enjoyable for everyone. She was organized and communicative leading up to the wedding, and on the day-of she hit the perfect balance of organically capturing us enjoying the day, while also organizing family for larger group photos and helping "pose" us in a way that didn't feel forced at all. We are by no means models, and both of us were almost shocked by how natural we looked in our photos. Looking through our preview album was like reliving our wedding day. We can't wait to see the rest of the photos!

nded up eloping in Washington in August but still really wanted to take some photos in Joshua Tree National Park. I reached out to Kate about doing a shoot with ~a month notice and she was totally game. Throughout all of our transitions and ideas, Kate has been flexible, knowledgeable, and supportive - like our own personal cheerleader. This is the second time we’ve had professional photos taken together (the first was our wedding day) so I was a little nervous — Kate completely put us at ease and we had SUCH a fun time. Ultimately, Kate was the only actual wedding vendor present for our very small ceremony, and she helped keep things on track and move smoothly. She helped us move from one moment to the next and her guidance was super appreciated. The photos are stunning, and we are amazed at all of the very small, precious moments she captured. Kate has a great eye for couples in the outdoor space and all of our pictures are an amazing combination of us and the beautiful lake, mountains, morning sky, and even our dog.
