AVOID KATELYN CATALDO AT ALL COSTS. WHETHER IT BE PHOTOGRAPHY OR ANY OTHER SERVICES SHE MAY OFFER.
I was married 10-10-21 Katelyn was my photographer. I thought she did a decent ...
job shooting my wedding. I ordered a USB & 2 years later I still haven't received it.
FOR 2 Years she has ignored me at almost every turn unless it was to make up excuses as to why she never placed the order or never sent it out.
In December of 2022 she told me she would mail it but never let me know when for 3 months I try to contact her asking if she mailed out our package or if she knows anything about it but she ignores me. Until my husband leaves a negative review.
That triggers her to actually check on my order and she lets me know it was lost in the mail & she's SO sorry she hasn't been receiving my communications and when she never heard from me she ASSUMED we received it. (I had been trying to contact Katelyn in ALL forms I had that entire time) Offers no proof of any of this and will not send tracking info so I could look into it myself. She tells me she will refund the USB (She does not) and re order and send another one.
Months go by she ignores all my communication until she decides to let me know she FORGOT to place my order but will do it soon. Another couple of months go by Katelyn is still continuing to ignore me. Finally in August on 2023 she tells me my order is in and she will be sending it out. I wait for 2 weeks and no package. I reach out to Katelyn again and am once again ignored all the while she has plenty of time to make Facebook/instagram posts, and start new businesses.
At this point I am reaching out to Katelyn daily assuming she's not receiving my messages or phone calls or DMs since that has been a common excuse she's used over the last 2 years.
Apparently she had been receiving them the WHOLE time and was very annoyed with how frequently I was trying to contact her over an order she has neglected to fulfill that I've already paid for.
Katelyn once again said she'd mail the order and once again flopped and did nothing except make up excuses and lies about why she has yet to mail my order. That she claims she has.
At this point Katelyn is still ignoring my communications & still hasn't sent out my USB that she claims she has. It has been over 2 years since I was married and am absolutely tired of Katelyn and her excuses and lies.
At this point I don't know if Katelyn ever even ordered the USB. She has single handedly destroyed any ounce of faith I had with her.
In conclusion Katelyn Cataldo is deceitful, unprofessional, and dodgy. I would recommend avoiding her at all costs. DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY ON A SMALL BUSINESS WHO DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THERE CLIENTS!
I've never been more dissatisfied in my life.
I found Kate based off wedding wire and fell in love with her pictures. She was wonderful to work with the day of the wedding. Once we received our pictures I noticed both the fath...
er daughter dance with My father and I and My daughter and father missing. Which of course is the biggest part of a woman's wedding day. After expressing the special bond my daughter and my husband who was in the process of adopting her shared we really wanted that moment from our pictures. When sharing we are missing photos she stated they must of got lost and will work to retrieve them. She would go months without responding to emails and at times would shut her emails off and I was unable to get in contact. After spending over $1500 on photos she said she will refund $100 and allow me to pick a gift off her site. About a year later after not refunding the moneh or gift she said she finally found my pictures and apologized about not being attentive. She asked for my address and said she will send the refund, gift, and pictures including the father daughter dances. Fast forward to almost 2 years later now 2023 no money, gift, or father daughter dance pictures and she continues to ignore my emails, text, and Facebook message. At this point I feel she owes me more money but I would truly rather my pictures. I am extremely emotional over this and would suggest anyone who wants great memories from such a special day to avoid kate at all cost.
The last time I heard from Kate was December 16th when I always told our USB drive with our photos would be put in the mail. Well months go by, still nothing, no tracking, no apolo...
gy. I have sent multiple emails and Facebook messages to ALL(7) of her accounts, with nothing but an automated response. She has received my payment of $133.75 months ago, where is my drive? I would really like my money back at this point and just to be done with this. Although losing all those photos for no reason really, really sucks. Would gladly change this review......
She was a wonderful photographer but this is absolutely unacceptable and just bad business. Buyer beware you may not receive everything you pay for.
From the moment we got our sneak peaks we’ve been anxiously awaiting for our final gallery because they were already amazing. Kate was so easy to work with and so quick to respond ...
throughout our entire wedding planning process. We are in love with all of our pictures and received so many pictures back which allowed us to relive the day all over again! We can’t thank her enough!
Kate took the photos of our wedding, and they are beautiful! She has a talent for creating the perfect pose to capture those special moments, and her work is STUNNING! We had a har...
d time choosing which photos to print and still get so many compliments on them. She also took the time to meet with us and discuss what we envisioned for our wedding, and the pictures ended up being better than we dreamed of! Our expereince working with Kate was excellent!
Kate was originally hired as our photographer and things seemed great, that was until we were supposed to receive our invitations from her. Originally they were supposed to be read...
y in May, then it was June, and then July. The beginning of August rolls around, about a month before the wedding, and we still have no invitations. Kate was difficult to reach and when she did contact us she did not seem concerned that our invitations that we were supposed to receive three months ago, still had not arrived. We ended up making our own and mailing them out since it was cutting it so close. The last month before the wedding is already stressful, Kate made it even worse. She was not apologetic or anything when we complained and voiced our concerns. We ended up cancelling our services with her, which she did not make easy, because at this point we really couldn't trust her. I would not recommend her to anyone, unless you want to feel panicked about invitations and want your emails to not be answered unless you send her six at a time.
Katelyn Cataldo seems talented but the way she runs is business is troublesome. She takes days to respond to your emails, which wouldn't be as big problem if the products from her ...
arrived they were actually supposed to. She was supposed to design our invitations for the wedding and I ended up having to make my own because not only were the invitations two months late, but they never showed up. She always had some excuse but we reached a point where my fiancé and I were debating if she was a scammer because this situation just seemed so unlike an actual business person. It is now a month before my wedding and I'm scrambling to make sure I have a photographer because this women is so unreliable.
Kate's work speaks for itself! She was a wonderful, professional, and adaptable person to work with, and we absolutely love the photos we got out of it! My husband and I are not th...
e most photogenic of people, but Kate's team captured so much more than just pictures. All of her photos capture the feelings behind the moment and look natural and professional. Would recommend her services to anyone who is looking for great quality in an easy to work with person.
Kate was phenomenal! I really cannot say enough about what a pleasure she was to work with.
From beginning to end, Kate was extremely responsive & professional. Throughout the pl...
anning process, she was quick in her replies to me & thorough. I always felt like a priority, which really put my mind at ease with all of the other wedding planning balls I was juggling. The day of our wedding, Kate & her team arrived on time & were so easy to work with. At many times I forgot they were there because they did such a wonderful job capturing our moments without ever making it feel forced or intrusive. Our wedding album perfectly reflected the energy of the day. It tole the story of each moment, authentically, without looking overly posed or forced. Everything translated organically & we couldn't be happier.
Photography is a huge part of the wedding day & I am so grateful to have trusted Kate & her team with this responsibility! Her pricing was extremely reasonable, ESPECIALLY for the quality of work she provides. If you are thinking of hiring Kate, just do it, she is fantastic!
Thank you Katelyn & team!
Katelyn was amazing to work with! She had a smile on her face all day even though it was 95 and we were all struggling from the heat. The pictures we’ve seen so far are incredible!...
!! I couldn’t ask for a better photographer!!! :)
Kate is the bomb and I am obsessed & swooning over our pics! From her making our engagement shoot fun & relaxed with my husband's motorcycle & our beloved pit bull to our wedding ...
day having fun with our friends and stealing away time for just him and I to get the romantic shots - it was perfecto! She has an eye for the not-so traditional but so amazing and she is down for any idea and she does it with a positive vibe and smile. Thank you, Kate!

the vision my husband and I had. All of the emotions I wanted portrayed are palpable through the photos. And I love that we get to enjoy our big day again and again every time we peruse our beautiful album.
