r shooting our wedding. Years ago, I met Katie through a mutual friend, and I've been following her photography ever since. I have a passion for photography myself and have always been inspired by her talent. As soon as I got engaged, I prioritized photography and began researching many, many photographers and weighing many, many options. The choice of having Katie as our wedding photographer was absolutely a no brainer. Katie's talents are unmatched. There's no other way to say it than to say, "Katie is THE BEST" -- because she IS. For many months before our wedding, Katie and I emailed back and forth about my venue and my vision for our big day. She even followed me on twitter to get a better feeling for how I envisioned our wedding being captured. No lie, she captured EVERY SINGLE moment, memory, frame, and family member that I remember ever mentioning to her… plus some!!! I really, really don't like all of the attention on me (it gives me anxiety), so I especially appreciated that (other than our formal family photos) I barely noticed Katie was even there. Also, my husband and I were lucky to get married in an absolutely gorgeous venue (and my parents spent a lot of money for us to get married there), and Katie is a genius with commercial settings, so I knew that she would capture the setting of our wedding beautifully. Boy, did she. The venue asked for our wedding photos to put on their own website. Oh, and my wedding dress boutique and our florist also asked for photos for their websites. I swear I'm not making this up. She's that good. I will never be able to thank her enough for the memories that she beautifully sealed in time for us to cherish forever. Lastly, while writing my review, I also asked my mother and my husband for their input. My mother really loved Katie's unbelievable creativity and her professionalism throughout the entire process. My husband's input? - "Katie's a real cool chick, and she knows what the hell she's doing."
