About this vendor
I’m an artist and photographer. I’ve documented weddings for all types of people all over the world. I help couples tell the story of their special day by capturing images that last a lifetime. As your wedding professional, I value our relationship as much as you'll value the results I deliver.
It’s easy for me to find joy in each moment — we’ll end the day feeling like new friends.
I value where you are on your journey. I love what I do and I work with people who are truly in love. You are committed to each other and I’m committed to you.
I’m a human who cares and who dares to do more than just hold a camera... You cry, I cry.
You’ll go through so much in a wedding day and there's no way to practice for it. But in this art, I’ve had lots of practice. That’s why I always give you the time you need to breathe and be together. That is what’s most important: Being.
I’m looking forward to working together!

We had Katelyn for both our engagement shoot and her and her husband Jimmy for the wedding. Katelyn did an incredible job with the photos, and even provided us a preview of about 2...
5 photos the day after our wedding. Her and Jimmy are friendly, personable, and able to show the best of my partner and I. All guests who were also photographed by Katelyn and Jimmy said they were great. They are able to capture both the candid moments and staged photos with precision. They work seamlessly together, and it made for ease for the entirety of photos. Would highly recommend them for your wedding, engagement, grad photos (because I had her do mine too!!) - you will be happy.
Katelyn was the best! She has done photography for me and my family several times, and recently shot our wedding as well. She is so easy to work with, and makes the entire process ...
seamless. I love her style of photo - clean and bright! I would definitely recommend her for your wedding!
We recently had the pleasure of working with Katelyn and her partner Jimmy for our wedding photography, and we cannot recommend them enough! From start to finish, they were incredi...
bly professional and attentive to every detail. The photos they captured are nothing short of stunning—each one is so artistic and evocative, perfectly telling the story of our day in a way that feels both intimate and timeless.
What truly stood out, though, was their presence on the day of the wedding. Katelyn and Jimmy have such a calming, unobtrusive energy. In the best possible way, we hardly noticed they were there—yet they still managed to capture every beautiful moment with such grace and skill. They made us feel so comfortable and at ease, which allowed us to fully enjoy the day without feeling like we were constantly posing for photos.
If you’re looking for photographers who can truly capture the essence of your special day with incredible artistry and a calm, professional demeanor, Katelyn and Jimmy are the perfect choice!
Hiring Katelyn for our wedding was the best decision we made for our wedding! She is extremely thoughtful in everything she does, which very much shines through in her work. She to...
ok the time to get to know us as a couple prior to even discussing logistics, which shows how personal she acknowledges her place is on your wedding day. She is very attentive to detail and respectful to everyone's time; I had absolutely no concerns about staying on schedule because Katelyn took charge wrangling through my husband's very large family when it came time for those photos. The main thing my husband and I were most concerned about were reading our vows, which we did in a private place prior to the ceremony. It was just the two of us, Katelyn, and her partner, Jimmy, and having them there really made us feel so much more calm. Not only did they capture some beautiful moments during this emotional exercise, but her and Jimmy took so much care to silently support us without causing distraction as we choked through our written vows. I would recommend Katelyn 10 times over to any bride in the northern Michigan area. She is a phenomenal human being and professional, and you'll be thanking yourself for hiring her to deliver the memories of your special day you'll hold onto forever!

ghted the joy and emotions of ourselves (and our guests). Their shooting and editing styles have beautiful artistic touches that makes all the difference in the final photographs. We were able to just be ourselves and they effortlessly composed each shot with beautiful angles and lighting. We are so glad we hired them to remember our engagement and our wedding day and you won't regret doing that same!
"We had the absolute pleasure of working with Katelyn and Jimmy for our wedding in Spring Lake, Michigan, in 2023, and we couldn't be happier with the results! They have an incredi...
ble talent for capturing the beauty of outdoor settings, and the natural surroundings were showcased beautifully in our photos. Every special moment—from the candid, emotional shots to the picturesque scenery—was perfectly captured. Katelyn and Jimmy have an amazing eye for detail and made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. We are so grateful for the stunning memories they created for us!"
Katelyn did an amazing job capturing our wedding. I don't know how she managed to be everywhere at once but she got every moment. We received our photos quickly and they're just so...
beautiful. Katelyn did a great job directing traffic at our wedding and helping us make sure we had enough time to take each photo we wanted. She kept us laughing and smiling.
We highly recommend choosing Katelyn for your wedding photography, you won't be disappointed!
Working with Katelyn was a dream. We spoke on the phone and connected and I knew she would be a great choice. I also loved the way she talked about her partner/co-shooter Jimmy, an...
d liked the idea of a couple taking our photos at our wedding. Because we live on the East Coast, we were unable to meet before the wedding, but I felt completely comfortable and like Katelyn really got us as a couple from our phone conversations. Communications, payment, logistics were all quick and easy. She is super responsive. Turn around time from wedding to photos edited and presented digitally was less than 3 weeks, and they are so so beautiful. I loved Katelyn's bright, dreamy style which made everyone look glowing and happy and really captured the magic of the day. She caught all the most important moments on camera, coached us for positioning without it being at all awkward, had great ideas for cool places to shoot at our venue, and was efficient in getting all our requested family shots even though my family is huge and crazy. I feel like we could be friends in real life and felt very comfortable with both her and Jimmy. This was the best choice I made for my wedding day. My only regret was not hiring her to document the whole weekend.
WE LOVE KATELYN SO MUCH. She makes you feel incredibly comfortable; it was as if we'd been friends with her forever. There are many intimate moments with just the two of you and yo...
ur photographer, so you definitely want someone like Katelyn who is positive, enjoyable to be around, and fun. At the same time, she is very professional and talented. Her pictures speak for themselves. We could not be more happy with her and her work, we feel lucky to have been able to work with her. The day of the wedding we wanted two photographers and she came with her partner, Jimmy. He was also amazing and the two of them worked so well together. Do yourself a favor and reach out to Katelyn, you won't regret it!
