had great attention to detail and wanted to know everything about us and the wedding, she arrived very early and familiarized herself with the lay of the land, and got started right away. She quickly gets to know you and makes you so comfortable and knows exactly what to get done. Our wedding party also loved her because she is fast and makes the process easy on everyone. Katherine is incredibly creative and has a wonderful vision and will capture everything and more. And the pictures - WOW! They are better than we could have ever imagined!! If you are in the southeast (or anywhere), Katherine Birkbeck is who you need to use.

ngs. She asked good questions beforehand to know what I wanted and managed to get it all. I've seen about 100 of the photos at this point, and can't wait to see the rest. She drove two hours to shoot our wedding and considered it "in-town," and her rates were better than anyone else. She truly documented our day.

ional and organized and her photography was absolutely gorgeous. She was also very sweet and calm- which was a trait she carried over into the hectic wedding day. We were also pleased that she was an exemplary photographer who fit within our budget The day of the wedding she was a dream. She was helpful and calm and blended into the background while she took her candid shots. And the pictures? Oh my goodness!!!! They are incredible! We were left speechless by her beautiful work. She caught every miniscule detail, she was unique and creative, she was PERFECT. She even took us once the sun had gone down to take the most amazing pictures in front of the lit fountains at our venue (Crescent Bend). Those pictures made our jaws drop! I would recommend Katherine to ANYONE who is looking for phenomenal pictures. (I even had two of my other vendors who saw our pictures after the wedding ask for her information to recommend her to other brides). We were thrilled with her work.

so, we have not received our wedding pictures back yet but from what i have seen of the "sneak peek" they are great! i also like that she offers the cd with the photos in her packa...

ge and its not 1000 extra. Katherine is very easy to work with and a very sweet person! would recommend.

Katherine is the absolute best and worth every penny. We got great comments on our engagement photos which we used on our website, save the date magnet and rehearsal dinner invite....

AND then when it poured rain our whole wedding day, she was still able to get amazing photos and do some beautiful work. Everyone we know has just oozed compliments on our pictures. We were worried she wouldn't be able to get anything because of the weather, but instead...she got awesome pictures!

I had hired Katherine Birkbeck in late 2009 to do my wedding in Octber of 2010 so I had hired her almost a year prior to our wedding. I was very excited to have her as our photogr...

apher because I loved her photos in her books and website. I found out at the beginning of 2010 that she had moved from GA to TN and had sent us an email that said not to worry that she was still planning on doing our wedding and that she would just drive in from out of town. I was a little nervous at this point depending on someone to get to the wedding with no issues from out of town, etc. A few months before the wedding (keeping in mind that October is one of the busiest wedding months!) I received AN EMAIL from Katherine stating that her friend had decided to get married the weekend of our wedding so she could no longer be our photographer. I couldn't believe that she was cancelling on us a few months before our wedding! It was totally unprofessional and rude and above it all she decided to cowardly send an email to us to let us know instead of picking up the phone to have a conversation with us. Thankfully, we were able to use another photographer that we had interviewed around the same time as Katherine, that we loved, but was about $300 more expensive than Katherine. My fiance called Katherine and she did end of sending us a check for the $300 difference which helped us a little bit, but I would be very careful if you choose to hire her for your wedding. You might end up a few months before with no photographer. Andrea Taylor Studios is the photographer that we hired and I think it was fate because we have the most beautiful pictures and loved working with her.
