One of the best experiences of my wedding planning was getting the chance to work with Katherine! My buodoir shoot was so fun, and she made me feel so comfortable and confident! I had never done one and was so nervous to see how they came out. However, when I first saw the photos I was so shocked and overwhelmed. Katherine made me feel like a beautiful bride to be, and I cannot wait to see the look on my grooms face when he receives this wedding gift the morning of our wedding! Katherine was amazing!! I spent a lot of time researching boudoir photographers in the Boston area and am so happy I found Katherine. I went into this experience thinking I was going to feel awkward and wouldn’t know how to pose for the camera but she doesn’t let you feel like that for one second! She makes you feel comfortable the second you walk into her studio and acts out all the poses before you get into them so you know exactly what to do! Her wardrobe/closet selection is AMAZING (and much bigger than expected) - it saves so much stress/ money to be able to borrow her beautiful items for the shoot. I absolutely love the way my photos came out and it was the best surprise for a wedding gift on the day of! If you’re looking for a boudoir photographer I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Katherine- it was the best experience and I’m so happy I did it.

I can not recommend Katherine Henry enough. It was an absolute joy to work with her! I honestly was very nervous about the thought of doing a boudoir shoot but after having an initial phone consultation with Katherine I knew I had to do it. The entire experience was so much fun, I felt a bit guilty after the fact considering it was a wedding gift for my future husband; I felt like it was a gift to myself for the experience alone! I had my hair and makeup done by the incredible Tara of Tada Hair and Makeup who was sweet, talented and listened to my vision and brought it to life. The actual shoot was a blast- Katherine has the best closet to help figure out what to wear. I brought a lot of my own things and she worked with me to style and add from her closet to complete my looks. We did so many different poses and backgrounds that it made choosing from the images hard! My final book came out absolutely stunning and the best part was giving it to my husband before our wedding and seeing the look of shock and happiness on his face! If you are considering doing a boudoir shoot, go for it with Katherine, you will not be disappointed!

From beginning to end, Katherine made the process a breeze. During the shoot she showed me how to pose and gave me little tricks along the way. It was fun going through her closet to add a few more pieces to my shoot. She moves fast shooting and it is because she knows exactly what she is doing. The photos came out GORGEOUS. Way better than I ever imagined. I got an album and can’t wait to give it to my fiancé right before the wedding. I only wish I could have Katherine at the wedding to pose me for the photos!

I can’t say enough good things about Katherine. From the second you meet her she is enthusiastic and welcoming. Her studio is beautiful and so is her work. Katherine really went above and beyond for me and I’m so excited to give my husband his wedding gift. Tara did an amazing job with hair and makeup. It was an all around great experience!

Katherine and Tara made the entire day so fluid and easy. I was nervous going into this process being a plus-size person but Katherine made sure I felt comfortable and sexy. When I shared my fears with her she sent me an album of another plus-size person and talked to me about what she loves. She communicated in a timely manner from my first message to the end and sent over info and resources to prepare. Day of I loved working with Tara, she listened to what I wanted and for things I wasnt picky about she used her skills to make me look beautiful. She wanted me to look and feel good. Katherine joined us and we all chatted like old friends. During the shoot Katherine was supportive, gave good feedback and made sure I understood everything that she was asking me to do. We actually had a lot of fun and I found that I enjoyed her working style. She was mindful of the time and made sure we did a variety of looks and poses. I will be sending ALL my friends her way.

Katherine was so great to work with and accommodating. I had found her through this website, The Knot, and I highly recommend her! She has such a wonderful energy and is very personable. I got lucky in getting an appointment last minute on my end but I would definitely recommend reaching out to her and book in advance. She helped me through everything from the wardrobe to the poses. I had such a great time. I am looking forward to the picture viewing! P.S. The use of the "closet" is genius! Just to have that extra comfort knowing you have other options. Hair and makeup was able to be done in the same building !

I am beyond happy with the photos from my shoot with Katherine! Never having done modeling quite like boudoir I wasn't sure what to expect, but Katherine immediately made me feel comfortable and confident, and I can't wait to do it again!!

I have admired Katherine's work for a while now, and while pregnant with my third child recently, was fortunate enough to do a maternity shoot with Katherine. I was excited to capture this moment in time, but nervous to pose in front of the camera by myself. Katherine was a dream to work with, and put me at total ease. She is warm, down-to-earth, and so comfortable to be with and talk to. She showed me how to pose, made me smile and laugh, and ended up capturing the most beautiful photos of my pregnant belly that I will treasure forever. I am so grateful!

Going into my boudoir session, I was so incredibly nervous. I had never met Katherine (only chatted via email), and was about to bare it all in front of her. I had been thinking about doing a boudoir session for about 6 months for my husband and my 5th wedding anniversary, but when the day finally came, I was so nervous. I highly recommend working with Katherine. From the initial consultation all the way to my final viewing she was very responsive and great to work with. She helped me pick out some of my outfits and made sure that I looked amazing during my shoot. Her closet is also AMAZING. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am usually very shy and quiet when it comes to pictures, but Katherine has this personality that makes you feel like you have known her your whole life. She is so sweet and understanding and will help you work towards your comfort level while still making you feel and look sexy. Her studio is adorable and she can do so many angles that make each picture look like a different surrounding. I have recommended her to so many of my friends and family and will continue to do so.

From the very start with getting hair and makeup done at TaDa Makeup you will feel sexy for your shoot. Katherine models every move and gives reassurance after every shot. A few weeks after my boudoir session, I then met with Katherine to view my photos where I was welcomed with a glass of water and a present! Katherine worked with me to make my fiancé an alumb to give him on our wedding day. I think I am most excited about the “view finder” with 7 slides to give to my fiancé on our wedding morning as a preview. I can’t wait to receive my album in a few weeks! Where do I begin!? I had THE MOST amazing experience from start to finish with both Katherine and Tara of Tada Makeup. Tara is extremely talented and will also be doing my bridal makeup, so I knew that I was already in great hands! I had been going back and forth on the idea of a boudoir shoot for some time... I would see all these beautiful photos on social media but never thought I would have the confidence to do this myself. Finally, one day I decided to inquire with Katherine and she was extremely responsive. We set up an intro call and I was immediately drawn in by her kind and upbeat personality. I knew that if I was going to pull the trigger on this (originally) nerve wracking idea, it would be with KHB. Katherine was with me the whole way, providing recommendations of where to shop, how to prep for the shoot itself and guiding me through each pose... I had so much fun! A few weeks after my shoot I sat down with Katherine and went over all photos and could not contain my excitement! Her talent and passion for what she does is undeniable and if anyone is entertaining the idea of a boudoir shoot I would say do not pass it up! This originally started out as a present for my future husband-to-be, but ultimately, was also a gift to myself. Katherine Henry Bordoir is fabulous!!! I contacted her after reading her wonderful reviews on The Knot. From Katherine’s first email I could tell how sweet and professional she was and knew that I could trust her with creating a beautiful bordoir experience for me. Prior to my shoot, she was quick with responding to questions big and small. She even directed me to a wonderful lingerie shop where I purchased gorgeous outfits for my experience. What an incredible experience! I always wanted to do a boudoir session for my wedding gift to my husband. It ended up being a gift to myself, too! Katherine was so helpful from the moment we started talking to the final pickup of my gorgeous book. I honestly don't even know where to begin to tell you about all of the wonderful things I want to share about working with KHB and the overall experience. From the very first time you interact with Katherine, she makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She guides you throughout the prep process with a survey to find out more about you and your vision for the photos, she has lots of tips and examples on her blog, and her pinterest site is really helpful for outfit ideas and pose practicing! If you're on instagram, you can use the hashtag #khbcloset and find examples of the items she has available for you to wear in your shoot - FOR FREE! It's such a cool way to add in something different to one of your photos. Her studio is beautiful and clean and you feel like a supermodel while you're in the middle of the shoot. I cried when I saw my photos and I cried when I received my products, too, because Katherine has an amazing talent to show you how beautiful you really are, and it's such an incredible gift you can give yourself. Whatever your reasoning for doing this (for you, for your partner, to celebrate a physical milestone, to honor your body post-baby, for an anniversary gift, etc), you will come away from this experience with so much more than you could have ever hoped for! If you've been thinking of doing boudoir photos, don't wait, and don't look elsewhere! I live in Kentucky and scheduled a vacation to Boston simply so I could take photos with Katherine. She's the best in the business, and she's worth traveling to!

Katherine was so much fun to work with! She made me feel super comfortable and guided me through the whole process! Katherine has to be one of the sweetest people I have ever met well doing a shoot. I have worked with a lot of photographers but she beats all of them. She really makes you feel comfortable as soon as you step into the studio. I also love the fact that you can get your makeup done right next door! It makes it so easy. I love the fact that she has so much experience and was able to tell me how to pose and what will show off my body the best! I did my first boudoir shoot with Katherine as a birthday present to my husband and a “I lost the baby weight” gift to me. I felt like a model for the day! She organized a makeup artist for my hair & makeup, gave me lots of tips on what kind of outfits to pick, and made me feel so comfortable! I had no idea how look sexy, but she showed me all sorts of tricks and definitely knows how to capture a woman’s best angle! The hardest part was narrowing down which pictures were my favorite. I have done two photo shoots with Katherine!! She made me feel so so comfortable, she positioned me perfectly to show off my best angles!!! The studio is so amazing, there’s so many backgrounds and sets that you can really do much with it!
