Katherine is a committed professional who strives to encapsulate some of life's most precious moments. She aims to make all her clients feel comfortable in front of her camera, making for more natural and true imagery.
Katherine studied photography at the College of DuPage and graduated in 2010. Before graduating, this determined professional worked at various photography internships and freelance roles alongside her professors. Katherine has also been a reporter and photojournalistic in Western Kentucky before moving back to the Chicagoland area.
All wedding packages at Katherine M. Photography can be customized to meet your specific requirements. As standard, all collections include an engagement session and either a USB or photo album. Your engagement session can take place ahead of your wedding and is a great opportunity for Katherine to better understand your love story. Meanwhile, she can celebrate your proposal through her lens. During your wedding, your photographer can be on-site throughout the entire day, ensuring that every crucial moment is forever frozen in time.

She is a woman with a plan, so if you need someone to help keep the flow of the day moving, Katherine will do so. She's also able to adapt to the atmosphere well. She did a such phenomenal job, so many of my friends and family are saying that they weren't even aware of her taking the photos that she did, but absolutely love how they look in them!

pictures she takes are absolutely gorgeous. On our wedding day she knew exactly where to set everyone up to get the perfect pictures. She took so many candid pictures of us to capture every special moment. She also asked us ahead of time if we had any pictures we really wanted to capture so she could make sure she got all of them! AND she totally did!! She is also so easy to work with and is SO sweet. She literally made sure the day was running perfectly and was there at any moment when we wanted a picture taken. She then went above and beyond and set up back round lights outside and took beautiful “night” pictures of the groom dipping me, spinning me around, and kissing me. We had a 1 year old flower girl who would NOT sit still and she still captured beautiful pictures of us with her.
