Katherine had a super friendly and easy booking process which is what drew us in! It was super important to me to get to know our photographer and them to get to know us before our wedding day! She offered a phone call and even a in person meeting just to chat. She’s answered all my questions and has even gone far and above to help me out in some of the wedding process! I feel super comfortable with letting her do her thing on her wedding day and she’s taken that stress away from me. (Which is priceless!) Our engagement photos turned out amazing. She provided many of different styles (flash, film, and even created reels and GIFs for us!!) We’re looking forward to our wedding with her!
UPDATE: Katherine worked our wedding and was AMAZING! I can not tell you how many complements I got on the vendors we picked, her being one of them. She helped and went out of her way to intentionally create magical moments for us. In every moment, the photographers were right there to help me. (Even to take off my shoes, get a drink for me, everything!!). Way more than what we ever expect of a photographer, but she genuinely cared for us to have a good wedding. She also provided us with amazing sneak peeks and we can't wait to get the rest of them!! We quickly booked her again for family Christmas photos and can't wait to keep her around to photograph all our milestones!

My partner and I eloped in the mountains of Colorado and camped for our reception, and we couldn't be more grateful to have had Katherine be the one shooting our big day! Katherine is not only an incredible photographer, but was an amazing addition to our wedding. Of course she captured all the big important moments beautifully, but what made me tear up when we got our photos back was seeing how intentionally she captured all the in between. The shared laughs and little moments with my partner. She went above and beyond in all ways and is such a kind and easy going person to include.

I’m absolutely in love with my photos! Kat’s documentary style truly captured our relationship. We have so many sweet candids and genuine moments captured. She was a fly on the wall during our reception, but was also able to take charge during family photos to ensure everything ran on time. I cannot recommend her enough!

Katherine is an absolute queen at photography!! I truly can’t say enough good things about her and her work.
What started out as an Instagram giveaway turned into so much and pictures that I will cherish for a lifetime. My fiancé and I won a giveaway for a free shoot back in 2023 so we used it as our engagement session. I had actually picked out a different photographer to be our wedding photographer but after our engagement session with Kat, I couldn’t imagine her not capturing our most special day. She was so kind and patient, she made us feel so comfortable, gave us many breaks and touch ups because the weather was 100+. Fast forward a year later to our wedding day, Katherine was so much more than just our photographer, she wore many hats all with grace. Her creative eye and attention to detail is unmatched. She has so much pride in her work, her photography isn’t just pictures, each one tells a story. Can’t wait for many years of working with Katherine Rivera Photography!
If you’re unsure about adding film to your package- DO IT, you won’t regret it and it’s worth the cost.

My husband and I have worked with Katherine on three sperate occasions; our engagement shoot, our wedding, and just recently an anniversary shoot. Each time Kat has provided us with beautiful images we will treasure for the rest of our lives. She's easy going and makes us feel comfortable. She has a great eye and takes great care into each shoot we've booked her for. We feel very lucky to have found not only a great photographer but a friend throughout working with her. Book her!!!

We absolutely LOVED working with Kat! She was so attentive to details and took great care in making sure she understood our vision for our wedding pictures. When our timeline got off she was flexible and didn’t skip a beat! She really made the whole experience so low stress. She was so fun to work with and was genuinely invested in making she our day was captured the way we wanted it to be captured. We were so happy with the final result, and really hope to get to use her services again in the future! 10/10 would recommend!
