lot of research on hair and makeup artists in the NJ area, I came across Kathleen. Her reviews were incredible, so I decided to reach out and book a trial. Kathleen was so kind, patient, and truly listened to the vision I had for my wedding look. My trial went perfectly, I left feeling confident, excited, and honestly so lucky to have found her. I loved everything about my hair and makeup that day. As amazing as the trial was, Kathleen somehow exceeded all expectations on the day of the wedding. My makeup and hair lasted ALL night long, my wedding ran from 6 PM to 12:30 AM, and I didn’t need a single touch-up other than my lipstick. Everything held beautifully through photos, the ceremony, dancing, and hours of celebration. Kathleen and her team arrived at 9 AM to set up, and we began at 9:30. We had six people needing hair and makeup, and the team worked efficiently while still giving everyone personalized attention. They finished right on time around 2:30, with final touch-ups done by 2:45. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful, and my bridal party couldn’t stop talking about how talented and sweet the stylists were. The team was punctual, flexible, and incredibly easy to work with, even as we switched up the order, they kept the morning calm, fun, and stress-free. We truly had such a great time getting ready with them. I highly, highly recommend Kathleen and her team to any bride looking for stunning, long-lasting hair and makeup and an amazing getting-ready experience.

From the beginning, she was extremely professional and provided prompt responses -- important considering I reached out to her within 62 days of the wedding date. Kathleen, provided a thorough and detailed proposal that accurately reflected all of our needs. She requested inspirational photos of the ideal makeup and hair for the event from all individuals but something that distinguished her from others is the fact that she took the time to identify our individual hair and skin needs for pretreating the hair leading up to the event! This proved to be extremely important -- our hair and make-up looked and felt perfect for the longevity of the event. This saved us money as we did not need any touch-ups! Kathleen and her partner, Kris, were punctual on the day of the event. They set up quickly and went straight to work. She was very communicative throughout the set-up to ensure we stay on track with our timeline as coordinated with the photographers. She went above and beyond to touch-up hair for those who finished in the beginning. She even stayed throughout our bridal party pajama photoshoot until I was dressed in my wedding dress, shoes, and accessories to show the maid of honor how to properly remove the veil as planned later in the event. s supposed to be a hot day and I had a few outfit changes and so Kathleen helped me come up with a plan to have my hair "down" though off of my neck and out of the way. Sahnet also accommodated my day-of-change in veil plan and made it work perfectly. The look was so pretty and I felt like myself, though all glammed up! My hair lasted all day, too.

his case I felt it was necessary to save other brides from this company. At my trial, everything was wonderful. The girls spent a lot of time on my hair and makeup and I loved how everything came out. As the day approached, I became concerned that one makeup and one hair girl wouldn't have enough time to complete myself, my mom and four bridesmaids. Months before the wedding I reached out to the owner who assured me that there would be plenty of time. The day of my wedding was extremely extremely rushed. When I say rushed, I mean that my last bridesmaid was still getting her makeup done while the limo was waiting outside to take us to the church. Talk about stress! That was high stress! When my makeup was finished, my face looked like caked on orange. I have a fair complexion with no orange tones so I have no clue why the makeup artist chose this color that clearly did not match my neck. The pictures from the beginning of the day are so hideous I can't even explain. My husband thinks that I always look beautiful and even he was disgusted. Luckily I wiped most of it off before the rest of the pictures were taken. Also, let me add that I curl my hair almost every day. I have coarse, thick hair that is amazing at holding curls. I've never ever had issues with curl staying in my hair when done properly. Now the hair.... at the trial my hair was so beautiful, and as I explained before I curl my hair often and never have any problems. For my wedding day, I wanted my hair extra curly...much curlier than I usually wear it. At the trial, it was done nice and extra curly and beautiful. When I sat down to have my hair done, I told the girl to do my hair the same as the trial. Not only was it less curly the trial, it was less curly than I usually wear it, making it look not special at all. Because it was so rushed and not done curly enough, by the time I reached the reception my hair was completely flat with just a few curls at the end. It was not the movie star look that I imagined and expected from the trial. I even got comments from people that they were surprised my hair was so flat since I'm known for having very full and stylish hair. Please do not hire this company! The girls are talented and they will do a great job at the trial. The day of they are rushed and flustered and you will not get the results that you wanted. Now I have to deal with looking at half of my wedding pictures with an orange face, and the other half with flat hair. It's depressing after you spend so much time and energy to make your day perfect and then you don't have any pictures that you like. Luckily everything else was wonderful (the food, the band, the ceremony, etc.) and I really did have a great time despite not looking my best, but I'm a person who loves great pictures and it really really really sucks that I don't have any pictures from my wedding that I want to display.
