Kathleen Rose Weddings

Kathleen was amazing! She listened to exactly what me and my husband wanted and didn't try to sway us in different directions which is what we felt from other officiants we talked to. She also sent us some examples of vows, poems and such to help us decide how we wanted our ceremony to go. She was so sweet, kind and caring toward us and made us feel so comfortable. So many family and friends told us how lovely she was and completely got why we picked her. She came to our rehearsal dinner and showed up early at our wedding to fill out our wedding license ahead of time and finish right after the ceremony. All went very smooth and wonderful with Kathleen. She's all about the love!

Kathleen was amazing to me and my husband Gerold. We had a very intimate simple ceremony on the space needle. She engaged with us very beautifully, and made the whole ceremony one to truly remember. Was punctual and sent me a message in case of possible delays. Super happy we had her as our officiant.

Negatives: -- she was 30 min late to our rehearsal (she charges a fee for rehearsals too) -- our marriage papers got returned by the recording office 3 weeks after our wedding because she did not fill out her part properly -- general lack of organization (she was nowhere to be seen after the ceremony to sign papers so we had to delay pictures and have my brother hunt her down...) Positives: -- good at speaking and keeping the audience engaged Overall, I was disappointed and had higher hopes for Kathleen as an officiant.

When my first officiant backed out on us a few weeks before our wedding, I was worried we wouldn't be able to find an officiant in time. I found Kathleen and she contacted me the same day to talk about a time we could meet up. Once we met her we knew that she was perfect for our ceremony. Kathleen was calm and relaxed that we could have an amazing ceremony with only one week to plan it. She provided readings and ideas and we selected what we wanted to use. On our wedding day, Kathleen again was a sense of calm, and helped ease both of our nerves before our ceremony. Even with traffic noise, and the wireless mic going out Kathleen rolled with the punches and we had a ceremony we will remember forever. I owe so much to Kathleen and helping pull all of our loose strings together so that we would have a smooth flowing ceremony!
