I will say that designing your custom gown is exciting and fun, yet there are stressful times. Brides often get caught up in the moment and it can be difficult to make decisions. Thus, I am saddened to read the review below listed by Laura B listed. I only imagine that she was stressed and never came to terms with what she actually wanted in a dress. Similarly I have seen other brides change their minds and buy multiple wedding gowns...never to be satisfied with any of them! I know everyone is open to their opinion, but I simply hope she is not taking her own frustrations out on Kathryn...as this would not be a fair judgement on Kathryn's professionalism, expertise, and talents. on I went into. All cookie cutter dresses and no one had what I envisioned wearing for my October wedding. I feared I would have to walk down the aisle in a dress I didn't love and didn't feel comfortable in. Then I found Kathryn and my vision came to life. She totally understood me from day one. From our very first meeting I felt an instant connection with Kathryn. I was incredibly impressed wth her professionalism and creativity-- she's a real veteran in the bridal industry, and I felt so lucky to have her design my wedding gown. My gown was absolutely PERFECT and so AMAZING. It was everything and more. It was truly Kathryn's brainchild, and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted-- long French lace sleeves, couture bodice, the perfect A-line, and an amazingly soft tulle skirt. We added a touch of baby blue tulle underneath the skirt and bodice that provided just the right amount of 'cool'. So awesome! It was really a unique and GORGEOUS gown. I completely trusted in Kathryn's design expertise and Alba's skilled hand throughout the process. They both could not have been more accommodating at every single appointment. They went to great lengths to ensure I was happy at every single stage. Kathryn truly made my dream dress come to life and it had a huge WOW factor because of how unique it was. Every single person at my wedding was in awe of my incredible gown. I wish I could wear it every day! If you want a custom gown, look no further. I would recommend Kathryn Conover Bridal Couture to any bride looking for a custom gown and intimate experience. Working with Kathryn was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning. I really miss our appointments!! She made me feel so special and truly made my wedding dreams come to life. What more could you want as a bride?

But why I truly have to recommend Kathryn is because she honestly saved the day when I had an issue with my dress. I was also working with a painter to add a floral accent to the dress and when I got it back (three weeks before my wedding), I just didn't like the painting (which was completely my fault). I called Kathryn and just said "I don't love it." Without skipping a beat she said "we can make another one" and within 1 week, I had a new dress that fit me even better than the original and Kathryn coordinated with the painter directly to make sure the second design was done perfectly and quickly. I definitely wouldn't recommend that anyone count on getting a dress done that quickly (by chance, another bride had a delay and Kathryn was able to squeeze in my re-make), but I am so grateful for Kathryn and Alba's compassion and professionalism. They really went above and beyond.
