We have and will continue to recommend her to absolutely everyone. We didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day largely in part to Katie. And we have way too many amazing photos to even pick a favorite - a great problem to have!!

Plus she takes a LOT of photos - you will not be disappointed wishing you had more! One thing that really impressed me was Katie's organization. She had a phone call with us well before the wedding and helped me create a timeline for the day - something every vendor is going to ask you for and which I had no idea how to do. I feel like her guidance went above and beyond a photographer and even into the realm of planner. She also went over family trees with us and to clarify what pictures we wanted with who, so after the ceremony was over we could get the formal portraits done as quickly as possible so we could move on to the photos of just the two of us as well as get to the reception! Katie is also very receptive and all about us being happy and enjoying our big day. We got married on one of the hottest days of the year, so when my husband was absolutely over it taking pictures outside in a full tux, she recognized it right away and whisked us into the reception hall for some air conditioning and quiet time alone just the two of us. Katie has a way of just making you feel comfortable on a day when there are cameras on you nonstop for a whole day. She encourages you, praises silliness, and overall just makes you feel like a gorgeous model who can do no wrong. I literally told my husband that night that I wish we lived closer because she is someone I would want to be friends with after the wedding! Leading up to the wedding, she worked with me to develop a timeline for the ENTIRE day, and talked through my crazy family photo requests (even though that part of the day ended up being very different day of - she adjusted perfectly!). She captured us, our family, and our friends perfectly. The posed photos are amazing, the candids from the reception are the BEST. Even the detail shots really show the essence of our day. She matched our vibe, and you can really see the fun through the pictures. Day of, she or her 2nd shooter were everywhere, getting all of the best shots, but also somehow right next to me when I had a specific request! I could not recommend her more - her and her 2nd shooter were worth every single penny!!!!!

She was so organized and was able to capture so many moments and shots in a timely manner - and made sure we stayed on time. In addition, she worked so well with our videographer. Not only did Katie help us pick out our locations for the engagement shoot so it felt most like us and perfectly captured our dog when she made her guest appearance, but she also NAILED IT when it started to rain. We did reschedule the rest of the shoot so we could still get the shots we wanted, but then Katie pulled out umbrellas and asked if we wanted to try some rain shots since we were already soaked. Those photos are not only our favorites but they made us look like movie stars! Needless to say we had no concerns when it came to the wedding photos. Katie scouted out the venue and came back with ideas for shots that we would have never thought about and of course, they are some of my favorite photos from the day! Katie is also so fun to be around and is a pro when it comes to handling your timeline day of and keeping family photos moving. I can not stress enough how thankful we are that Katie was recommended to us! The photos are better than we could have ever dreamed of and we used them for our save the dates, thank you notes, and can't wait to hand some around our house.

o; sure, the posed formal shots are great, but we really wanted those authentic moments, and she gave us exactly what we hoped for. After much thought, we opted to not hire a videographer, but Katie's work proved that we had nothing to regret. You can practically feel the emotions in every photo, and track every phase of the day from start to finish. Katie was also just incredibly efficient with our time. She told everyone exactly where to be and suggested every pose for my husband and I. She and her assistant captured every single moment, and yet I didn't even catch a glimpse of them during the ceremony or reception; they're just simply great at what they do! We cannot wait to decorate our home with the art that she has provided us, and I could not recommend her more.

On our wedding day, Katie and her second shooter, Christine, were early and helped keep us on schedule all day long. Katie is not only incredibly talented: she is genuinely fun to be around. When a surprise rain shower popped up after our ceremony, Katie encouraged us to get some shots in the rain. I am so glad we did. Also, Katie’s work truly speaks for itself.
