Kathy and Doug photographed my husband and I's wedding and rehearsal dinner. They were professional and responsive throughout the process. They did an amazing job getting all the...
pictures we desired and we especially loved the candid shots they captured of us and our family and friends. There were a few pictures I asked for specifically and they ensured they were captured. Looking at the pictures warms my heart and captures the energy and story of our wedding day. Their style in my opinion is very natural. Their photos are not overly colorized or heavy on a specific filter, which to me was authentic in capturing a realistic and beautiful representation of our wedding. Another plus, was they were extremely timely in getting us our edits which was great because we were looking forward to seeing them. I highly recommend Nola Vows Photography to anyone in the Greater New Orleans area looking for great photography for their wedding.
I had the pleasure of working with Kathy and Doug for my wedding. They were very professional and were easy to work with. The photos were delivered within a week of the event, and ...
they were PHENOMENAL! I can't thank Kathy enough for her patience and communication skills as mostly everything had to be handled via phone and email since I was an out of town bride.
Kathy and Doug did a fabulous job on our wedding. They were organized and helpful from engagement photos through wedding day. I appreciated Kathy’s attention to the details in t...
he planning of my special day. They were also very flexible in moving up the event due to tropical storm conditions. The pictures of the wedding captured the faces and moments that we will cherish for years to come. I can’t say enough good things about them!

ot stress you out, very organized, and take wonderful shots. I recommend them as the best photographer in our area.
I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Kathy and Doug. They were more than I ever could have dreamed for in photographers. Their background in photojournalism...
means we got amazing candid shots and Kathy's sharp eye means we got awesome posed shots. Everything was perfect. They did a wonderful engagement shoot with us before - and when it rained the day of my wedding and ruined my grand plans for pictures in City Park - they didn't miss a beat and still made our portraits look amazing. I know I paid them to at my wedding and they worked the entire time - but I felt like they were friends I had put to work and not vendors. They were just amazing. I highly recommend to anyone who wants great photos of their wedding.
AS OUR DAUGHTER AND HER FIANCE' ANNOUNCED THEIR ENGAGEMENT IN THE FALL OF 2015 WE BEGAN PLANS FOR THEIR WEDDING IN OCTOBER 2016. IT WAS IMPORTANT TO MY HUSBAND AND I THAT THIS BE T...
HEIR WEDDING NOT OURS, THEREFORE THOSE DECISIONS THAT MATTERED MOST TO THEM WOULD BE THE MAIN CONCENTRATION. NOLA VOWS PHOTOGRAPHY WAS A PRIORITY FOR OUR DAUGHTER AND SON-IN-LAW, AND AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED THE ONLY CHOICE FOR THEIR SPECIAL DAY. KATHY AND DOUG ARE A MARRIED COUPLE AND THE OWNERS OF NOLA VOWS PHOTOGRAPHY. THEY ARE BOTH HIGHLY EXPERIENCED PHOTOGRAPHERS AND THEY COMPLEMENT EACH OTHER WITH A RESPECTFUL APPROACH, AS DOUG PHOTOGRAPHS THE GROOM AND GROOMSMEN GETTING READY AND KATHY THE BRIDE AND HER BRIDESMAIDS. THEY SPEND TIME WITH THE BRIDE AND GROOM IN ADVANCE TO DETERMINE WHAT THEY WANT THEIR WEDDING DAY TO LOOK LIKE. THEY VISITED OUR RECEPTION HALL AND CHURCH AHEAD OF TIME TO KNOW WHAT WAS IMPORTANT TO CAPTURE. OUR SON-IN-LAW'S PARENTS HIRED KATHY FOR THE REHERSAL DINNER AND HER PHOTOS WERE BEAUTIFUL. SHE HAPPILY TOOK GROUP PICTURES OF FAMILIES AND FRIENDS WHENEVER ASKED. THEY ARE PERSONABLE, PROFESSIONAL AND VERY WILLING TO PLEASE THEIR CLIENTS. EVERY PART OF THE WEDDING FROM THE BEAUTIFUL CATHOLIC CHURCH TO THE RECEPTION IN THE FRENCH QUARTER WILL ALWAYS BE MEMORABLE AS WE LOOK AT OUR WEDDING ALBUMS.

ng day - they were also there for our engagement party and rehearsal dinner, which really made the whole experience even better. The best part about working with them is how passionate they are about what they are doing and how genuinely excited they are about making your day special and what YOU want. It was awesome having both a female and male available for the wedding day in order to shoot the girls' and guys' experiences. They provide you with a detailed survey months in advance to get all of your ideas, concerns, etc. answered. The pictures are breathtaking, and they do an amazing job at capturing every special moment that you may not easily remember on your own. I could go on and on about my experience with them. Thank you both so much for what you've done and for being a part of the best day of our lives!
