Kathy is an exceptionally gifted photographer. Not only does she have an excellent eye for color and style, she also knows how to tell the story of the moments she’s capturing thro...
ugh a series of images. She was an absolute breeze to work with at every stage, incredibly communicative and collaborative, with a clear sense of how to direct photos without overstepping or imposing. She was hands down the best vendor we worked with for our wedding, and we worked with a lot of wonderful people. She can put anyone at ease no matter how uncomfortable they might initially be with being photographed and she has a remarkable skill at capturing faces at their best. Wedding photography is such a difficult task and being able to strike a perfect balance of skills to really excel at it is no small feat. Her prices are more than fair for what she brings to the table, she had a second photographer on the day of our wedding and she puts an unbelievable amount of time into editing the photos, the results speak for themselves. If she’s available for your wedding you should hire her immediately.
Our friends and family have never looked more radiant than they do in the pictures she captured at our wedding, we are so blessed to have these memories forever thanks to her.
We are thrilled with the overall experience and results of this photographer and her assistant. Both were a pleasure to work with and wonderful to have around on the wedding day. O...
ur families felt completely comfortable during the photo session; she had people smiling and laughing but was also very efficient. On top of that, THE PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL! I mean really, seriously beautiful.
Such a pleasure to work with Kathy! She is on top of everything as works as hard as the wedding planner to make sure everything goes smoothly and that all the must-have photos are ...
captured. She is very organized both before the event and day off. While being on top of things she still manages to have a laid back personality and blends into the background so you barely remember she has a camera all up in your face. haha. Plus, the photos came out Beautifully!! She captured our love and our special day so well. We will cherish her photos for years to come. Highly recommend!
Kathy is PHENOMENAL.
Hire her NOW, you absolutely will not regret it.
I will recommend her 1000000x over to any and everyone I know who needs photos taken or is getting married.

From our first zoom meeting, to our engagement shoot to our wedding day she has continued to impress us. We love that Kathy is the perfect combo of type A organized (checking her shot list, keeping an eye on time, has a plan), chill and FAST. We also love how dedicated and detail oriented she is, I'll never forget how she told us that she'll sometimes photoshop out things in photos. She's also SO quick with email, always responding with 24 hours which was so appreciated. I never felt like I had to chase her or send follow up emails like I did with some of our other vendors.
For our engagement shoot we shot in 6 different locations within a 6 block radius in 2 hours and not once did we feel rushed or like we were running out of time. On our wedding day it was the same - Kathy had a plan, but she was also great on the fly and flexible when we had told her we also wanted to get certain shots. She got the shots and more!
She's also has the most easy going, friendly personality that instantly puts you at ease especially my husband who isn't comfortable in front of a camera. And she directs you in a way that feels natural. She's also THE BEST hype woman, really making you feel awesome, beautiful/handsome and like a rockstar as she snaps photos of you. Something that I really love that she does is periodically show you what she's shooting - it gets you excited and gives you a glimpse of what she's shooting, which makes you feel really great and confident with what she's doing.
Kathy was also great about checking in on us as well. Making sure we were doing ok and hydrated. There was a point when certain people were late to take photos that made me a little anxious about timing and getting all the photos we wanted done, but very quickly Kathy pivoted, got other shots and before I knew it we had taken all the photos I wanted before the ceremony began. This allowed us to enjoy the whole cocktail hour with our friends/family like we hoped.
She even sent us some sneak peak photos just 3 days after the wedding and we're already in awe. With our photos being one of our wedding priorities, hiring Kathy to capture our big day was the best decision we made!
Kathy is truly incredible. I love her energy day in and day out! Our prep leading up to our Wedding was easy and made everything comfortable for both of us. Our photos are insanely...
beautiful and she captured such love and warmth during our big day. She is a true professional, worked so well and encouraged all of our vendors day-of and was extremely personable with not only our immediate family but all of our guests. I couldn't imagine a better photographer and encourage all to check her out!

oth our engagement session and wedding day. She really went above and beyond to help our wedding day be magical. Not to mention she is super talented and we are obsessed with the photos we have already received from her!

e my friend, my sister, and sometimes even my mom. She is truly that special and caring.
Kathy made our wedding day beyond amazing! I was lucky enough to be a bridesmaid in a wedding that Kathy shot last summer. I was able to see her work for 8+ hours that day and knew I really liked her at that point. Once I saw the gallery from that wedding, I knew I HAD to have her for my wedding. During our initial meeting with her, my husband knew exactly why I wanted her to shoot our wedding. Her passion and talent are unmatched!
When she arrived on our big day, she immediately lit up the room and everyone could feel her energy. Her assistant Gabby and she got to work immediately taking detail photos, dress photos, getting ready photos. One of my bridesmaids commented “wow…she is really good” after about 5 minutes of seeing her work. She is incredibly creative and makes everyone feel special and beautiful!
The ceremony, bridal party, and family pictures went so well! Kathy and Gabby were so organized and kept the family photos going on schedule. She loves her job so much, which is apparent in the energy she brings during a shoot.
The reception was so smooth and fun! Kathy was like our shadow, following us from table to table, without us evening telling her that was our plan. She picked up on our movement and made sure to be nearby to catch candid moments. I cannot wait to see pictures from the reception and dancing!
Overall, we feel so lucky to be a part of Kathy’s portfolio! There is not a better choice for your wedding day!!
We had the pleasure of having Kathy DeNinno photograph both our engagement and our wedding! It quickly became apparent that Kathy absolutely loves her job. Although she shoots main...
ly out of LA, we loved her work so much that we knew we had to have her for our outdoor Northern California wedding. Kathy connected easily with us right away. She is kind, extremely thorough and very funny! But it's her photography skills that are truly amazing. She has a unique and elegant style--I could not have asked for a better person to capture our day. She made the bridal party feel at ease and made everyone laugh throughout the entire process. Kathy is experienced at photographing weddings and it shows. All of our vendors commented on how they loved working with her. Kathy gave my husband and I few sneak peak photos shortly after the wedding which brought us both to tears! I can't wait to see the entire album! Kathy was a HUGE part of our wedding and why it was so perfect. We can't thank her enough!
Where do I even start?! Her photos are gorgeous and she has such an eye for locations, angles and all of the details. The editing is spot on and her photos make you feel like the b...
est version of yourself. Beyond her spectacular skills, Kathy is organized, attentive and dependable. She flawlessly balances what the bride/groom want with all of the family member asks and does so with such respect and grace. She is so open to your vision and making sure that she is giving you what you want but at the same time provides such sound advice and direction. Kathy makes you feel SO calm during the entire process—from the moment you hire her to your wedding day. Even more, she is a super cool person that you want to be friends with. Seriously could not have asked for a better person to capture our wedding – we are DYING to get all of the photos after seeing the sneak peeks. Don’t even think about it, just hire her for your wedding (or any photog needs!!). She’s simply the best!
I could talk all day about why you should book Kathy but I'll try to keep it concise. 1.) VERY organized. She kept us on tract during our engagement shoot setting at least 15 timer...
s to make sure we would hit all of our spots in a timely manner. On the wedding day her and her 2nd shooter really kept us on time, organized, and she even helped me carry my train and veil around. She was basically my second maid of honor. 2.) The quality of photos are spectacular. And not just the editing but the choice of angles, background, detail photos, and action shots. We look at the photos and really remember every last detail because of her photos. 3.) Personality. She is energetic but down to earth. She is honest but accommodating to your vision. She is empathetic to the chaos that ultimately goes on day-of and offers support if you need it, which I did haha. 4.) Price. She is worth every penny and is reasonably priced for her services. You will not be disappointed!
This will not be the last time we work together and I can't wait to work with her again. Book her now!!
Kathy is absolutely AMAZING!! She is such a gem and so sweet. All of her photos are gorgeous and so real. She truly knows how to capture such a special moment. She is super attenti...
ve, accommodating, and simply just the best! She gets sneak peeks to you almost instantly and it’s such a tease because they’re so good that you can’t wait to see the full album. I HIGHLY recommend Kathy as your photographer. She is so rad and very down to earth and you’ll totally want to always hangout with her :) You won’t be disappointed with Kathy’s work!
Kathy shot our wedding in June of this year. We were referred to her by our wedding coordinator and Kathy definitely lived up to her reputation. From the beginning Kathy was extrem...
ely prompt in responding to our inquiries and an absolute pleasure to work with. On the day of the wedding Kathy and her team arrived, ready to go. My wife and I don't always like the camera pointed on us but Kathy and her team made it so fun and special. We shared many laughs that day, including a run in with a cow! After the wedding Kathy returned photos to us extremely fast. We thoroughly enjoyed reviewing our photos and reliving our special day. I would only recommend Kathy moving forward. Thanks again! Joey and Kori
In the sea of selection for wedding photographers, it can get a little overwhelming with choices, as well as the huge range in price. For us, it was a relatively quick process sin...
ce Kathy's portfolio shined through all the others initially, and we were immediately impressed when we first contacted her due to her professionalism, laser quick responsiveness, extreme attention to detail/ organized with a fun, friendly and warm personality to boot. Kathy made the communication of what we were looking for was very easy, offering her expertise and experience when we had no idea what we wanted to do and was extremely patient, positive and kind through my 50 million emails of questions!
On the day of the shoot, Kathy was there early, stayed late, and in the time in between when my husband and I were busy, Kathy not only didn't need any direction, but was the self-starter we needed, even helping us guide others as well! Needless to say, her portfolio and product is FLAWLESS. Not only was Kathy a gem to work with, we fell in love with our wedding ceremony pictures because she was able not only to capture beautiful imagery but the happiness, love and raw emotions of the day. We love her so much, we're definitely going to be working with her again for our photos for our receptions with our friends and family!
P.S. This raving review comes from a couple that self-describes themselves to be pretty high maintenance and picky! =)

k and the book of photos she put together for us was beautiful!
She made our wedding day so special and stress-free, and the photos we've seen so far are amazing! We can't wait to get some printed and display them! The second shooter she hired, Kristina, was amazing as well. They're so much fun to be around and really easy to get along with.
Throughout the planning process, Kathy checked in and had lots of great tips and advice, as well as planning documents to keep everything on track.
If we were to plan our wedding again, we would 100% hire Kathy again in a heartbeat :)

thy and a friendly giraffe. Photography was one of the most important aspects of our big day because we knew it's what we'd have to remember everything and Kathy did such a great job documenting every detail of our wedding! Not only is her work beautiful but she is also a delight to work with. We can't sing enough praise!!

r wedding photos! Her engagement photo book was perfect and very high quality. She provided us with suggestions on where to have our engagement photos taken.
She accommodated outfit changes and going to 2 different locations for our engagement shoot! Kathy is very responsive through email and helped answer our multiple questions along the way. Kathy made herself available prior to our engagement shoot to scout the area before we even arrived. Kathy met us at our wedding venue to pick the perfect spots for our day of pictures. She is very easy to get along with and made us feel so comfortable. Kathy went above and beyond our standards. You are able to trust that she will do an amazing job and immediately backs up any pictures. She treats your photos as if they were her own. Kathy made taking the wedding day photos a breeze and quickly switched people in and out for family photos. Kathy is very sweet, professional, and a blast to work with! We highly recommend her for any professional pictures that you are in need of!

pecial day. When we met at our engagement photoshoot she made us feel so comfortable and we were laughed and we had so much fun. When it came to our wedding day, she captured our day in ways I didn't even know possible and captured such beautiful photos of our most intimate moments. Everyone was so complimentary on how professional Kathy & her second photographer was. While planning your wedding and even day of, you want people you can trust and feel comfortable with. Without a doubt, Kathy is that person. She will not only be your friend but she will produce incredible photography. Simply put, she is simply the best and worth every penny.
Kathy is flexible, thoughtful, and incredibly talented. She photographed our wedding and I can't praise her - or her work - enough.
She was an absolute delight to work with. Kath...
y spent time getting to know us, listened to what we wanted, and offered great advice. She built a reasonably priced package that met our needs. And Kathy was totally amenable to a last minute adjustment, adding more time and a second location.
At the wedding, Kathy and Annie (another fab photographer) immediately made me feel relaxed and confident, and their positive attitudes were a joy to be around. Plus, they set up and ran the photo booth, including a template, props, printing. And I still can't believe they captured such a wide range of photos between the two of them!
And wow, Kathy is FAST! Thanks to her, we were ahead of schedule and could spend more time enjoying our wedding.
From gorgeous posed photos to incredible candid shots, every picture is beautiful. She's got an eye for detail and interesting angles. Thanks to Kathy, our wedding photos are unique and perfectly capture who we are.

y responsive to whatever your questions and ideas are, and I felt like she was there with me every step of the way through my entire wedding planning process.
I received a lot of compliments on the photos and the bridal team also commented to me on how calm and collected she was throughout the wedding day.
Go check out her website to see how talented she is.
Great pricing for all of the work and effort she puts into documenting your special day/event. I can't wait to have another life event come up so that I can hire her. :) Thank you so much Kathy xoxo!!
Kathy really made our wedding extra special. Your talent behind the lens is truly amazing.

Kathy took our engagement pictures as well as covered our wedding day along with Jo. Spending time with them was a blast and they got some amazing shots!
Thank you Kathy for capturing our love!
Kathy has an eye for fantastic shots! She is so committed to this art. She was our photog for our wedding in Sunset Beach CA. It was a simple ceremony with family only (16 people),...
we had little to no decor on the beach; it was just us, the sand and the water in the back with some washed up seaweed. Kathy took all those elements and produced amazing shots! She even brought morning glory sticks to create these circle/bubble/light spec looking things in our shot. She is so creative. We are so happy with Kathy's work and recommend her to all of our friends. Thank you Kathy! - We love you! - The Morita's
She's amazing. That's the short and honest truth of it.
Choosing a photographer can be a very stressful experience. Spend 5 minutes with Kathy and she will completely disarm you ...
with her warm personality. Spend another 5 minutes reviewing her work and there wont be a doubt in your mind you have found your photographer.
Her ability to capture the most intimate and natural moments is what drew us to her work and she did not disappoint. It was a wonderful experience and we could not have asked for a better photographer.

dena, CA, and Kathy was able to make the most of the location, making for some amazing shots. We even included our stubborn bulldog in the session and Kathy was especially patient with her (and us!). We only get a few special moments in a lifetime, and to be able to capture those moments in pictures is priceless. Kathy understands this and it shows in her work. We could not have asked for a better photographer. Thank you, Kathy!!!

er. We checked out a couple of options but after seeing Kathy's work our mind was made up. Aside from the amazing shots of us in the moment ,she was so good at setting up the family photos, and especially the photos of just my wife and I. The photos of us were amazing, but one thing I also look at is the photos of others. She captured some amazing shots of our family and friends that they have put up in their house, which is also what we wanted! We didn't have to tell her to take certain shots. It's like she already knew what we were thinking! We constantly look through the pictures she sent us. She's the best and I highly recommend her!!! Thank you Kathy!!

en they saw these. She was great at wrangling the family together and getting the shots in quickly. She captured all of the important moments and details, but thankfully the day didn't feel like one big photo shoot. Some photographers can be over-bearing and really detract from the actual moment, but it's not like that at all w Kathy. The photos came back to us very quickly after the wedding as well. I really can't say enough good things!

entire process of planning our wedding, Kathy was there for us as so much more than just a photographer. She always went above and beyond in every step of the process and I started to turn to her for much more than I probably should of, and Kathy being as sweet as she is, never complained. She helped us with our timeline for the day of, sat on any phone call I needed her to be on, was always available for in-person meetings for us when we were in town (we live out of town). I know she has other clients, but she always made us feel like we were her only couple and her enthusiasm was contagious. On the day of, she was amazing and by the end of the day other vendors and guest leaned on her for questions over our coordinator. The icing on the cake of course was the pictures turned out beautiful and she sent them earlier than promised. Overall, if I could give Kathy 10 stars I would. She was by far our favorite vendor and was a huge part of making our day perfect!

ng stages, she set up a coffee date to get to know us as a couple and what was important to our wedding. Then she worked closely with us to create a custom package within our tight budget. Throughout planning she was quick to respond to any email or text, something I value highly especially since we planned the event ourselves. At the wedding, she was EVERYWHERE while flawlessly blending in with guests. Looking back at our pictures, she captured every important moment of my new husband and me, as well as moments we missed while mingling- truly, I don't know how she did it! The quality of the photos is an absolute dream and she was such a lovely presence to have around on my special day. Guests even made a point to let us know after the wedding how much they enjoyed our photographer. Thank you, Kathy!

ofessional photographs of ourselves, but Kathy put us to ease instantly. Kathy was so warm and attentive, always looking for the perfect natural moments that my fiancé and I shared. She gave us direction when we were unsure of what to do but allowed us to share our thoughts on how we wanted to look. We found Kathy to be extremely professional and we have the best memories of the day she photographed us. After that special shoot with Kathy, we knew we would be calling on her for all of life's future special occasions. Our wedding, holiday cards, babies and & beyond! Honestly, we were crushed when we found out that Kathy already had a wedding to shoot when we finally chose our wedding date, but she gave us a stellar referral. Of course she did, Kathy Deninno Photography is the best!

ork style will put you at ease, even the particular brides can relax because their photos are in great hands. My wedding photos were amazing, even better than I expected or imagined. Kathy captured the vibe and tone of the wedding perfectly. I worried that my photos would fall flat but the complete opposite happened. I have so many great shots it's difficult to decide which photos will go in our wedding album!! Hire Kathy as your photographer, you will not be disappointed.

r my wedding. I met with her in person and clicked with her instantly and knew I definitely had to book her because there is no better than her! After shooting our engagement session it was definitely even more clear that she was the right choice because it was like spending time with a friend. It can be pretty awkward having someone in your face and personal space and on top of that taking pictures, but Kathy was so much fun to be around and both my husband and I were laughing the entire time, which might I add makes for incredible pictures! Not to mention, that the day of the wedding not only went incredibly smooth, but guests were raving about how professional and fun Kathy was. We took most of the pictures during cocktail hour and Kathy was beyond ahead of schedule with our timeline goal. Big plus, get the photobooth too--definitely won't regret it! For all events and just fun photoshoots, definitely go with Kathy, she's amazing and delivers!

titude and we felt so comfortable with her during the entire process. During our wedding, Kathy worked with the DJ to keep us on track, which was a relief to us knowing that we were in capable hands and helped us not stress. She is very professional and genuinely a very sweet person, which is a plus on top of the amazing work she does. We would highly recommend Kathy!!

a Tree and utilizing that beautiful landscape into our wedding photos. She made us feel so comfortable, and most importantly, it was such a fun experience getting our photos taken. As a shy couple, we have trouble being in front of the camera, but I didn't feel that way at all with Kathy directing us. She is game for any location and drove such a long ways to meet us for our elopement! I can't thank her enough! On top of that, she was very timely in getting the photos back to us. It is obvious that she cares a lot about her job and her clients. You will be making a great choice by hiring Kathy for your wedding or elopement.

ersonable and she works with the utmost level of professionalism. She checked in with us about a week prior to our shoot just to confirm and get as many additional details as possible. We had some questions re: outfits and she was more than happy to answer our questions and provide us with recommendations as to what would capture best/be best for the look we were going for. Prior to our photo shoot, Kathy scoped out our location in order to provide us with ideas re: the best places/positions to shoot in order to achieve the vision we both had. While shooting, she makes you feel completely comfortable and at ease - which made our job SO much easier! Kathy provided us with our finished pictures in no time at all - and we were in love with her work! She 100% captured the vision we were going for and we could not be any more thrilled with the way they turned out. Kathy - you are the best and we are so thankful for your work, as we now have these memories captured to enjoy for a lifetime :) Thanks again!

Kathy is amazing! She shot our wedding October 11, 2014. She came early, stayed late, and got us the most incredible photos of our perfect day. My husband and I really had no idea ...
what to expect as we had never worked with a professional photographer before, but Kathy made us feel so comfortable and totally figured out what feel we were going for. She is so passionate about her job, and keeps the creativity flowing. Kathy will, without a doubt, continue to be our family photographer for all of our milestones. She also just shot my sister's senior portraits. We love Kathy!
Kathy is the BEST photographer to work with hands down! I interviewed several photographers before deciding to go with Kathy, and she was my first wedding vendor I booked. From the...
moment we started emailing then spoke on the phone I would have sworn we were longtime friends which is perfect because you want to be comfortable with the person shooting one of the most important days of your life! After doing a site visit with Kathy we ended up booking her for the rehearsal dinner as well, since a lot of our family would be meeting for the first time. She has sent us one sneak peak photo so far and it was BREATHTAKING! She captured a perfect moment during our first dance as husband and wife. Kathy is an amazing photographer and person!! You should definitely use her for ANY photographer needed! I know she will be our family photographer from now on! :)
I loved working with Kathy! She has an incredible "eye" and takes amazing photos! She was the photographer at my recent wedding and I can honestly say that out of over 500-1000 pic...

I hired Kathy as the photographer for our daughter's wedding on 6/22/14. When we first met with Kathy for an interview, we immediately took a liking to her. She was very personab...
le and professional. We were impressed with her portfolios and felt she would be a perfect fit for us. Not to mention she was just a sweetheart!
Kathy arrived at the venue on time (even a bit earlier if I recall). She took photos of everything and every detail you could think of. Even some of the guests mentioned how Kathy was always at the right place and the right time. When we received the link to the photos (I believe it was around two weeks after the wedding), we were so impressed with the quality and how all of the photos turned out.
I would definitely recommend Kathy for your photography services! You won't be disappointed!
My Fiancé and I got the chance to work with Kathy for our engagement pictures at Disneyland! It was extremely hot that day and super crowded, but that never even phased her. I was ...
so impressed with her ideas of capturing us together. She has so much patience to take the time to capture the shot just right before we went on to the next site. We received our pictures in a week and we love them all, it’s extremely hard to just pick one as our favorite! Currently she offers custom albums what we can’t wait to order and have forever! We loved working with Kathy and can’t wait to see her at our wedding!
I say this in a good way! Not only were the pictures she took just shockingly, breathtakingly amazing, she seemed to be in 8 places at once for a lot of them! Me and my husband wer...
e going through them and thinking "how did she get that? I didn't even see her!" She got all the moments I loved from my ceremony and reception and then some. I was get weepy every time I look at them because of how perfectly the moment was captured.
If you want a photographer who is not only going to take your picture but capture who you two are as a couple and the actual feelings of the day, go with Kathy!
On top of everything, she is a super nice person! She listens to what you want and delivers! I'm going to recommend her to everyone! Amazing Photographer!

edding perfectly... So many beautiful shots. For both the engagement and wedding photos, Kathy took the time to scout out locations and poses before hand. I was not the easiest bride or deal with (frequently changing my mind and a little bossy) and Kathy was patient and kind through it all. Also, her turn around time is super fast.... Only 2 weeks for the wedding photos
