We hired Katie to choreograph our first dance and she did not disappoint! The practices were so much fun! She did a fantastic job creating a dance that us beginners could handle while still being very 'showy'. We received many compliments and had a great time doing it!

I have been the Artistic Director of Katie Barlow Dance Projects and in the wedding industry since 2014 and I am new to The Knot! If I am not directing, choreographing and producing dance classes & flash mobs throughout Upstate, NY, I am working with clients on wedding dance lessons. I decided to teach wedding dance lessons because I knew that I could help those who might be nervous and were looking to feel confident on the dance floor as well as for those who wanted more of a flashmob styled dance. If I'm not on the dance floor, you can find me having fun with friends, family or traveling!

king about today. My husband and I are not dancers, but Katie made each session SO fun and broke all the steps down in a way that allowed us to learn the dance quickly and easily. We were worried about dancing in front of such a large group with all eyes on us, but having our routine allowed us to just focus on each other and the moment. An added bonus was that the moves Katie taught us made for some very beautiful photos. Thanks for everything Katie, we are so grateful!!

ere our abilities were. Even though she planned out the whole dance, she was open to changes based on what we were comfortable with. I had just had a big knee surgery two months before we started lessons and she was so accommodating and willing to take things slow based on how I was feeling. We are so thankful Katie played a role in our big day and will remember our first dance for years to come!
