TLDR: Katie is one of the best decisions you can make during your wedding season. Her incredible attention to detail and genuine passion for her work translates to one of a kind ph...
otos to remember your day. Book her!!
Short story long: I discovered Katie through Instagram when searching for a film photographer in Nashville for our engagement photos. We were hoping to test out a potential wedding photographer through this experience and it took practically no time at all to realize we'd found the person we wanted to capture our day. Katie made us feel comfortable, had clearly studied the inspo I shared with her while adding her own style, and gave us helpful direction throughout the whole process. We signed a contract to get her booked for our day in the northeast shortly after.
Again, on our wedding day, she made sure we were comfortable and able to be fully ourselves, and man, does this SHOW in the pictures. Our friends and family can't stop raving about the final product and acknowledging how the photos Katie captures every emotion we were feeling on our wedding day. They somehow feel both raw and polished. The biggest ask we had for Katie was that she captured our grandmothers, nieces, and nephew, and when I tell you KATIE UNDERSTOOD THIS ASSIGNMENT. In our gallery, we received some of the most beautiful candids of these special people that we could ever imagine.
I could go on and on about the positive experiences we had with Katie and her work, but if you're looking for a communicative photographer who makes sure you feel like yourself on your wedding day, provides 50+ previews within a few days of your wedding, and delivers a gallery that makes you feel like you're reliving each and every moment, Katie is it. Your photographer and videographer are two of the most important vendors to consider--they help to make your wedding day memories infinite. If you're going to spend thousands on a single day, make sure you have a photographer you adore to capture it all. Katie was worth every penny and more.
We were so thrilled with our experience with Katie! We did our engagement photos and wedding photos with her and she made everything so quick and painless. She captured so many aut...
hentic moments from our day and it felt like the focus of the day was on sharing special moments with my husband, friends, and family and never on photography (which I loved!). I love her documentary/editorial photography style. We got our gallery back the other day and I am so thankful that we will always have those photos that tell the story of our day so well. It was a wonderful experience and I can't recommend her enough.
Katie is wonderful! Very easy-going, has lots of ideas, flexible with wants and needs. Detail-oriented and a fun personality!
Katie was amazing to work with! She honestly saved the day, as everything about our wedding changed - from the venue, to the guest list, to the state, and we were desperately looki...
ng for a new photographer - she was punctual, and so sweet and easy to work with! I find that a photographer who can direct without being bossy is hard to come across - and Katie did just that! She gets the job done while being professional, personable, and kind to everyone! I love our photos, and honestly did not even break a sweat about them while waiting to get them back because I knew they would be incredible (and they were!). She's great, and I am so looking forward to hiring her again! The only regret I have is not hiring her for more hours on our wedding day! Book the full day if you're able - you won't regret it!
Katie is truly the best! She did such an amazing job of making sure she captured our special day exactly as we remember it! She went above and beyond helping with the timeline, det...
ails, and just the overall flow of the day. She is so good at keeping everyone on track while also having a calm, relaxed demeanor. We got our pictures back so fast! And we absolutely love them!
Honestly don’t think the day would have gone half as smoothly without her! Truly can’t recommend her enough!!
We always do anniversary pictures and take 15 minutes or so to put on our wedding clothes and reminisce about our wedding day. This past May we took an early "anniversary" trip to...
Bolt Farm Treehouse and wanted pictures done - it is beautiful there! I looked for recs and Katie was the first rec giving to me. She was almost immediate in her response! She was extremely friendly and kind and really great to work with! She was sweet and captured us perfectly.
We did have a mix-up on dates, and didn't get the Pinterest mood board we discussed prior, but she did all she could to work within our budget and take advantage of the time we had together! Absolutely loved the experience we had with Katie, and will definitely use her again if we're traveling!
In LOVE with Katie’s passion and drive. Her photos are a absolute dream and so is her intentional work ethic! Would hire Katie 8million times if I could!
Katie was beyond wonderful! I really can't recommend her enough. She was direct and polite, and gave clear directions that we were all appreciative of. We even got our sneak peek l...
ess than 24 hours after the wedding! Every photo is just stunning. We're so glad we hired her, and would do so again in a heartbeat!
We could not have asked for a better photographer for our small wedding in the woods! We are such a low key couple and it was so important for us to find vendors that understood ou...
r awkwardness and our love for nontraditional things. And Katie was just that! After working with her for our engagement photos for 10 minutes, she instantly clicked with us. She was so down to earth and let us be ourselves in goofy poses that weren't forced. For a couple that has known each other for 10 years and has never had professional photos taken, her photos have meant the world to us. Katie is so quick and efficient at what she does, all without compromising quality. We can't believe how many photos we got back from both our engagement photos and our wedding. We cannot thank Katie enough for being a part of one of our most special days!
Katie is a gem. She captured our Ouray elopement so incredibly well. Not only is she a joy to be around, she really loves what she does and it shows. There was no detail left out a...
nd I never had to worry about a single thing. The second I tried to grab something from my bag she was already 3 steps ahead of me so I could really enjoy the moment and be present. She also set up our charcuterie board and picnic, like cmon how sweet is that. She even accommodated my mother after she broke her ankle the night before our elopement and went above and beyond to make the day go off without a hitch. Being in front of her camera felt comfortable, like a friend you’ve known for years.
Her cueing is so helpful and once our ceremony started, we felt so comfortable to be ourselves. I barely noticed she was there and it really let us have our raw moments and emotions. She’s just incredible and I can’t wait for the next time I get to work with her.
I could not recommend her more and would give more stars if I could! Thank you, Katie. You truly created a day we will never forget!
We absolutely loved our engagement and wedding pictures from Katie. I booked her 9 months before the wedding and she stayed in contact with me the whole time, whether it was friend...
ly emails or dm’s on Instagram. What really blew me away was the wedding day. Katie did amazing. She was able to get through pictures with both our crazy loud families and friends lol. She was also the one to help me with my dress when I was standing at the end of the aisle. For bride and groom photos she brought us up to a beautiful spot on top of a mountain when a storm was rolling in and took amazing pictures! I was so thankful she has such an adventurous and fun spirit!
Katie was absolutely fantastic to work with, we adore the photos!! We couldn’t be happier, she does amazing work!
Katie was absolutely incredible! Last minute we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19 and decided to elope instead! Katie was extremely flexible as we made changes. She is an...
absolute pleasure to work with. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. All of our photos were AMAZING and I could never thank her enough. Katie captured every second of our day perfectly and went above and beyond anything I could've hoped for! Would recommend her a million times!
Katie is truly incredible! She was a second shooter who was hired by my photographer for my wedding, and boy I wish she had just been my only photographer. Needless to say the phot...
os I received from my main photog were heart breakingly awful. I had connected with Katie via Instagram and reached out to her hoping she had a few photos that I could cherish from the day. Katie did not disappoint! She made a whole album for me providing me photos that I hadn't even seen and every single one was amazing! She really saved the day for me and I wish I could give her 10 stars. I now have beautiful genuine and flattering photos to remember my wedding day with, and I wouldn't have that without Katie. She's not only a great photographer, but also friendly and professional. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. THANK YOU SO MUCH KATIE!!!
