capture our wedding. Katie was extremely professional, calming and an expert at shooting our day. Katie made sure that we were comfortable the whole time and went with the flow when things changed. Within a week, we got so many highlight photos, making us SO happy. Two months after our wedding, we got our entire album! Every single photo was incredible and allows us to relive our day, over and over. We hired both Vinny (her husband) and Katie for our video and photos- highly recommend this power couple! We love Katie and wish we could have 5 more weddings so that we could hire them again! You won't regret hiring her for your day!

When I was looking for a photographer I was looking for 2 things: (1) That they took good pics and edited them in the style that we wanted and (2) that the photographer had good vibes and energy. We knew that this person was going to present for all of our most intimate moments so we wanted to be sure they had a good attitude and positive energy. Katie checked all of the boxes and was the ABSOLUTE BEST! Her work speaks for itself (have you seen her stuff!?) but what you can't see online is what a great asset having her with you on your wedding day is. She was such a calming, warming and happy presence on our wedding day which made all of the difference as we were dealing with unforeseen gale force winds and rain on our wedding day (so fun! lol). I remember at one point in the day when I was visibly overwhelmed she calmly checked in with me and asked "Do you need a minute? Do you want to take a step outside?" These small questions made me feel so taken care of and helped keep me grounded on our wedding day. No matter how much you plan things will go wrong and having vendors, especially a photographer, that can keep a positive attitude and be able to roll with the punches was key to having an enjoyable wedding day. Katie captured all of our moments and we had so many of our loved ones sing her praises even during the event. We loved getting the polaroids at the end of the night and getting a highlight gallery within 3 days of our wedding was icing on the cake!! Getting those photos so quickly after the wedding is such a fun way to reflect on a whirlwind of a day and extend the wedding hype a little more! We are so incredibly thankful for Katie and couldn't recommend her more!

the most important things for our wedding day! We hired Katie for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding. She was nothing short of amazing! Punctual and professional, but relaxed and fun she really is the total package! Katie put us at ease right away at our engagement shoot and we knew we hired the perfect photographer for us! She is outgoing, but never overbearing and does not pose you too much. She lets you be natural in the moment. At our wedding, Katie made sure to capture all of our most special moments without having us feel like we were really being photographed. She was never obtrusive, and she made sure to not block any of the guests' experiences, but she even got out on the dance floor and danced with us!! The polaroids she gives you on the night of your wedding are a special keepsake we will have forever along with all of the other amazing photos. We love Katie and would recommend her to anyone who wants to hire THE BEST photographer for their wedding!

r our puppy, and now our wedding. She blew us away each time. Her photos are spectacular and really capture the moment and vibe. One of the reasons her photos are so amazing, is that Katie is such a warm and kind person, she makes you feel your most comfortable best self in front of the camera. Before booking a photographer we didn’t realize how important their personality is - we got so lucky with Katie, she’s warm, calm, and after our shoots we feel like we have known her forever. She’s a friend for life now! She truly is the best and I couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you Katie!

utiful. She was so sweet, kind, and professional. I can't say enough good things about her or her work. Anyone that chooses to have their wedding captured by her will not be disappointed. We are so grateful for our photographs.

e of calming yet confident energy that you want surrounding you on your wedding day. Hiring Katie was without a doubt one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding, and I will forever be grateful for her and the beautiful way that she captured the memories of our very favorite day. First off, the photos! Our wedding photos turned out even more gorgeous than I could have possibly imagined. It's hard to convey in words how much I love them, but I am SO glad we chose Katie and that we have these images to cherish forever. The images captured the vibe of the day and our love so well, I feel like I'm back on the day of our wedding every time I look at them. The polaroids were a really special touch, and it was so fun to have physical pictures to relive the magic the day after. Then there is Katie herself. I can't understate how much it meant to me to be surrounded on my wedding day by vendors who felt like friends and whose vibes were calming and positive amidst the chaos. Katie was exactly that. When we first met her, Katie felt like the type of sweet, laid back, honest person my husband and I would be friends with, and that made it so much easier and more fun to work with her during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. So many of our friends and family commented on how much they loved her and how great she was at the wedding, and one of my bridesmaids already hired Katie to shoot her own! I would wholeheartedly recommend Katie to absolutely anyone looking for a wedding photographer. She is a true gem and you won't regret it!

our vendors. Katie was the very first person I had booked because I loved her style and how you could feel such emotion in her photos. My husband and I hate being the Center of attention, Katie and her assistant made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. It felt like we had known her forever that’s how amazing she is!! Once we recieved our pictures my knees buckled they were better then I could have ever imagined. So if you are in need of a photographer in California, looks no further she’s your gal!!

irst phone call we had with her. She helped give us direction and kept us on schedule on our wedding day! Katie and her assistant, Ashley are the perfect team. Katie will climb up STEEP vineyard hills just to get the perfect sunset shot! We can’t thank her enough and couldn’t be happier with our photos! Xo

very single one!

am obsessed with my wedding photos!! Could have not asked for anything better. If I could do it all over again I would choose Katie!

found our gal! When my husband and I met her in person for the first time at our engagement shoot, Katie made us (not huge photo takers) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. When it came down to the wedding day (and rehearsal), Katie was amazing -- she is incredibly professional, both firm and friendly in her direction (which was necessary with our huge wedding party!), and also captured the intimate bride & groom moments perfectly. The best surprise was coming back to the bride & groom suite to find all the polaroids from the day waiting for us — such a thoughtful and personal touch from Katie. And when we received our first batch of photos, we absolutely died. They are not only stunning but Katie's innate ability to capture the special moments shines through with each one. Since then, I've gotten countless inquiries about who photographed our wedding and would proudly recommend this incredibly talented photographer to any future bride! Thanks, Katie! :)

friends' and friends of friends' weddings and all the photos from their weddings were stunning! That's why we hired her for our wedding. In addition, Katie is so friendly, sweet, calming, and easy to work with. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and not look awkward in front of a camera. Don't forget to add-on the polaroids option to the wedding day too-they are so fun to look through at the end of the night. I can't say enough good things about this girl and her photography skills. Hire her for your wedding ASAP!

ight of our wedding was such a treat! It was a very nice way to end the night being able to catch a glimpse of what the actual pictures would look like a few weeks later. And then when the time came to see the final pictures...WOW! It's like she read my mind and knew exactly how I wanted it all to look like. Thank you so much for all that you did for us and thank you for making us feel instantly calm and comfortable when you came around. You are truly incredible.

sure we felt special, comfortable and received the photos of our dreams. She took hundreds of beautiful photos of us, each expertly done. She captured the moment so perfectly and beautifully that it took us hours on end to select the ones we wanted on our announcements. We ultimately just did a random selection because we couldn’t go wrong with any of them. I would absolutely recommend Katie to anyone looking for a photographer for the most important moments in your life.

h her during our shoot and couldn't have asked for better quality photos in the end. Her photos were so beautiful and expertly done, it brought my future mother-in-law to tears! She was also incredibly helpful in answering every single one of our questions (i.e. what to wear, etc.) as we prepared for our shoot in the weeks and days leading up to our engagement shoot. I highly recommend. Worth every penny!

it was clear she just wanted to do beautiful photography with no vested interest in the classic wedding shots and lineups. And the day we met she generously took photos of us for our wedding announcement, without charging us. When the big day came Katie was there early (she drove all the way to Ojai), putting absolutely zero pressure on us to pose or arrange shots, but knowing intuitively what moments mattered. It takes empathy to read our dynamic and the energy of the group as well as she does. Looking at the photography later, it's incredible how many meaningful moments she grabbed without us noticing. She's like a mindreader and a shapeshifter, everywhere at once. She also truly captured the scenery and light around us -- you can tell from the photos that she appreciated the natural beauty that we wanted to share with our loved ones. Katie stayed well beyond the contracted time, to make sure we had some photo time on the dance floor. Beyond all this, the work was delivered quickly, she communicated extremely professionally, and her rate was much more affordable than most quotes we received. We're still reliving the day through her work, which, we guess, is the whole point of a wedding photographer. We're very grateful!

wedding, there's always that question in the back of your head wondering if you hired the right people to make and capture your day. With Katie, we never worried. Our friends and family, the day after the wedding even came up to us and told us how much they loved our photographer! There's no question if she's great, we love Katie and plan to use her for any events that life has yet to bring us.

ld 100% recommend her to anyone who is in search for an incredible photographer to capture the most important day/days of your life : )

my special day. Katie is so talented that my husband and I flew her up to Northern California for the weekend. She went above and beyond (and even came to our rehearsal dinner the night before too!) All our guests remarked what a pleasure she is to be around and that she even seemed invisible during the actual wedding. When we saw the final digital photos 1 week later (and the next day in Polaroid's!) we couldn't believe she had captured so much. You must absolutely work with Katie Edwards!

smooth and also so much fun! She is kind, funny, and super talented. She knew exactly how to make us laugh, feel comfortable and get the overall vision of what we were looking for. We are so thankful to have worked with Katie! And I know that any couple would be thrilled to have her by their side on such a special occasion.

perience really fun and enjoyable even though the wedding day was a bit stressful. Our wedding was in the summer and it was blazing hot. Nevertheless, Katie took tons of beautiful photos for us! She pays attention to detail and she has a really creative eye. She did an amazing job capturing all the different emotions during our wedding day. Katie was working non stop throughout the day and went above and beyond to be sure to document our special day for us. Anytime anyone asks for a photography referral, we will be recommending her to all of our friends and family.

k amazing, she captured every special moment and has given us memories of our engagement and wedding that we will cherish forever! Her attention to detail and personal photography style is fantastic and incredibly artistic, she made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera and was always on the move getting the perfect shot! Our wedding was needless to say a stressful event, it rained cats and dogs in Los Angeles and I didn't have shoes to wear to my wedding. She was such a trooper through the chaos and rain and still nailed every single shot! She was full of positive energy, made everything look flawless and perfect - she relentlessly captured our event from start to finish! We were beyond impressed when we saw the finished photos of our big day, and feel truly fortunate that Katie was a part of our big day! We can never thank her enough for the gorgeous gift she has given us!

that I will remember forever, but our photos were absolutely INCREDIBLE. We were so happy with them and felt like like they really captured who we were and were unique to us and our personalities. I cannot recommend Katie highly enough. When you hire Katie, you get a friend, a photographer, a fun experience, and of course, amazing pictures.
