ntially because we were based in LA but were getting in married in Nola. But Katie made this process feel as if we were just around the corner. She kept in touch and took the time to get to know us as the big day neared. All of that paid off because we felt so comfortable on the big day. We could be ourselves with her, and that happiness and comfort showed throughout our photos. The photos themselves EXCEEDED expectations. I have shared the link with so many people because Katie and her second shooter, Eyol, captured so many moments at the wedding and everyone honestly looks incredible. People continue to comment daily on how amazing the photos are! The lighting is out of this world, the candids are great, and even the formals are still fun and not stiff (our primary goal, as Katie knows!). We also did a second line at night, which everyone tried to convince us not to do because the photos wouldn't be as good. Katie proved everyone wrong -- the night photos are SPECTACULAR. We love them the most and cannot wait to keep on sharing. Katie is also incredibly flexible and patient. We legit added an extra hour the week of, and Katie just made it happen without any hesitation at all. In short, Katie is amazing as is her work. You should stop looking and hire her. We love you, Katie!!

e than just take posed pictures. With every album we saw of Katies, we felt like we were able to feel the essence of what that day must've felt like. After talking to Katie on the phone (which felt like I was talking to a friend I knew my whole life), we didn't think twice about hiring her to shoot our wedding in Vermont. Katie did our engagement photos, as well, taking us on an adventure along the Vermont countryside in the late summer. She didn't bat an eye when we asked if we could include our two, crazy, energetic labradors in the photos, and when we started to get stressed that they were too much, her energy brought us back down to earth, reminding us, without even saying a word, that that was all part of the fun. Katie is so intentional about making sure the love of the day is captured. We LOVE looking through our album and seeing the smiles on all of our guests faces, and the candid moments that Katie captured. Katie has a way of making you and everyone around you feel so special, and that absolutely shows through her photography. Other than her BEAUTIFUL, natural photos, we were so thankful to Katie for helping our day run smoothly. We felt like she was able to help make our day flow and was so supportive through it all. Even during her third trimester of pregnancy, Katie stuck it out with us to the very end to make sure she captured all of our fun dance party pictures. Those pictures turned out to be some of our favorites. If we could, we would have Katie take all of our photos for the rest of our lives. She is the best in so many ways, and we will cherish our photos forever.

e excitement of our pending wedding all over again. As a couple that doesn't take a lot of photos of ourselves, we were not sure what to look for in a photographer and nervous about having our photos reflect who we are. Working with Katie made all those fears go away - both our engagement shoot and wedding were enjoyable and fun, not awkward, and the photos organically reflected all the laughter and silliness we had throughout both events. Any time we had an idea (wanting to split up our engagement shoot locations so we could include our pets, trying to manage ferrets for a photo while dressed up!), Katie was immediately down to try, and the end results were amazing. And after the events, she was incredibly responsive and turned around our full galleries so quickly. I can't say enough good things about working with Katie - she was an amazing, very professional photographer, but so easy and fun to work with that it felt like having another friend throughout the process.

to know you and your partner. She was always very quick to respond to emails and texts with any questions I had. She spent time on the phone with me discussing the details of the wedding day and even helped me structure the schedule of the day (honestly she could double as a wedding planner/day of coordinator!!). She asked thoughtful questions about my partner and I to get to know us and what our hopes were for our wedding to help capture the special day. And that she did! Katie magically made her way around the ceremony and venue in the most graceful way, snapping absolutely gorgeous shots with her incredible talent. I shouldn’t leave out the fact that she didn’t hesitate to jump on a boat for our first look and hike to the bottom of a waterfall sharing a few quiet moments with us before the ceremony for a photo shoot that could not have felt more natural and true to my partner and I. Her presence and energy was perfect. She is an absolute gem, and we are so grateful to have her beautiful photos to remember our special day! Thank you Katie!!

for my wedding. I just wanted someone to be able to keep up, and catch us at our favorite moments without having to stop and pose. I know I am going to look back at my pictures 10 years from now and see exactly how much that day meant to me through the pictures she took.

capture 10 hours of our special day, and she did not disappoint. We did an entire shoot through the French Quarter before the ceremony and it was magical. Our guests loved her so much they chanted her name as she was leaving for the evening. I highly recommend her to anyone that wants every special moment captured! She has such a great eye for detail. She even sent us over 90+ photos as a sneak peek two days after our wedding!! Thank you for everything Katie!!

mal. Katie came to Boston to do our engagement photos in 2018 and spent a few hours getting to know us and that got us so excited for the wedding. Although we had to postpone our wedding for 9 months due to Covid, Katie kept in touch and we felt as though we were completely connected and ready come the wedding. We are SO happy with our photos, and loved working with Katie!

ed my expectations at every point from the planning, to my wedding day, to the final product. Katie treated my husband and I like longtime friends. We always felt like we were a top priority for her. During our wedding planning, Katie was an incredible resource and even helped us plan the timing and sequence of our big day. We had a number of different locations we wanted pictures of in our venue (City Park) and a big family which required a number of different group shots. With Katie's help both in the planning and on the big day, everything went exceptionally smoothly. We were also thrilled with the final product. Katie has a great eye for capturing candid moments. She captured a ton of emotional and memorable moments not only of me and my husband, but also our guests. Every single time during the wedding that I thought to myself "I hope this gets photographed" Katie not only got the picture but had positioned herself to get the perfect shot. She also got a number of really great "artistic" shots. (I just spent a bunch of time trying to describe them and realized describing a photograph in words is hard... Just trust me, they turned out great.) All in all, I can't say enough about Katie. If you are still unsure, don't be. Katie is incredibly talented, dedicated and beyond easy to work with. I plan on using her for any and all photography I need for the rest of my life.

After my husband and I chose Katie, she encouraged us to meet her for an engagement shoot, even though we were on the fence about it. We are so happy we did because (1) the photos are absolutely beautiful (the type of photo that you look at and go "woah, that's a breathtaking photo" and then "AH and I'm in it!") and (2) we got to know her so we felt much more comfortable on our wedding day. Katie has the incredible skill of being in the right place at the right time, without ever making anyone feel like they are being followed/photographed - hard to explain but hire her and you will find out. After our wedding, not only did our guests rave about our photos themselves, but also about how kind and wonderful Katie was! I honestly am looking for an excuse to hire her again (or to just hang out with her)!!

We struggled to find a wedding photographer that everyone could agree on (read: mother & daughter could agree on) and eventually stopped looking at prices/packages, and solely focused on the photographs when searching for someone. After a million google-searches and reading reviews for what felt like hundreds of wedding photographers in the New Orleans area, we finally stumbled upon Katie’s page and the decision was clear. The way she captures the story of the wedding day is unparalleled and after receiving our photos back, I can truly tell you that they transport you back to the magic of the day. She captured so many parts of the day and night that we didn’t even know happened and her photos made us feel like we were able to experience all parts of our wedding day. She’s constantly snapping photos and isn’t afraid to try creative new things. We worked with her for our engagement photos, wedding day/night photos, AND day-after photos. She got our photos back to us quickly and was incredibly reasonably priced. Katie is so professional, flexible, and maybe most importantly, sweet, fun, and such a pleasure to work with. It was a privilege to have her capture the best night of our lives and we couldn’t possibly recommend her enough.
