I am so glad I chose Katie for our wedding and engagement photos. Both turned out beautifully. Katie was easy to work with and did a good job directing everyone. When we got back our wedding photos, I was so surprised at all the photos she managed to get without me even noticing. Her editing job was also great - what I'd describe as a classic photography style and exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend her if she is in your area.

Katie was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was so sweet and made me (and our whole bridal party) feel so comfortable on our wedding day! I was little worried that with only one photographer, some moments may be missed. But Katie did not let that happen! She captured every beautiful moment of our wedding day perfectly, and I can honestly say we couldn't have chosen a better photographer to work with! We also got over 600 edited photos from our wedding back in 2 weeks! She also posted a few teaser photos on her Facebook page within a couple of days. Her pricing is beyond reasonable and she is well worth every penny! If you are looking for an amazing wedding photographer, you've found her right here.

My experience with Katie as my wedding photographer was fantastic. My wedding did not begin as planned, there were unanticipated delays, a broken window, and a very late bride. It did not shake Katie. She rolled with it like a pro, or rather, a ninja, because she blended into the event seamlessly, catching personal moments as well as setting up perfect family shots. Katie's skill behind the camera will come through with images that are natural and appropriate for the people and the venue. Thanks again, Katie. You made my panicked, "I am SO LATE to own wedding face" look normal and flawless. No one would ever know I had to smash and crawl through a window to retrieve my husband's wedding band. You are gifted.

Amazing! She was everywhere all at once but we didn't notice it. So creative and her pictures are absolutely stunning! Would reccommend her to anyone. Also took less than a week to get our pictures back!

Katie was amazing! Katie did our engagement & wedding photos. We are so happy with her work. She did a wonderful job at capturing every special moment. It is a very difficult choice for a bride when it comes to choosing & relying on the right person to take these photos of your special day. We are so happy to say that we went with the right person. Katie had brought her great ideas for poses & asked us if we would like to add some of our own too. She helped us to stay on schedule so we could get all of the pictures we wanted. We received our CD of photos in the mail so quickly. We are still deciding on what photos to choose from to make our wedding photo album with. There are too many good ones:)

Katie did an amazing job with both our engagement and wedding photos. She was very easy to work with throughout the whole process, had great ideas for poses/locations, always got back to us in a timely manner (including a speedy turnaround with our finished pictures), and her photos turned out terrific. Katie did an amazing job photographing our daughter's wedding! She was quick to answer any questions we had and we had our proofs in approximately 8 days. She made sure to take the extra photos we had requested as well as traveling to MSU's campus after the ceremony for several special photos. Her work is fantastic and we could not be more happy! We would highly recommend her to all future couples!

Katie was an absolutely fantastic photographer. She was easy to work with and very unobtrusive on the day of the wedding, and was quick to edit the photos and send them to us. I would definitely recommend her to other brides.

Katie did our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we were extremely happy with the finished product for both. She is very responsive and involved in the planning process. Our engagement session got rained out and she was incredibly flexible in getting a new day scheduled. She was fun and made sure our bridal party was relaxed the day of our wedding as well. The delivery of photos was about a week for engagement and about two weeks for wedding--very quick turnaround! We would absolutely recommend Katie to our friends and family and look forward to our future relationship with her as our photographer. Thank you Katie! -Caitlin and Clay

I can't say enough great things about Katie! My husband and I had a small courthouse ceremony on leap day. Given the location, we were a little unsure of how the pictures would turn out, but Katie surpassed all of our expectations. From the beginning, Katie made us feel comfortable and did a great job helping us pose for the photos. She turned a boring location into absolutely beautiful photos that perfectly captured our special day. We also received our photos quickly, less than a week after our wedding. Thanks again Katie!

We had originally hired Katie for both our engagement and our wedding photos but because of a family illness we had to move our Wedding to another date that no longer worked for her. Our engagement photos turned out very well though! I am not a photogenic person normally, however there were many photos I was pleased with! Her prices were very reasonable and the photos looked great, a win-win!

Katie did such an amazing job with my wedding last weekend! She had great ideas for different poses and was able to take some great pictures even though we were frozen from below average temps :) She was extremely nice, had great communication through the whole process, and posted sneak peak pictures online within a couple of days! I can't wait to see the rest of the photos and definitely recommend Katie for your wedding or other photography needs!

Katie was so accommodating from day 1. She always answered my emails timely and did her best to make sure every shot I wanted got taken. She even pulled me aside at the reception to make sure one of the shots didn't get missed and it turned out to be one of my favorites! She was able to be with us from the very beginning of the day all the way through the middle of the reception (after all the special dances) which was wonderful. We went with one of the longer time packages because of how far our getting ready location was from the venue and it worked out beautifully. She took amazing beautiful photographs, many of which I was able to purchase with the package printing at really reasonable rates for such great quality prints. She worked really well with us on posing and shots we hadn't thought of, and got us the photos a week after the wedding (while we were still on our honeymoon). She also includes a disc (or two) of all the good photos she captured, with the package for you to do with as you wish. Overall it was a wonderful day that she captured so perfectly.

Katie did a great job with our beach photos. She was easy to work with and gave gave us a fair price for what we wanted. I found her on the Knot, which was great. My only regret is not getting more time. We did 4 hours, which captured our ceremony and reception fine, including a trip down to the beach at our venue on Lake Michigan. However having a time limit didn't allow for as much spontaneity or creativity as I would have hoped. That said, Katie really did a nice job in the time we had her!

It can be awkward having someone that you don't know follow you around all day taking pictures, but Katie made it so easy and she was so nice! She made us feel comfortable and had so many great suggestions for pictures. I let her know some type of pictures that I wanted beforehand, and she made sure to get them. She is also very affordable. After the wedding, I was so excited to see the pictures and she posted a few to her Facebook page right away! She even posted a slideshow to music which captured our day so perfectly. She mailed me a disc of our pictures within 2 weeks of our wedding. The pictures turned out beautiful and we could not be more happy with her work. I would recommend her to anyone.

I wish I could express how amazing Katie was as our photographer. She was easy to communicate with before and after the wedding, I always felt comfortable with her. It seemed like she got 5 different angles of every shot but, my husband (that's still weird to say!) and I didn't ever see her running around. The video Katie created made me cry and my husband (who is not sentimental at all) has been showing it on the big screen to all of our friends that come over. I made a few really great choices for my wedding; my husband, my cake, and my photographer.

She is very professional, has great ideas for pictures and the quality of the pictures are amazing. We got our proofs back from her in a week or two each time. Katie recently photographed my wedding, which took place outdoors in northern MI. From the moment I contacted her, she was awesome. So quick to respond to any question that I had, very friendly, and so professional! The day of the wedding, she made me feel more comfortable in front of a camera than I ever had before. You could tell that she just knew what was going to look best, and she was definitely right. We had our photos within a week or so, and we could not be happier. They are absolutely breathtaking. I cannot thank Katie enough for doing such an amazing job at capturing our special day. I would recommend her to anyone!

Katie's work is simply unreal! We were so impressed by her professionalism as well has her creative side. She took our expectations for our wedding photos and blew them out of the water. We had our pictures back before some of our friends who got married months before us, she really took customer service to a different level with her speedy turn around. Our friends and family were very impressed by how much she moved around and got every shot possible. Many of them remarked that they knew our pictures would be amazing based on what they saw that day, they were right! We planned our wedding from out of state and she made everything so easy. I had been searching for a while for photographers for my wedding and when I found Katie's website, I knew I had to ask her! Since I found her on theknot.com, and live in a different state, I didn't meet her until the day of the wedding. She walked in and introduced herself and started shooting- it was wonderful and I felt like I had known her for years. She was incredibly professional and knowledgable and captured every moment of our special day. With all of the stress of planning the wedding, she really had made it so easy and relaxed and I didn't have to ask her to get a certain shot or anything- she just knew what to do, when to do it, etc. Both my husband and I were immediately comfortable around her and I really cannot say enough about how amazing she was/is! She was able to work with our hours too, and was flexible with making the trip to us (about 45 min from her). If we ever have kids, we'd love for her to photograph them as well! Thank you for making our day so special Katie- we can't thank you enough!!

Where can I even start with Katie.... other than to say she is amazing!!! Katie answers all emails promptly. She has great ideas for pictures!!! The pictures from my wedding have blown my mind. They are amazing. Katie posted a few pictures to facebook the day after our wedding, it was so exciting. Katie was eager to make any picture that I wanted happen. I seriously cannot recommend Katie enough, she was the perfect choice and I am lucky to have found her!!! Thank-you so much Katie, I can't say that enough!!!

Katie was our photographer for our engagement pictures as well as at our wedding and both times we were awed by the shots she captured. Katie is so personable and her excitement for taking pictures makes you feel like she is a close friend and that she truly wants you to have the best time. Katie had great ideas for pictures and she also loved hearing suggestions from us. When the time comes that I need family pictures, I will definitely be going back to Katie. I highly recommend her for everyone's photography needs.

Our pictures were so amazing! Katie was incredibly fun and creative to work with. I felt 100% comfortable with her photographing me. She made everyone look great with the lighting and time of day that we had to work with! I would absolutely hire her again for my photography needs!

My husband and I found Katie when it came time for our engagement photos last fall. After getting the photos back we were incredibly happy with the quality and creativeness of them. We were so impressed with them we decided to book her for our wedding. Again, the photos she did for our wedding were beautiful. Katie was fantastic to work with and has great prices! I definitely recommend her. Even though our wedding is over with, I'm keeping her in mind for family photos down the road.

Katie photographed our wedding outdoors in St Joseph, MI. She did an amazing job and really tries to capture the type of pictures you want versus what her particular taste might be. We were incredibly happy with everything from start to finish and would recommend her to anyone!
