Falcon Events) suggested we use her, and when I first spoke to Katie on our intro call I knew she’d be perfect! We purchased a package with engagement photos included. She took us to some amazing spots in Downtown St. Pete - ones I wouldn’t have even thought of or realized were there! Plus, her husband brought their pup as an added bonus ;) fast forward to wedding day, where she was fun, bubbly and helped keep us on track! It was a hot summer day in Florida and she and her second photographer got us through the portraits super quickly so we could enjoy the majority of our cocktail hour. We are over the moon with our gallery we got back for our wedding day and I personally loved seeing so many details and moments in her photos that I missed because I was having so much fun! Katie’s photography collection. We loved that her photos were light/airy and that we could genuinely feel the love in her photos. Her style was classic and timeless, which was exactly what we were looking for. We met Katie for our complimentary engagement session a couple of months before the wedding, and she is just the absolute sweetest!! We were nervous about being awkward in front of the camera, but Katie made us feel so comfortable. She truly is an experienced professional. She knows what poses and angles work well and avoids unflattering poses. It was great to practice poses and get a feel for what to expect on the actual wedding day. Throughout the planning process, Katie was thorough, organized and efficient. I liked the portal we used to communicate together. Katie truly lives up to her word that she will be your ultimate “hype girl” on the big day! She brought the best upbeat and positive energy on our wedding day. Her and her assistant also made me feel absolutely beautiful. The 2 of them are so friendly/easy to talk to and made everything so fun! Katie is quick with picture taking, which I greatly appreciated because I hate awkwardly standing in one pose for a long time. Our wedding photos turned out stunning. We could not be happier. She truly encompassed all of the beauty and love that we felt that day, and we are blessed to be able to have these photos to look back on for the rest of our lives! Katie created a personalized timeline for us for our wedding day and helped keep other vendors on schedule as well. We told Katie prior to our wedding we would be taking a short sailboat cruise right after the ceremony and she came prepared with numerous sailboat photo ideas so we could make the most of our time. From our engagement session to our wedding day, Katie made everything so so easy and just continually pumped me up with her amazing energy but was also such a calming presence at the same time. Our wedding day was supposed to have rained for the vast majority of the day and she supported me and made sure we stuck with the plan of staying outside as long as possible, and the weather held out perfectly! Katie worked with us to come 2 hours early so we could do a first look and get all of our pictures done before the rain. I was a little bummed about changing to a first look (which turned out to be such a special moment) but Katie was so encouraging and made me feel confident in our decision. t like she was one of my bridesmaids. I instantly knew we had struck gold, when my now husband, felt comfortable during our engagement shoot. My husband is a US Marine, & doing girly things like a ~romantic~ photo shoot is definitely not high up on his bucket list. Not only were the poses quick & painless, but Katie was able to make him laugh and talked about topics he likes! Katie & I communicated consistently for just about 1 year. When it came time for our wedding day, I seriously didn’t have one thing to stress about. There is so much going on, on the morning of your Big Day... no matter how much downtime you plan for. I had about 15 women running around the bridal suite trying to get ready & I wasn’t quite sure how we’d make the pictures work. BUT, no task is too challenging for Katie. She slid right in & started taking the details photos (invitation suite, jewelry, etc.) as soon as she arrived. She steered the ship from there on out. Not only did she get some amazing “getting ready” pics of me & my bridesmaids, but she also coordinated her assistant to meet my husband and his groomsmen at the Church. My husband & I received all of our wedding photos less than a week later. It was so special to have received our photos while on our honeymoon, I will forever cherish looking through them while waiting for brunch in Hawaii. I will hire Katie over & over again in the future. I hope one day I’m blessed to have her take our maternity pictures and family photos... My husband was very skeptical about taking photos at all, but Katie immediately made it fun and easy. We felt like natural pros by the end of the shoot, so I knew she was the right fit for our big day! On the day of our wedding, the nerves were getting to me a bit. Alex and I used her for our engagement photoshoot and our wedding! On the day of the wedding, it was forecasted to be raining ALL day - when I texted her worrying about the rain, she assured me she would have umbrellas and it would still be the most magical day - and she was right!!! I trusted her completely and she knew exactly what to do and how to get a perfect picture. (Also, thankfully the rain stopped long enough for the ceremony and some outdoor pictures!) But even if it had rained the whole time, I would have trusted Katie to still make the best of it. She never let anything phase her and she was calm and collected throughout it. Our engagement session and wedding photos turned out better than we could ever imagine! Katie sent us some questions to answer about a couple weeks before our big day to make sure she knew who we wanted photos with and any special moments we wanted captured. She is great at helping everyone get posed for the picture without taking an excessive amount of time, which I loved. Our bridal party was thankful for this too with our outside photos for a May Florida wedding in 100 degree weather lol. There’s something so natural, effortless, and bright about Katie’s photos that truly captures the love on a wedding day. We received all our pictures shortly after our wedding and we’re just amazed. emember thinking "she's so cute and professional." And then I saw her PICTURES (sooooo many heart eyes emojis) and I absolutely fell in love with her style. I wasn't engaged but I KNEW whenever I had a wedding, she would be my photographer. Her style is just so flawless, light & airy and just absolutely beautiful. I got engaged and definitely didn't do much research on photographers, because like I said, I already knew I wanted Katie. We had a late engagement shoot in October (our wedding was February 22nd, 2020) and it was hotter outside than we would have liked. Katie ensured us that our sweat (LOL) would not show in the photos and she was absolutely right! When she posted our engagement photos on her blog, she just made me feel so special. And then wedding day came, and she was just SO easy and soooooo low maintenance which honestly helps so much when there's a lot going on and lots of different things to deal with. She did her thing and was always checking on me throughout the day. We got our photos back literally within two weeks and I was in absolute awe of them. Like incredibly emotional looking at them because she captured our day SO perfectly. You can feel the love OOOOOOZING out of our photos. Again, I felt so special when she posted our photos on her blog. She knew so many details about us as a couple and remembered so many details from wedding day and our honeymoon, like she just really paid attention to all the little things. Katie is just amazing in so many ways and I will recommend her over and over and over! You will NOT be disappointed if you hire her, I promise you that.
