Love, Laughter, and Legacy: Capturing Your Upstate SC Fairytale with Us
Deep in the heart of the Upstate, where rolling hills meet vibrant cities, you'll find us – husband and wife, united by love and a shared passion for storytelling through photography. We're not just any photographers; we're your partners in crafting a visual legacy of your most precious day – your wedding.
But our journey extends far beyond borders. We've roamed across South Carolina's diverse landscapes, from Charleston's charming streets to Georgia's majestic mountains, weaving love stories into timeless pictures. Each couple, each celebration, has etched a unique mark on our hearts, reminding us of the magic that unfolds when two souls unite.
Our style? Imagine it like sunlight dappling through leaves, casting a soft, natural glow on the joy and emotion of your day. We don't just capture moments; we capture the essence, the quiet laughter, the tearful glances, the bursts of uninhibited joy – all the details that paint the vibrant canvas of your love story.
Think of us as more than just vendors with fancy cameras. We're your cheerleaders, your confidantes, your calming presence when nerves flutter. From navigating pre-wedding jitters to ensuring every precious moment unfolds seamlessly on the big day, we're here for you. And that bond doesn't fade when the last dance ends. We believe in building lasting friendships, celebrating your anniversaries, and witnessing the beautiful chapters your love story unfolds.
In the years to come, when you revisit your wedding album, we want you to be transported back to that magical day. We want you to relive the nervous flutters before the vows, the giddy laughter during the first dance, the heartfelt tears of joy shared with loved ones. Because your love story deserves to be preserved, cherished, and celebrated long after the confetti settles.
So, if you're searching for photographers who see beyond the posed smiles and perfectly staged shots, who understand the essence of love and connection, then let's chat. Let's hear your dreams, your inspirations, and your unique vision for your wedding day. We'd love to be the ones to translate that vision into a collection of memories that will warm your hearts for a lifetime.
Remember, it's not just about beautiful pictures; it's about capturing the love, the laughter, and the legacy of your happily ever after.

ming trying to find the one small window of good weather in the one weekend we could come to SC for photos! She had a preview with sooo many photos back to us in no time and the full gallery not long after that. Her style of bright and true to color was exactly what I was looking for and we were obsessed with every single photo. We also felt like she captured our personalities and relationship in each photo. Leading up to the wedding, she was communicative and helpful in making a schedule for the day based on our requests and so easy to work with! Having Mitchel with her on wedding day was just icing on the cake! They have this down to a science and work as a well-oiled machine and made the day flow smoothly without making it feel stressful at all. Both are such joys to work with!!! Our people were so complementary about them as well. Again, our previews were back so quickly and the full gallery only a month after our wedding! They captured every inch and the most special moments of our day. We are so grateful and would 10/10 choose them again!!

Finally, they are so easygoing and sweet that you felt super comfortable around them and I think the pictures turned out more natural because of that. I’m also thankful they never asked us to do any awkward poses. They helped take stress off of my plate which made my wedding so much more fun. Would recommend 100x over to anyone!

life, even making sure a groomsman who lived in England have a picture made with our Rolls Royce going away car. Being in the midst of covid , there were tons of precautions in place but they did everything they could capturing the wedding from start to finish, with all the details that were important to me. Some of my husbands favorite pictures are after the ceremony with the going away Rolls Royce. The bride/groom sunset pictures are so dreamy. Pre ceremony, Katie even had to pin boutonnières on the groomsmen, groom, as well as become a calligrapher to write out ‘let love glow’ for the going away exit. Actually speaking of, my husband’s groomsmen and friends decorated the car we left in from the reception. They even captured that, which is very rare these days. If you are a couple looking for wedding photographers, I recommend Katie and Mitchel! Also, do the bridal portraits. I love mine so much, so I had a hard time deciding which one for a portrait! Our wedding was made all the brighter from the flash of their photography.
Katie Jaynes was the absolute best wedding photographer we could ever ask for! She got the best pictures with so many different poses. I felt that every single moment of our ceremo...
ny and reception was captured perfectly. One of my favorite parts was that Katie had some great photos ready to show us during the reception! My family loved seeing them as well. Katie & Mitchell were also rockstars when it came to coronavirus stress. They were very flexible with setting another date and were super comforting throughout the whole process. Luckily, we didn’t have to change our date but did have to change a lot of the family portraits. They did a great job taking portraits of family that was there and made it seem as no family was missing at all!
My husband and I are so thankful that we chose Katie to capture our wedding and would recommend her to anyone!

nd personalization to each couple is unmatched. So many of my friends and co-workers have asked me about the wedding photos, just from the sneak peek! They are stunning!! Katie and Mitch make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and will help you with anything you need. I highly recommend them for your photography needs.

ble. Lukas is not one to “enjoy” having his picture taken but our engagement session was so fun for both of us and the pictures turned out perfect. On the day of my bridal portrait session, it rained and we had to reschedule. The day that we rescheduled for was not available for my venue, so Katie had a backup plan and those pictures turned out amazing too! The turnaround for pictures is unreal, by the way, she gets them back to you so quickly. She is so kind and truly cares about her brides! She sends sweet emails and she calls to check on her customers all the time. She worked with us through all of the craziness of the coronavirus which ended up in THREE venue changes and she is so flexible. Seriously, the venue changes didn’t phase her at all. She was determined to be at our wedding no matter what and that was so special to us. She’s down to earth, caring, patient, and is so passionate about her job. I would recommend Katie a million times over! We have grown so close to her and her husband, Mitchel, and they’ve become good friends now - we just love them!💕
Katie Jaynes and Mitchell Jaynes were the ABSOLUTE best photographer team for our wedding. I met with her early on and she exceeded my expectations for the process of working with ...
a photographer. She is an excellent communicator during the engagement period with any and all questions we had and even after our wedding was done. What I really appreciated is that she recognized that there are a lot of expenses involved in a wedding and that first and foremost the most important thing is focusing on the married couple and their future lifelong marriage. She was so kind and she is the kind of person you would be good friends with!! This is important since they will be with you the whole day!
Looking back at all the WONDERFUL photos she and Mitchell took I realized the huge benefit of having two photographers. They were able to capture amazing moments that my husband and I will never forget. I also loved the style of photos she took- the light and airy photos. Looking back my husband and I were able to relive the wedding day with her ability of capturing the story line of the wedding day. Paul and I loved her and I have been recommending her to all my friends and random people I come in contact with! 100% look no further for a wedding photographer. You will not be disappointed with Katie Jaynes Photography.

so very thorough and organized which I very much appreciated as I was planning the wedding without a hired planner. She takes the time to survey your preferences before the wedding and get to know you. On the day of, she really was what kept us on schedule and made sure we got all of the photographs that were important to us. I have a huge family and Katie was very patient! Since the wedding, we got our edited photos back VERY fast (with a sneak peek of a few pictures on the day of the wedding). We have received a jump drive, online gallery, and a fantastic, quality heirloom album (worth any additional cost).
I also would like to mention that my husband and I are not frequent picture takers and Katie posed us quickly and naturally all day. We felt like they were our friends with how comfortable it all was even though we met them day of! I highly recommend Katie Jaynes Photography!!!
Katie and her husband Mitchell are the kind of vendors you hope you find - talented, flexible, reasonably priced, and efficient. I had a small wedding and booked Katie’s elopement...
package which was only for 3 hours. She was willing and able to stay some extra time at last minutes notice. We do appreciated her flexibility on that front. Their talent is without question - she can shoot you wonderful scenery photos, portraits with fabulous background blur and compressed background shots. And they are all shots that you’d want to blow up and display in your home. Katie’s and Mitchell’s energy is also a wonderful addition for a wedding photographer. They know how to make you laugh but also how to wrangle a room and get everyone into place without ruffling the most sensitive of feathers. On their efficiency what more can I say than that Katie gives you preview shots during your wedding reception!!!! 🤯 I just cannot say enough about the nice photos that Katie produces and the wonderful attitude that she brings to the event.
