One thing to note is that she does not want a photo list, that she does all of the combos of family photos. However, I recommend making a mental note of people you would like photos with as we missed out on photos with just my husband’s grandparents and with our officiant who was a family friend. m preparing an entire wedding day schedule to ensure sunset photos with the couple don’t overlap with any other important event, to making sure every meaningful item was captured in a beautiful photo setting, she is extremely detail oriented and takes pride in every photo she snaps. She has the natural eye for capturing that “perfect moment” and that is exactly what every bride hopes for. On the day of our wedding, Katie arrived early, began capturing the photos of our meaningful belongings in the perfect lighting that she had already scouted out, then snapped our “getting ready” moments while myself and my bridesmaids popped champaign. She had already familiarized herself with our venue so she knew exactly where the perfect place for our “first look” photos should take place, along with every single group photo. Our wedding party was a total of 24 people. Katie was easily able to manage, corral and keep in line the entire group with grace while capturing every moment. She even accommodated for family photos of 60+ members in just a few minutes immediately following our ceremony to ensure no guests were inconvenienced during cocktail hour, while still satisfying our requests. She set up professional lighting inside our venue to ensure every photo had the perfect lighting regardless of the setting. Katie kept to the schedule that she planned out specifically for our day and had communicated to me well before the wedding. Because of this I felt 100% confident in her ability to make sure our special day would run perfectly smooth and according to plan, which it absolutely did. The bonus of working with Katie is that she is extremely quick to communicate and answer any questions, and not to mention is very professional yet personable. It feels like talking to a friend when you’re working with Katie! I could go on and on about how thankful I am to have chosen Katie as our photographer; she truly made the best day our our lives worry-free and absolutely perfect from beginning to end. Katie was able to get some photos of the bridal party before the ceremony, allowing more time for photos of my Wife and I after the ceremony. We loved that Katie was very informative, she always followed through on any questions or concerns very quickly. Katie was very fluid on our wedding day, adapting to everything changing or moving, and theres nothing really bad to say about Katie. She was perfect for our wedding!
