Even before our wedding, when we took engagement photos, Katie worked hard to ensure we felt comfortable and that our photos reflected who we are as a couple. Throughout the day itself, she seamlessly guided us and our large wedding party through various poses and moments, making sure we looked our best while still capturing the genuine emotions of the day. Her prompts were not only creative but also helped us relax and enjoy each moment, resulting in some truly stunning photographs that we will cherish forever. One thing that truly stood out was her attention to detail and organization. She provided us with a detailed timeline well in advance, ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the big day. And when I inevitably shed a few tears, she was right there with tissues and a gentle touch-up to ensure I still looked radiant in every shot. Katie went above and beyond our expectations, not only capturing beautiful memories but also creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend her to any couple looking for a talented and compassionate photographer for their special day.

t completely at ease talking to Katie as she truly listened to what we wanted. She was by far the most organized vendor we worked with, and it was simply easy to work with her. Katie was not just a vendor to us though, she quickly became a friend because she is also just so fun to be around and really makes an effort to get to know her clients. Leading up to the wedding I had a couple of concerns with the bridal party, and Katie swiftly put me at ease and handled this expertly on the wedding day. She kept us calm and present not just on our wedding day, but throughout the entire wedding planning process. Her incredible work speaks for itself and we are beyond happy with how she captured our day, but I think how much of an advocate and friend she is for her clients truly sets her above and beyond other wedding photographers.

looking back at memories in scrapbooks and photo albums, and wanted to choose someone whose style was bright, happy, and genuine. And of course, we wanted someone talented!! From the first video call with Katie I knew we had found our photographer. She is so fun, skilled and outgoing, and knows when she needs to take the lead on the big day. She also has a cat named after a Lord of the Rings character, so that pretty much sealed the deal for me!! Katie has lots of tried and true tricks that she uses to guide her couples through the photos, and they WORK. If you aren’t used to having your picture taken or think it will feel awkward, Katie will take care of you and make it feel silly and natural!! The experience with Katie was SO fun, and we are absolutely in love with our photos. She took excellent candids that were such an added bonus, on top of the posed photos! We also got a LOT of photos (over a thousand!) which is what I was hoping for! So many to choose from. Did I mention that Katie single handedly kept our wedding schedule on track? Through the transition between getting ready and the ceremony, Katie reeled in the focus and kept those groomsmen and flower girls on track! She also was the first person I turned to when our transportation to the venue was late— thank you Katie!! Finally, it was so important to us that our photographer be LGBTQ+ friendly, and Katie is as inclusive as they come. Katie ensured that both mothers of the bride truly felt special! THANK YOU Katie for giving us these photographic memories that we can cherish forever!!!

d to having control over the photographs of the day it was huge to feel comfortable with the person we chose. We were beyond comfortable with Katie from day one. My wife is not always comfortable about being photographed and she was instantly comfortable with Katie. During the day of our wedding katie made sure everything was set to go and helped in more ways than simply photographing our day. Katie made sure timing went well, made sure we ate, assisted with any hair or wardrobe issues and simply helped my wife be able to relax . The wedding is now a year past and we don’t remember the exact food or flower arrangements, the invites we chose or the seating chart stress but the photos are what we have the important piece. The photos blew us away, the quality, the lighting , the style and the moments she captured were perfect. The day goes by in the blink of an eye and the photos are what we have to look at on our phone, on our walls, on our family’s fridges and shelves. Her job is truly her passion, and she does a phenomenal job with events and moments big and small to remind people of the joy in their lives.

There are some changes we would make if we could go back but the best decision we made, and the one we would never change, was hiring Katie as our photographer. To be honest, Katie was so much more than our photographer. Both on the day of and in the literal years (Thanks COVID) leading up to our wedding she was there for us. She came up with awesome ideas, made helpful suggestions and made us feel so comfortable and happy all along the way. Day of, she was my hype women and when things got a little crazy (as of course they tend to do) she was able to get me to snap out of it and remember that I was marrying the love of my life!!!! She was, and is, an absolute rockstar. I can’t wait to work with her again because I know that we will.

made the whole process easy and painless for us. She researched locations for us, suggested outfits, she even scouted out the location ahead of time to find the best spot to shoot. During the shoot, she told us how to pose and what to do. She had such a fun and energetic attitude throughout the whole shoot. Even my fiance (who hates stuff like this) had so much fun during the shoot. We are both so excited to have her shoot our wedding day as well.

Katie not only rearranged her schedule to squeeze in a last-minute engagement session, but she also negotiated a discounted fee for our wedding (we had already confirmed the postponement with her). She is professional, bubbly, and supportive and it is obvious that she LOVES what she does. She was simply a joy - for two people who hate being photographed, she made us look GOOD!

7, 2019. Katie kept in contact with us the whole way since we first contacted her back in September 2018. We chose Katie because we loved her style of photography. Her photos are bright and vibrant with the use of natural light and colors. We loved that for our ceremony because we knew our ceremony was going to have lots of bright colors. We had many details that we wanted to capture and she did just that! Aside from the photos, we love her personality!!! We connected through the first Facetime meeting, and instantly loved how happy and bubbly she is! We can feel how passionate she is about photography. On our wedding day, everything went so smoothly. Katie and her assistant had a timeline for us and kept us on track the whole day. Our photos of course came out as beautiful as we imagined! We continue to get compliments on how great the photos came out and how incredible Katie is! Thank you Katie for making our wedding dreams come true!

She consistently showed her professionalism and preparedness by reaching out to us consistently to check in throughout the wedding planning process. She gave us great advice on how to organize the day itself. Katie also took the initiative to scout our venue (Branford House in CT) before the wedding, and thus was really prepared with plentiful amazing ideas on where to take portraits throughout the day – both outside and inside the venue. This helped us be really efficient in our time and gave us the chance to really enjoy the wedding itself, while also getting incredible photos that we will cherish forever. Katie’s upbeat spirit, positivity, and overall enthusiasm were contagious. She made us, our families, and our friends have a great time. Though we don’t naturally like to be the center of attention, she made us feel comfortable and confident taking a wide variety of great photos. She and her assistant photographer Emma were truly photography ninjas during some of the big moments of the day. We are amazed by the close-up photos she got of the ceremony itself, the dances, and other key moments where we did not even notice them setting up for their shots. We’ve thus far seen our sneak peek, and it is already clear that they are the best photos we could have imagined. Throughout the day, Katie paid significant attention to natural light, and responded quickly to changes in the cloud cover, and the results of this are clear in her photos of us. As many of our families and friends have told us, they are without question the best photos we have ever had taken of us. Choose Katie as your wedding photographer. She is the absolute best and we are so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her. She will help make both the experience of your wedding day and the photos of it spectacular!

She has shot both our engagement session and our wedding, and knocked it out of the park both times! We had a lot of apprehension before choosing a photographer. I researched for hours, and by the time we met Katie, we were starting to wonder how we would ever find the right fit. In our first meeting, she put us so totally at ease, and inspired our confidence with her past projects and her clear passion for her work, that we knew we had found the one. She's trudged through back woods and knee high brush for miles to scout locations and shoot with us, guiding our vision for the shots we wanted with her expertise, and making the most of our time together. Katie was always on time or early, and was AWESOME at communicating when we needed it, and helped keep us on schedule leading up to and on the day of the wedding. It was so nice to have a vendor that made it quick and easy to get information, rather than having to chase them down like so many others.Her genuine joy is infectious, and she had the perfect balance of fun and business, making sure we were taking in the moments of our wedding day, but also that we got all the necessary portraits done and didn't run late. Katie had a great second shooter with her at our wedding, and they clearly had a plan so they captured moments that we never got to see in person, which was so special. And as I was the mastermind behind the whole wedding design and execution, I was so thrilled that Katie and her second made sure they documented all the little details of the day, that I had poured so much time and effort into. She also worked seamlessly with our videographer despite never having met before, allowing my husband and I to focus on the day. My husband and I are so thankful we trusted Katie with the biggest day of our lives, and you will be too!
