With a background in documentary photography and a fondness for editorial work, her approach is organic yet effortlessly elevated. She utilizes a mix of soft and intimate moments, and fun, cinematic ones to bring an artistic perspective to every wedding she photographs and believes that who you are and what you love will guide the way your story is told. KT wants you to feel truly seen and known. It all starts with trust.
Her inspiration stems from interior design, orange wine, architecture, seafood pasta dishes, french music, books about philosophy and mother earth, the language of light, and al fresco dinners that last until midnight.
When she’s not behind the camera, she is likely spending her weekends listening to queen, drinking champagne, surfing, waiting in line for street tacos, getting together with family and friends, and making her new house in los angeles feel like home.

style that is modern but also timeless. On our initial phone call with Katie, she was sweet & knowledgable and instantly knew the type of vibe we wanted for our pictures. Communication with Katie throughout the wedding planning process was also easy, given that she lives in CA and we live in MA. Both me and my husband were pretty nervous for our engagement shoot, since neither of us have ever been photographed professionally. Katie provided a ton of guidance on how to be natural in front of the camera and captured pictures that will forever be some of our most favorite.
If you are a couple that is debating also hiring Katie for your rehearsal dinner, please DO IT. We ended up adding this later on in our planning and are SO glad we did. We have both gone to rehearsal dinners before and most of them were not photographed, which then the couple needed to rely on their guests to do. You can run into the issue of not getting much coverage or the photos not being what you want. We didn't know how much we wanted & needed the rehearsal photos until we got them. We were blown away, they were honestly breath taking and we knew we wouldn't have gotten them otherwise. Now, we have keepsakes of an event that usually is easily forgotten in the mix of everything else for the wedding. The rehearsal dinner ended up being one of our favorite events during our wedding.
On our wedding day we were both pretty nervous. Being a type-A bride, I needed everything to go according to schedule and Katie made sure of that. We had 2 additional coordinators, one from the venue and the other a personal day-of coordinator we hired. Katie naturally stepped in as the go-to person for logistics and from what I heard as well from my husband, made the day go a lot smoother. She knew where everyone needed to be and helped us navigate the timeline. Again, Katie helped me pose during my bridal solo shots. She knew the perfect lighting and spots to ensure we got great photos. I was able to really relax and trust her vision when it came to photos.
To sum this up, we highly recommend Katie because she's professional, friendly, and delivers on her work and word. We received all of our photos within the timeframe that was promised and were so wowed by what was captured. I probably look at the album once a week, finding new things each time that didn't catch my eye previously. We love that there are so many great photos for us to look back on & frame. Everything that Katie captures is frame-worthy.

Our engagement shoot was a great opportunity for us to get comfortable in front of the camera and to get to know Katie. We are so happy we did this because it made our wedding planning process so much easier knowing that we already loved our photographer.
On our wedding day, Katie was on time, prepared, and brought great vibes. Katie was thoughtful as we were taking family/wedding party photos to find the perfect lighting and backdrop (something she knew I was worried about), and she took her time doing so while sticking to the timeline. Before our outdoor rooftop ceremony, there were incoming storms and dark clouds causing a lot of anxiety for me and my husband, but she had her eye on the weather forecasts and reassured us. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, and we stuck to our timeline throughout the entire day, and I attribute a lot of that seamlessness to Katie's energy and professionalism. She never made us feel rushed or stressed.
As a Type A bride, Katie was the perfect fit for us! We are so thankful she was with us throughout our wedding day, calming our nerves, getting us hyped up, and helping us stay intentional.

camera encased in a sandwich bag - she didn't let the extreme weather deter her and kept the vibe positive by reminding us how incredible the pictures would be with the moody cloudy lighting. She wasn't joking - there is not a bad shot in the entire gallery. She delivered exactly what we wanted and then some - we have incredible portraits, detail shots, candid moments from the dance floor, priceless images from the ceremony that she managed to get without us even noticing she was there. I know we will treasure them forever.
One special thing about Katie is her bicoastal approach - which was amazing for us as a California based couple getting married in Maine. We had a super fun engagement shoot in Malibu - including our dog! We were a bit nervous but Katie made us feel so at ease and did a great job capturing our dynamic. There were some great little details - sending a mood board before with outfit guidance, a sweet gift and some champagne to pop on the beach.

Also, our wedding schedule was a bit long and complicated but Katie and Todd worked seamlessly with it and are true professionals. They were a comforting presence throughout the day and were also a huge hit with everyone at the wedding - they have the best energy! If you are thinking about booking Katie and Todd for your photography/videography needs, don’t hesitate and book them ASAP - I really can’t recommend them enough!!

She sent us great advice beforehand, was super flexible while I kept changing my mind about doing the shoot at home or other locations, and made us totally at ease throughout the whole process. It was celebratory, intimate, and so very joyful. She is a genuinely wonderful human too, so spending time with her was a delight!

down even our top few. I stumbled upon Katie through a mutual Facebook friend, and I was immediately drawn to her romantic, slightly moody, yet emotion-filled style. We were lucky enough to meet with Katie and we knew right off the bat that she was our leading gal. She's so easy to get along with, and even though we're both uncomfortable (at first) with getting our photos taken, she pushed us outside of our comfort zone and captured our love and the love around us. Her fiancé, now husband, was her second shooter and he was also a rad energy to have around. It's also important to note that we had a team of videographers, and Katie was professional, courteous, and a team player with directing her shots while including them, and many people came up to us asking if they worked together! We're floored with the final gallery she shared, and she captured every single emotion, as well as the story, of our day.
