we did Skype before hiring her, and we really liked her. When the wedding day rolled around, Katie exceeded every expectation. She was a bundle of energy and knew just what to do and say to keep everyone's energy up during pictures. She and her second-shooter (her husband by the way) were a great team. The men in the bridal party were super at ease with him and the women all loved Katie. I've never been one for being in from of a camera, but Katie made me feel comfortable. At times, it was like she wasn't even there which really helped me and my now-husband act natural. The pictures came out gorgeous. We got them within a few weeks which was an incredible turn-around period! Especially considering that our wedding was a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. We were also lucky enough to have parents that wanted to purchase a wedding album for us. The albums were a bit pricey when Katie was giving estimates. However, once we selected our images, the final price turned out to be a bit lower than we were expecting. The album was produced quickly (again maybe a couple weeks) and it was just as amazingly beautiful as the photos themselves! My husband and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The romantics (the photos we took on the beach) are gorgeous, and she did a great job capturing candid moments as well. In addition to the great product, Katie is a sweetheart. From the engagement shoot and through the entire process, she was very professional and really listened to what I was hoping to accomplish. This was one of the best decisions I made, other than picking the right guy! :)
