About this vendor
First things first, congratulations on your engagement! My name is Katie and I cannot wait to hear all about your dream wedding.
Weddings get a bad rap for being stressful which is why from the moment you inquire about a shoot with me, I am there to ensure the needs of your wedding (or engagement or portrait) are taken care of so that you can focus on having the time of your life. When you book with KSP, you are working with a photographer who is constantly searching for moments: a glance, a hug, a smile, a roaring laugh. Those are my favorite shots to take, the ones where you have forgotten I am even in the room. No flashes, no lights, no gimmicks. Whether you want the traditional wedding or you want to get married on a Tuesday while on a boat, I am here for it all!

A true artist who captured our soul.
From the moment we saw Katie’s portfolio, we knew her authentic, documentary style was exactly what we needed for our non-traditional cruise w...
edding. We weren't interested in stiff, standard portraits; we wanted the raw, "in-between" moments that actually tell the story of the day.
Our wedding was chaotic to say the least- we weren't even able to see our venue before the big day. (Did I mention this was on a CRUISE SHIP !!!) We were worried about the lighting and the background, but Katie turned every single frame into pure art. She has an incredible gift for ignoring the "noise" and focusing entirely on the emotions and memories.
She was the perfect balance of professional and easy-going. She knew exactly when to take control of the room and when to blend into the background to catch those candid shots. My guests are still raving about how wonderful she was to work with. Beyond the wedding day, she even coordinated an after-hours engagement shoot for us so we could have our chosen venue all to ourselves! Her turnaround time is surprisingly fast, and her pricing is incredibly reasonable for the high-caliber work she produces. If you are in the New Orleans area, hire her. She is worth every single penny.
We had an amazing experience working with Katie for our March 2025 wedding. Throughout our events, she captured so many beautiful candid moments that truly reflect the joy of the d...
ay. Her photos feel natural and genuine, and we love how she documented moments we didn’t even realize were happening. Thanks to her talent, we’re able to relive our wedding day every time we look through our gallery.
Katie was the perfect wedding photographer. She made every step of the process easy and painless. We adored working with her.
Plus, our photos turned out STUNNING. Highly recomme...

Wow, I was very impressed with Katie's work. I am a person who often hates how I look in photos, but I loved every one. Our family pictures look beautiful and she coordinated every...
one so well. Our couples portraits and engagement photos look so sweet. I love the poses she suggested and little moments she captured. At the wedding, she got pictures of everything and everyone. People loved them and complimented how good they looked. She caught the funniest moments and some things I missed while talking to everyone. If I get graduation photos or a baby shower shoot someday, I will call her! Plus she is such a kind a approachable person. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable.
We had a beyond wonderful experience working with Katie. Especially as out-of-towners, we were incredibly grateful to her for scouting locations to take wedding photos which ended...
up looking like a magazine spread- we were completely taken aback! Katie stayed with us all day- I don't know how she did it, but every photo is exactly what we hoped to have from start to finish. Thank you so much! We loved working with you and hope to meet again in the future.
Katie was terrific! We didn’t want cookie cutter photos of our New Year’s Eve wedding. We’re older (second marriage for us both), and we are both in the arts, so we requested casu...
al, spontaneous shots that captured the joy of our day—and that’s exactly what Katie delivered. She was punctual, professional, had a sense of fun, and was totally unobtrusive at our intimate event. We’re very happy with the results and would choose Katie (and each other) again!
Katie was great to work with on a surprise propsal shoot. She arrived early, was very professional and easy going and edited/returned the photos very fast. Highly recommend!
We chose Katie at the recommendation of another business associate. Her knowledge of New Orleans was second to none. We did not want many staged photos and her ability to catch gre...
at shots in the chaos of a wedding was phenomenal. The staged shots we did do were spectacular as well. She didn't interfere with the event. She blended in BUT when she did have to ask for people to move it was with respect and authority. You could not ask for a better New Orleans photographer for your event.
Very helpful. Super friendly. I had a very unique wedding, in the sense that it was a total wedding with no guests and she treated it that way. She hit my punch list items for thi...
ngs I wanted to photograph or locations without me needing to guide her that day. She was right on time and available to talk when I needed her. Ill be doing a second shoot in about 11 months with her so I’m double endorsing here!!!! Thanks Katie for your hard work!!!
Katie is a true professional. She makes you feel at ease in front of the camera. When taking our posed couple & family photos, she gave clear instructions to make everyone look the...
ir best. Throughout our party, she was perceptive of the little unplanned special moments that as they happened (ie my parents dancing to their favorite song) and she captured them all with impeccable taste. Following the wedding, she sent us the photos promptly and we loved them all. So did our family and friends. Do yourself a favor and hire Katie Sikora to photograph your wedding.
Katie was absolutely amazing! In a very short time span, just over 24 hrs, she was able to put together a short surprise photo shoot to capture my proposal in City Park. She even ...
recommended a spot for me to propose since I'm not from the area and I wasn't familiar with the park! After I saw our pictures, I couldn't be happier with the unforgettable moments she captured for us! Thank you so much Katie!
I had Katie to take my wedding photos not only because she is a friend, but because I knew she would take gorgeous photos. Even though we were having a casual courthouse ceremony w...
ith just my mom in attendance and clothes from goodwill, Katie's creative eye and lovely demeanor made me feel like the most beautiful, fancy bride in the world. The wedding photos she took on the beach were amazing, but even more amazing was how she captured those little moments like us paying for the marriage license. I will forever cherish the gorgeous pictures she took and how she perfectly represented our special morning. I would recommend Katie not only for her photographs, but for her easygoing presence and great work ethic.
Katie was amazing to work with. We wanted a more photojournalistic approach to our wedding photos as opposed to traditional, staged photos. Katie was excellent at making this happe...
n. She was professional and put my husband and I both at ease. We didn't even notice her taking up-close shots of us until we saw the photos after the big day. People still tell me about how great my photos are now, years after the event. I couldn't recommend her more.
Katie was an absolute joy to work with. She was professional, took amazing photos, and felt like part of our wedding day. She’s quickly responsive, accommodating, professional but ...
