Weddings get a bad rap for being stressful which is why from the moment you inquire about a shoot with me, I am there to ensure the needs of your wedding (or engagement or portrait) are taken care of so that you can focus on having the time of your life. When you book with KSP, you are working with a photographer who is constantly searching for moments: a glance, a hug, a smile, a roaring laugh. Those are my favorite shots to take, the ones where you have forgotten I am even in the room. No flashes, no lights, no gimmicks. Whether you want the traditional wedding or you want to get married on a Tuesday while on a boat, I am here for it all!

edding. We weren't interested in stiff, standard portraits; we wanted the raw, "in-between" moments that actually tell the story of the day.
Our wedding was chaotic to say the least- we weren't even able to see our venue before the big day. (Did I mention this was on a CRUISE SHIP !!!) We were worried about the lighting and the background, but Katie turned every single frame into pure art. She has an incredible gift for ignoring the "noise" and focusing entirely on the emotions and memories.
She was the perfect balance of professional and easy-going. She knew exactly when to take control of the room and when to blend into the background to catch those candid shots. My guests are still raving about how wonderful she was to work with. Beyond the wedding day, she even coordinated an after-hours engagement shoot for us so we could have our chosen venue all to ourselves! Her turnaround time is surprisingly fast, and her pricing is incredibly reasonable for the high-caliber work she produces. If you are in the New Orleans area, hire her. She is worth every single penny.

ith just my mom in attendance and clothes from goodwill, Katie's creative eye and lovely demeanor made me feel like the most beautiful, fancy bride in the world.
