Katrina Bernard Photography

our vision. On the big day Katrina was calm and organized and captured every special moment, from candid shots of our guests to the intimate details we hadn't even noticed. The quality of the photos is exceptional—each image has perfect lighting, and the editing is flawless without feeling overdone. One of the things we appreciated most was how Katrina was able to make us feel at ease in front of the camera, helping guide us through poses naturally. We also received our gallery quickly, and we were thrilled with how many incredible shots there were. It was hard to narrow down our favorites! We would highly recommend Katrina to anyone looking for a talented, professional photographer who truly cares about capturing the magic of your day.

n to her beautiful, bright style. She photographed our summer wedding as well as our city hall ceremony and despite being very different environments/backdrops (outdoor vs dark indoor setting), the photos turned out fantastic both times. She is extremely professional, efficient and somewhat was able to manage and organize our very chaotic families, which was much needed on our busy wedding day! I cannot recommend Katrina enough!!

t photography. Her style is classic, elegant and she gorgeously captures light. We have received so many compliments on how beautiful our pictures turned out. Not only were our pictures incredible and beyond expectations, Katrina is a consummate professional. She meticulously prepped our shot list, was an expert at navigating time and families, and planned the day perfectly. She also is an expert at the BVI having shot there many times, so brides at this venue can be rest assured that she knows the best locations and all the details of the space. She delivered over 900 photos of our wedding! Having the full digital file is amazing and ordering prints from her (which we likely will multiple times!) is fast, easy and they come out perfect. Thank you Katrina for being such an integral and special part of our wedding day!

ot back from both our engagement shoot and the wedding was amazing. There were so many snapshots of each occasion. We were in love with the photos! Her attention to detail on the day of our wedding really helped to capture the entire event and will serve as great reminders of the day. She was also very calm on the day of the wedding and followed the timeline we had worked to outline. We would highly recommend her for your big day! Her photos look absolutely gorgeous and fit so well with a romantic wedding look!

ble to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. The link sharing made it super easy to share our wedding pictures with family and we can’t wait to have our prints come in

e liked, but who also had experience with our venue (BVI) to ensure a seamless day. Katrina delivered! Neither of us had experience with professional photos, and Katrina helped us feel comfortable every step of the way. She also was great at keeping us on schedule throughout our wedding day. One of my bridesmaids was so impressed with her work day of the wedding that she is planning to hire her for her own wedding as well. We highly recommend Katrina!

is the light and airy feel I was looking for. Although she does not use film photography, there is certainly a film hue to her photos. We were very impressed with her organization leading up to, day of, and post - wedding. Our photos were delivered in a timely fashion and we could not have been happier to share with our friends and family.

res came out better than we had ever dreamed. As a couple who had never had professional photos taken, Katrina made us feel comfortable from our first conversation through the end of our wedding night, with every interaction easy and fun! Katrina’s wedding day timeline helped us feel stress-free and she walked us through every step of the day. She took the time to know us as a couple and understand what we wanted, and she knocked it out of the park. We couldn’t recommend Katrina for your wedding enough!

. We set up a phone call with Katrina and she was so easy to talk to. She explained her process to us and was able to clearly answer our questions and concerns. We decided to choose Katrina for our wedding photographer not only for her style of photography, but also because we felt she understood what we wanted to capture on our wedding day. Although there were some things we would change and ask for specifically, overall, we were pleased with how the photos turned out. We love how Katrina uses natural light to create light, airy, and romantic photos. She was also great at giving direction to us a couple, and a large group. No one in the bridal party was used to posing for photos professionally and Katrina made it easy and fun. The photos we got back made everyone look beautiful and effortless.

ent with timing and very professional! My husband and I discussed after our event that we made a wonderful choice choosing Katrina. Everything exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We had a great experience ! Her work is incredible and she is friendly, timely and creative with her work ,she was attentive but not intrusive at the wedding and reception. Our guests commented how professional and discreet she was in taking the pictures. She was thorough, prompt, very friendly and easy to work with. Quick responses to texts and or emails. She's great! We will definitely hire her again for our next event. Thank you! Best decision ever !

g, making the picture process easy, smooth and fun! Her eye for the most perfect shot is obvious, but when we got our photos back, I was absolutely blown away. They were all amazing, I can’t even pick a favorite because I love them all! She really has an amazing style. Highly recommend Katrina :)

out absolutely beautiful and are timeless and classic, just like we wanted! She has an amazing eye for all the wedding details, and she made our wedding day go smoothly with making sure to get all the photos we wanted without missing a single moment of the day! I can’t recommend her enough for your wedding day!

oon as I saw her website and Instagram I knew I needed to look no further! We first talked over the phone, where Katrina listened to what our vision was, while also offering suggestions. I knew after that first conversation that I wanted Katrina to be our wedding photographer. When looking at her photos ,the lighting and varying shots truly impressed me. Her professionalism shown through during our engagement session and all the months leading up to our wedding! On the wedding day she was wonderful and helped us along the way. She stuck right to the schedule and we were able to get all of our formal portraits done before the ceremony. When looking at the photos I was blown away! The amount of photos and the quality will allow us to look back on our wedding day and remember every moment. I can't thank Katrina enough for the perfection delivered on our wedding day.

llery of stunning photos that capture a place in time to be cherished forever. Each time I work with her, I am blown away by her talent and eye for timeless images that we are be able to treasure for the rest of our lives and share with generations to come. She tells a story with her photos and you can feel her passion when working with her. She cares about each detail, which is valuable because as a client I am 100% confident that our photos will be thoughtful and breathtaking. Even if I am having a day where I feel shy in front of the camera or worried about what I will look like in a photo, Katrina creates a warm environment where being yourself is the only thing you need to create magic with her. Communication with Katrina is easy when it comes to scheduling a session and she is always accessible to answer questions I may have. She is a diamond in the ruff in the photography industry and I highly recommend her to my family and friends. If you are looking to be THRILLED with your photo session and overall experience, you have found the right person. I feel beyond lucky to have found her and we continue to work with her for different events in our lives, whether it is our wedding shower, baby shower or maternity photos. We can’t wait to work with her again.

brides which could have presented a challenge for some photographers, but instead Katrina took so much thought and care into how our pictures would be set up and posed to make sure we were both able to shine. Our first look was one of my favorite moments from the entire day, and I am so grateful that Katrina captured it in such a beautiful way that we will be able to remember it forever. I cannot recommend Katrina enough!!

na was a preferred vendor at our Venue so it made the decision even easier that she was already at an expert at the grounds/knew the best shots. However, she could have photographed us anywhere & I know the pictures would come out amazing. Katrina was organized and communicative on our wedding day. We were able to get all of our individual & group photos done at several different locations throughout the venue with time to spare. She is easy to work with and truly a professional - I didn't have to worry once about anything when it came to photos. Katrina had educated us on how the day would go and made sure that our thoughts and feelings were heard too. Truly I cannot imagine working with anyone else. Her work speaks for itself in which the photographs are absolutely GORGEOUS. Katrina captured our wedding day & our wedding vision PERFECTLY. I'd stop doing your photographer research now & save yourself the time & hire Katrina.

hotos, including a detailed questionnaire, and incorporated everything we asked for into the photos! Her editing style is very "light and airy" which I loved, and think will be super timeless. She worked with us to determine which package was right for our wedding and kept our photos organized and on time even though we had a large family and bridal party. We got our gallery of photos about 8 weeks after our wedding, and and we loved looking through our pictures. It was like reliving the day all over again. All in all, we are so glad we chose her for our wedding photographer.

t we were looking for! During our engagement photoshoot I was nervous since my now husband is camera shy. Katrina went out of her way to make sure he felt comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I’ve never seen his smile more natural and genuine in photos! The morning of our wedding was far from perfect and I was a bit of an anxious mess. On my way to the venue, Katrina remained on the phone with me making sure I knew that everything would be okay. She was not just our photographer that day. She was our friend! She truly cares for her clients. She is unbelievably talented and puts her all into capturing those special moments. We just recently received the first batch of photos from our December 4th wedding. Upon opening them we melted. She was able to capture every single moment we had hoped she would! I cried. It was like reliving those moments over again and I couldn’t have asked for more from Katrina. She delivered. My mom, who is a photographer herself, was in awe when I showed her our first look photos! Thank you, Katrina for making our day even more special! We will forever cherish these photos and memories! It was a blessing to work with you and we can’t wait to hopefully work with you again in the future!

dresses after water was spilt on them, and she knew exactly where to be at all times. For the posed family photos, she was able to organize our guests that tried to wander off , and at the reception took every photo we could ask for and more. The photos turned out beautifully and we will cherish them for years to come. Katrina is LGBTQ+ friendly!

exactly what I was looking for in a wedding photographer. She also didn't judge me for booking her before I even got engaged. :) Shortly after I emailed to check her availability, she replied back with enthusiasm, questions and scheduled a consultation phone call to discuss my vision for the big day. She even offered a complimentary engagement photo shoot where she made my (now) husband and I feel very relaxed and comfortable. It was a great idea to get familiar with her shooting style and for her to get to know us. I'll always remember her mentioning, "You'll spend more time with me than your husband on your wedding day, so I want to make sure we have a great connection" and boy, was she right! Katrina was extremely professional and personable and kept in touch from the pre-engagement shoot through post-wedding photo delivery. She provided an easy-to-use online portal along with a thorough questionnaire for us to complete. This included "must-have" photos, suggestions to think consider and great timeline for her and her 2nd photographer. Day-of, Katrina was so helpful, ensured our must-haves were taken and was flexible for last minute changes. It was so comforting knowing she had everything handled and allowed us to enjoy a stress-free, special day with our closest family and friends. We were beyond happy with how both the engagement and wedding photos came out. They captured our personalities and days perfectly. She took so many different angles so we had plenty to choose from for printing for ourselves and family gifts. Highly recommend Katrina Bernard Photography for your upcoming wedding!!

hat she was the person we wanted to capture our big day. She was so organized and professional, but she was also genuine and truly felt like a friend. On our wedding day she made us feel so special, and catered to what we wanted. When we received our photos, we were so happy to see how perfectly our day was frozen into beautiful memories that we can look at years to come. We honestly couldn’t believe the photos were from OUR wedding- they looked like they belonged in a magazine, and we were so excited to show them off!

thing perfectly and made sure me and my husband were comfortable the whole time. We got our pictures back a lot sooner then we thought and loved going through everything and seeing what she captured. I would recommend her to everyone and hope to work with her again in the future!

and her team are so sweet and take great consideration of details and timing. Wedding days are hectic, but Katrina kept us on track. I loved our engagement photos and I can't wait to see our wedding photos. She listened to our needs and what we liked and didn't like. We were fighting losing the sun after our wedding. I had told Katrina that I would like as many pictures outside as we could and she did that. I would highly recommend Katrina Bernard Photography.

received all of our photos and she sent the link to us at 4 weeks! She is the sweetest person ever and you will not regret booking with her!

oth with divorced parents. Katrina did a great job putting emotions aside and getting the job done. She is no-nonsense, and can work with the craziest of personalities. I feel like sometimes the hardest part of the big day is keeping everyone who needs to be in the vicinity for photos, and Katrina does a great job planning for that. Her costs are probably a little more than the average photographer in the area (I say that with little knowledge because I didn't even look at any other photographers prices, I knew I wanted Katrina), but her photos are such good quality, she is so professional, and she will do whatever it takes to get the job done, including crouching down in the middle of a busy street while 4 months pregnant to get the perfect shot lol. We love Katrina and we'd HIGHLY recommend her. We loved her second shooter, Kendra, as well!
