Kay made my EXTRAVAGANT, EXTRAORDINARY, FABULOUS, wedding cake from Kat Cakes in Marrero!!!! She put together my exact dream!!! I showed her a picture of several ideas and she made them come to life!!!! I definitely recommend her for any time you need cake!!! These ladies were amazing! Everything was perfect, my cake was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The groom’s cake came out just like he requested. They were easy to stay in touch with and kept everything very organized. I gave them my own cake topper and cake pulls and they included them just like we wanted. I just want to say Wow to everything. Kat was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had no idea what type of cake I wanted but with her help she made the process smooth and easy. We decided on a four tier cake with a petal bottom tier, a plain tier, a gold tier and a monogrammed T on the top tier. The groom's cake was shaped as the football team the Philadelphia Eagles logo. The cakes were beautiful and tasted wonderful. You could also tell that they were fresh because they were soft. Which means a lot to me since my wedding was 2 days after Thanksgiving Day. Thanks again for everything.

The cakes were absolutely Beautiful and delicious. Kat was notified less than 24 hours prior to Wedding , that wedding needed to be moved up 6.50 hours. She did what needed to be done and made the most incredible cakes "ever". I would recommend this Bakery to anyone who is planning their Wedding. Thanks

Kat did an AMAZING job on our cakes! She did the wedding cake exactly how I was imaging and the chocolate groom cake was perfect. She added one tier Gluten Free cake to accommodate my needs, and that was delicious as well. Both cakes were delicious and devoured! She delivered on time and communicates extremely quick: easy to work with. We highly recommend using Kat for your wedding!

I am so glad I found Kat to make my cake for my wedding at CGT Plantation on 9/23/17. I had been to a few other bakeries before I went to Kat’s and I knew she was the winner when I left. Kat is so sweet and actually cares about her customers. After meeting with kat I felt that she really cared about making my perfect wedding cake. She was very easy to deal with through out the process and coordinated with my venue and flower shop so that I did not have to worry about anything. Everyone LOVED the cake! AWESOME taste and decorations for our grooms cake!!! Kat took our order, understood what we wanted and DELIVERED BIG!!! We had a race car and race boat on the cake. If you know racers, they appreciate the details of nice looking cars and paint jobs and everyone of the racers (and others) at our wedding ABSOLUTELY loved the work on the replications and the flavor of the chocolate cake! We couldn't be happier. Reasonably priced. Too!

We had an opportunity to have almond, red velvet, and chocolate cake between our tiered wedding cake and groom's cake, and they were all so delicious. We were married on July 1, 2017 and had Kat do our wedding cake. It was absolutely amazing. The design was even better than I had imagined, and everyone was chomping at the bit to taste it. I planned our vow renewal from another state. I wasn't able to go by bakery and meet with her. Everything was done over the phone and internet. I sent her two pictures of cakes I wanted combined. She did exactly what I imagined and the cake was delicious! I couldn't have been happier!

I got married on Sept. 10, 2016! My husband and I went to a bunch of different cake testings, but Kat's cake was definitely the best! Kat was so personable and friendly, we loved working with her! She made me feel confident that my cake was going to be as beautiful as I had hoped, and it was. Her prices are great, and her staff is super friendly! My husband and I went to Kat's Cakes after we was told a ridiculous price by our venue for a cake through whom they go through. Kat saved the day when she told us she can deliver to our venue! We always heard of her cakes through word of mouth and we couldn't be happier that we chose her for our big day! My husband and I didn't get any of the grooms cakes, because our guest was lined up waiting on it as the cake was being cut.Thank you Kat for making ourr big day special. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience with Kat's Cakes. I'm lactose intolerant, and my wife and I were having so much trouble finding anywhere that would make a lactose free cake. Kat's took on the challenge and created the perfect cake for our wedding. It was delicious! Additionally, their costumer service is beyond compare. We had a wonderful time at our tasting, and very much enjoyed chatting with the staff who are friendly, warm, and happy to accommodate whatever you may need. I cannot recommend Kat's highly enough.

Kat's Cakes was amazing from the customer service to the cake itself!!! I was looking for a bakery to do my Wedding cake and Grooms cake for our Wedding March 28, 2015, we got several recommendations, but when I went into Kat's and met with her I knew she was the one I wanted to do our cakes. I brought her picture of what we wanted for both of our cakes and she exceeded our expectations not only with presentation, but the taste was outstanding!!!! It was so fresh. We also purchased chocolate covered pretzels (in our color scheme), cupcakes, and Petit fours. Every one of our guest could not stop talking about how great the cakes were, even the men!!!! Everything was perfect!!! I would highly recommend Kat's Cakes.

First the cake was decorated exactly how i wanted it. Just beautiful. The flavor...... Omg! The cake was delicious. The vendor was easy to work with as i coordinated every thing out of state.

Thanks to Kat's Cakes my wedding cake was perfect. It was the show stopper and I have gotten so many wonderful compliments on my cake. Both my cake and the grooms cake was original and also delicious!!! What's a beautiful cake that's not good to eat right? Well Kat's Cakes took care of that! I had a beautiful four tier cake with three different flavors which were all delicious!!! Some guests even thought my cake was fake, had a satin sheet cover etc! I am so thankful my wonderful experience with Kat's Cakes! The grooms cake was perfect also!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!

Absolutely amazing!!!! Kay was truly a blessing to my wedding. Due to budget reasons I hired a "home" bakery, well lesson learned on that! After the home bakery saying they couldn't make my cake for the price I signed a contract on and asking for more money I decided I need to go else where. Mind you they told me this a month before my wedding. I asked around for the best bakery and Kat was given the most recommendation. My husband and I went into her store front and was blown away at how friendly, understanding and reasonable Kat was. She always reassured me that everything was going to work out and that I no longer had to stress over the cakes. Kat worked with our budget and delivered two stunning cakes!!!! Huge Thank You to her and her Staff!!! Definitely worth it.

Kat was great to work with from the start. She was the first and only baker we met with, because we loved how friendly she was, and her cakes are delicious! I showed Kat several pictures of what I wanted, and with hardly any guidance she delivered a stunning cake! The cake was textured white with fresh flowers--we left flowers for her to arrange and the result was so beautiful--I was beyond thrilled to arrive at the reception and see the finished product. Could not have asked for anything more--she really exceeded my expectations!

First time a wedding cake was all gone by the end of the reception, and so was the grooms cake. Everyone loved the cakes that we didn't even get to try the grooms cake because it went so fast. The decorations on the cake was exactly what we wanted and came out perfect.

My neice got my bridal cake from Kat's Cakes back in April. I absolutely loved my 2 tier cake!! Kat got my colors to the tee from the color swatches that my neice gave her. I loved how she made the inside look just like outside of the cake! You can tell that all cakes are made from scratch and it's just as moist a few days later as it was the day of the shower. I will be using Kat's Cakes in the near future!!

Kat's Cakes did an amazing job!!! The price was amazing and our cake was BEAUTIFUL!!!! It also tasted absolutely delicious! We had a three tier cake with three different flavors (red velvet, chocolate, and marble) and my husband and I loved it! We sent a picture we'd found on pinterest and she did a great job creating exactly the cake we wanted!

Kat made our delicious wedding cake in April of 2013! Well over a year ago, when she was "just starting out" making cakes from home! But let me tell you.... That didn't change anything! She was very professional, she worked with us for a great price, made a sample to make sure we liked it & delivered an amazing cake like she promised! Our cake was half almond and half chocolate (symbolizing 2 becoming 1) it was perfect! She even added bride and groom strawberries :) everyone loved it! The only piece left over was the top (that we ate a year later) and it was 5 big tiers!!! I'm pretty positive our guests had seconds and thirds lol I am also a returning customer for birthday cakes & cupcakes! So glad she finally was able to open her own shop! Keep up the great work :)

Kat's Cakes are "THE REAL DEAL". I am so happy to have found Kat. Her prices are very reasonable, and the cakes are delicious. I call Kat and tell her what I want, and she does it. If I need some ideas, she gives them. No matter what I have asked her to make, she has done it and has always exceeded my expectations. I am extremely please with ALL of the cakes Kat has made for me, so pleased that my husband and I wanted Kat to make our wedding cake and groom's cake in February, 2014. I now go to Kat's Cakes for all occasions, and I will not go to anyone else. Reasonable prices, beautiful cakes, and tastes better than any cake I have every had in my life......That is Kat!!

Kat is by far the nicest, most helpful baker I have ever met! She is so very talented at what she does, I very affordable, and personable!!! She answered every single question, I spoke directly with her, and she answered me so fast! I did not see my cake before the wedding, and when I walked in afterwards, the first thought that came to mind was "Oh my, that is the most beautiful cake I've ever seen!" If I could attach a picture I would! Kat makes ALL of her cakes from scratch, does not freeze them, AND makes her own filling! I got so many compliments and questions on my cakes that it was insane! My husband and I just had our one year anniversary and cut into our top tier.. N guess what?!? One year later . still moist and amazing.. Definitely made our money worth it...
