We decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony at the foot of The Tetons. Living in Ohio made the computer my contact for figuring out everything from the ceremony site, to overnight accommodations, to the wedding photographer. I went through a good amount of photographers portfolio's on their individual websites. Katy's pictures spoke to us. We reached out & she was like a warm, kind embrace through the computer. She was truly a professional, she held our hand & walked us through this wedding process every step of the way. We were planning an intimate wedding ceremony with a fun picnic to follow from Ohio when we at the time had never even been to Wyoming let alone the Teton area. We chose one of Katy's elopement packages which included engagement photos. That & the fact that we had no idea where we were going to have anything take place spurred us to visit the Jackson Hole area over a year before our planned wedding date. We were able to meet Katy for the first time & get those taken. When we finished up we were so thrilled with how at ease we were the entire time. When we got our spectacular photos it drove home that we made the right decision with our wedding photographer. Katy was a perfect fit for us. We went back home & got excited as our wedding date got closer & closer. Katy was always just an e-mail away & she was quick to respond to us both. Then COVID hit & our world was sadly turned upside down. Katy was quick to reach out, make sure we were ok, & see what our wedding plans were. Initially we responded quickly saying the wedding was going on as planned, but as we all know too well, because we all lived through it, COVID affected all our lives. We cancelled our wedding & pushed it one year out. Katy was more than agreeable. She was truly wonderful during that difficult time. 6 wks before our wedding date, Katy did as she promised, she sent an e-mail questionnaire. Giving us the opportunity to convey any expectations, visions, or requests for our big day. It really helped us discuss what we were hopeful for photograph wise. The big day finally arrived and Katy was right on time. She was like a steady hand that just lead me through the day. She was my friend and my rock. I truly cannot say enough great things about Katy. She is a professional, but she is so much more than that. At the end of her time with us after the ceremony she let us know her time was winding down and if we wanted anything else it would be a good time to let her know. We got a couple of quick shots and she went on her way. Katy had let us know that we should have our proofs back in 3-4 wks. Much to our pleasure and surprise she had our wedding photos back to us in about 10 days!!! I cannot express how amazing she is. We were able to relive and feel the emotion of our day through those pictures. Katy captured that emotion. She has a special talent and it comes through in her photographs. We are elated with our wedding day photos. They captured exactly what we were going through and feeling at that time. That was truly the most spectacular day with our friends and family. Katy is phenomenal, she was more than a wedding photographer to us. We are happy to have experienced that day with her and to now call her our friend. We were thrilled with our wedding photos! Katy made us feel very comfortable, and the whole process was really fun. Apart from the "official" wedding party shots and traditional family shots, which were fantastic, she also has a great eye for capturing the special little moments throughout the day. Looking through our album actually feels like we're re-living the day. We didn't realize how much we would appreciate this since the big day was such a blur!

Katy Gray was the photographer at our wedding. She had an assistant and a second shooter to capture all of our special moments. She is so kind, professional, calm and soft spoken. Katy is extremely organized, attentive to detail and makes sure she gets all of the shots you asked of her. She is extremely talented when it comes to candidates and you don’t even realize she’s there snapping away. She captured the energy of our wedding through her beautiful photographs and I couldn’t be happier. I wish we gave her more time to take our magic hour pictures but we were having too much fun on the dance floor. But, what we did end up with was magical! Katy also got all of our edited photographs to us in under 4 weeks, which was earlier than promised. She was one of the easiest vendors to work with in Jackson.
