I have been drawn to night weddings since I was a little girl. My fate was sealed on one wedding when I snuck around and found the bride and groom slow dancing under the stars, just them two, and the moonlight... and me. 🤣 They didn't see me, but I will never forget that moment. It was then that I felt that I wanted to capture the love, romance, and magic I saw that night, and I am forever grateful to the more than 175 couples who have chosen me to photograph their wedding day!
Later on, I learned that weddings at night possess a certain type of magic and romance (of course), but not every photographer is equipped for it, so that's where I come in. 😉
Even if you’re planning a daytime wedding, the truth is that almost all weddings run into the night. While you dance the night away, it’s essential to ensure that you have a photographer who is as comfortable using a flash as they were photographing in natural sunlight.
My brides and grooms are kind people who love to laugh and enjoy the moment. My couples love their families and their pets just as if they were family too (heck yes!). Oh, and of course, couples who are completely in love with each other 😉

I knew from the moment I met Katy that she was going to be our photographer. She was professional and personal, she asked questions that would help her get to know us better and to better capture the special moment son our wedding day. She and her crew focused on details and all the main event items the day of the wedding and beforehand in our initial meeting. They had so much patience dealing with varying personalities the day of the wedding, some of which were not ideal towards her and her team. They understood that families can be difficult. They did not sweat anything, they captured all the special moments and provided an excellent service. Also, Katy and her team were so kind and pleasant to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who values quality photography.

Run don’t walk to Katy Rox I scheduled a consult with her and we clicked. She ended up taking my bridal pictures and graduation pictures in November. So we got to know each other and her style at our venue.
Fast forward to the 23rd of April and she showed up early to shoot details of the ceremony site and reception site. She guided photos during getting ready, showed how to get the dress on and where to stand for the perfect pictures. I wanted my bridesmaids do a first look and she guided that which was so perfect. Another thing she did is have me pose with my flowers when she realized that my bouquet two of the stems were dyed green she didn’t want to get on my dress so she put bandaids on them! What photographer does that? She’s so special. During the ceremony I didn’t even know she was there she was so fast, but I’m excited to see the pictures she got of us. Her team was quick and accommodating for family photos and helped us with the wind in our hair. she even gave tips to my husband on how to dip without hurting himself or me. That was a huge plus. She really took the time to get to know us and our story and it shows in her pictures of us. My husband doesn’t usually like pictures she was able to get us both to relax, laugh and enjoy the moment as opposed to being on schedule. I am so glad we went with her, she gave us so many pictures and special moments we can treasure for many years to come.

Katy took care of our engagement, bridal and wedding photos and I couldn't ask for more! She was really focused on telling OUR story through photos, not just checking off a list of poses. All of our photos were gorgeous - I can't pick a favorite! She was always great with responding to questions and was so much fun to work with!

Katy was such a pleasure to take engagement photos with. As someone who doesn't always feel naturally photogenic, I really wanted help posing and thinking of ideas and she told us exactly what to do to get nice photos & we loved the final product, while also taking into account the things we had asked for about location and style. She was also really nice and made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable.

WHERE DO I BEGIN??? Katy is freaking amazing. I’m trying to figure what I can do for photos just to have a session with her. My wedding photos are AMAZING!!! Literally they are everything I dreamed they would be. Katy knows every angle to make you look like supermodel. She goes above and beyond and is so kind. She has great ideas of different lightening and came up with a number of great photo ops utilizing the venue, as well!! I can’t brag on her enough. She is so transparent every step of the way. Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!

Katy made me feel so comfortable in front on the camara! My husband and I loved Katy the moment we met her at Bastrop Bridal show. She went above and beyond with my bridal shoot and the wedding. We enjoyed her so much that we didn't want her to leave the wedding reception because we had such a great time with her. The guests all loved her as well. We are so in love with our wedding pictures and can't wait to have Katy capture more special moments for us. Katy and her team are nothing short of amazing. She knew exactly what to do and say to make us all feel comfortable and happy. My husband and I don't take many pictures so we were so nervous about how everything would be. When I look at our pictures I want to cry with joy, she did such an amazing job. We can't pick our favorite because there are simply so many amazing shots.

Katy is the best! I couldn't recommend her enough
She was so accommodating to us. Initially we had scheduled to do a bridal portrait shoot the week of the wedding (I was an out of state bride). Unfortunately it rained the entire day :( Katy allowed us to add an extra hour on the wedding night to make up for it! She was so easy to shoot with and made everyone so comfortable. Unfortunately it ended up raining on the wedding day too, but made for the most spectacular photos!!! We got the gallery back and everything is sooo gorgeous. Can't get enough of them!!! Working on our selections for our photo book now and having the hardest time narrowing it down to just 80 photos as they're all so gorgeous

Katy is an amazing photographer and I completely recommend her! She took our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits, and our wedding pictures. I was SO happy with ALL of our pictures. She makes it so fun and really just wants to have a fun time. She brings so much light and color into the pictures and really gets your good side. She was fast and got all the portraits done timely while still making sure we had every picture we wanted. I totally stand behind Katy and you should definitely hire Katy Rox Photography!

Katy has done a wonderful job in all the special moment in our life, when I was pregnant, after I had my son , we baptized him, his birthdays and a lot of memories we share with our family.

I love Katy and Larry!
Both my husband and I are glad we had them as our photographer!
After we met them we knew that we didn’t need to look anywhere else. These guys were in our budget and we got along great with them.
They are professional and personable, have a genuine niceness, and take great photos!

Iam beyond thankful that Katy was our photographer for our wedding. From day one we knew how professional she was, she was ready with a list of questions my husband and I wasnt even ready for. But what we really enjoyed about her services was how comfortable and relaxed we felt during the engagment session, it was like we knew her from years thats how personal she gets. During the wedding she didn't miss any detail she captured every moment, she is truly a professional we couldn't have hired anyone better!.

We were so pleased from the minute we met Katy and Larry! They came so prepared and organized which set us at ease. They mapped out what their positioning would be during the ceremony and were very clear on roles and expectations. I felt they were well priced for the value we received. We took engagement photos, bridal photos, and wedding day photos with them and all turned out absolutely beautiful! I would recommend this couple to anyone in a heartbeat!

Katy is creative, talented and genuine! When you are planning your own wedding, getting that combination is hard to come by. I’m not the most photogenic person, but she managed to capture nothing but beautiful moments. So glad she was able to be part of my big day. Thank you, Katy!!

I’ve never hired a photographer before so I was kind of nervous. But Katy and her husband made everything so easy and fun. I really loved how they got to know me and my husband before anything. What impressed me the most was that Katy had a leg injury days before my wedding, therefore she was walking around with a scooter. But that didn’t stop her from doing her favorite job! I remember that we were going to take pictures in a grassy area where her scooter couldn’t go through so her husband took over. Well by the time we realized it she was already there taking our pictures and taking over! Lol we don’t know how she did it but she’s definitely dedicated to her job! Anyways not only did I have a good time but I got amazing photos! Every time I see my photos I relive my wedding day down to the most little detail and that’s all thanks to Katy and her team! So yes I highly recommend her!

So many good things that I could say about this photographer! For one, she wants to get to know you and your style before the wedding-this is so important because she wants to get the most important parts. Secondly, my photos came out AMAZING for both wedding and engagement photos. They have gone above and beyond for our pictures (such as staying later than expected during our wedding day to capture the father-daughter and mother-son dances). I love, love, love Katy and her husband for the passion they have to capturing special moments.

Katy and her husband are a great duo! Her company Honest Hue was perfect for everything we needed. She worked with my schedule, offered tons of ideas, tried out ideas we had, and of course her price was perfect! I looked at over 10 photographers and their prices were outrageous. I could have paid 2k with another photographer just for the wedding but with that money Katy offered bridal, engagement, and wedding day photography. These memories will last a lifetime and the quality of service Honest Hue provides made everything enjoyable. I knew she would produce amazing photos. I will definitely be coming back them for future photography sessions.

Katy and Larry were absolutely amazing!! We ran across their website and boy oh boy did we luck out. She was always available for any questions and sent a questionerre prior to the wedding to get all the details down before the big day. Our engagement photos were one of a kind. All of the shots were so us and it was all with the help of Katy! Our wedding day went so smoothly with the awesome help with Katy. She made sure we got all the shots we needed right after our ceremony. I would recommend anyone and everyone to use honest hue as their photographer for weddings and special events!!!!

Where's the 10th star?? 5 stars isn't enough!! Katy was born to be a wedding photographer. My heart instantly fell in love with her personality.

Katy was fantastic! Met her through an ad and she took our engagement photos.... then she did maternity photos for me for our second child. Eventually she did our wedding photos and I still get compliments when people see them. Katy has a way of making you feel like a million bucks! She will forever be "our" photographer.

Katy is an INCREDIBLE photographer! She took engagement photos of us that looked like they belonged in Vogue, and our wedding photos were of equal caliber, despite the not-so-beautiful setting our wedding was in. (She made a church playground look like a beautiful photoshoot) She did a great job given very little! You are getting so much bang for your buck with her, her photos are incredibly professional and she spends a lot of time getting to know you and getting the setting right. She is very detail oriented and has an amazing eye. You will not regret trusting her with your memories!

Where can we begin on how amazing Honest Hue is? Katy and Larry were easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our ceremony photos really captured the moments we wanted to remember and were framed fantastically. The group photos were done efficiently and 100% in-line with our vision. Our couple’s shots were gorgeous thanks to Katy and Larry’s mix of creativity and keen eye for a good shot. Between my wife’s more traditional bride-preparation photos showcasing her getting ready with family, and my pretty ridiculous goofball photos, Katy and Larry were able to capture all of the important moments with our personalities as signature pieces. Really, you cannot go wrong with these two, as they are accommodating, reasonable, warm, and professional.
We love Honest Hue. Thank you guys so, so much for all your hard work and for having fun with at the reception, too!

My husband and I absolutely love our engagement photos and wedding photos! Katy is super sweet and easy to work with. Our photos are beautiful and we love Katy!! I felt like I needed to add to this...our wedding photos exceeded all expectations we had! The engagement photos set the bar really high for what we were hoping to get and Katy and Larry blew us out of the water! They beautifully captured the most intimate moments from our wedding and we are still in awe of them today!

I was planning not to have wedding photographers at my wedding because my husband and I were on a budget and all Google searches for wedding photographers showed photographers that were overpriced and seemed to be all about business. I realized that I probably needed to have a photographer though because no one in my family could take professional photos and then they would not be in the photos. I went to liked what I read about the Honest Hue so I went to the website. I really liked two thins immediately. One was that Katy’s (owner/photographer) personality really shined. It was not only about packages and pricing but she had a little “about me” section which made me feel like she is a person who cares about what she does and customer satisfaction. The other thing I thought was cute was that Katy and her husband (Larry) photograph as a team. Needless to say, Katy and Larry were the first and only photographers that I emailed and that my husband and I met. I knew I did not want to look any further. At the end of the meeting I decided to go with the Honest Hue. I did not feel pressured in any way. Once I find something I like, I go for it. Katy and Larry were and are very professional but more importantly to me, they have a personality and a real passion for photography. The price they gave us was reasonable and within our budget. They took/edited our engagement and wedding photos and my bridal photos. I am happy with the high level of professionalism and quality of photos. Everything went according to plan. I could not have found better photographers at a reasonable price to capture several of the most important events of my life.Craigslist for assistance. That is when I saw the posting for the Honest Hue. I

Could not have hoped for a kinder, talented and just generally lovely couple to capture our day (Katy, the boss ;) and her husband Larry). We are so chuffed with all of our photos and were absolutely over the moon with how much help and guidance they gave us. Living in the UK was kinda difficult at times when planning for a wedding such a long way away but I needn't of worried, Katy even helped with some much appreciated advice. Don't think twice about booking these lovely peeps, they are awesome!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Katy is. From my first conversation with her to my wedding day, everything was smooth, professional, timely, full of smiles, and most importantly - I received BEAUTIFUL pictures. I did my engagement pictures, bridal portraits, and wedding day with Katy and Larry and every single time I received my pictures quicker than I ever imagined and even more beautiful than I could have ever hoped for. Katy truly knows how to capture emotions thru her photography. I just received my wedding pictures and could NOT have been happier. She captured moments in time that I wasn't even aware happened between my husband and myself. Katy and Larry were always on time, I never had to worry about where they were, which I think is super important and a needless stressor on your wedding day. They were good with family members when taking pictures after the wedding and very good at directing you on how to look amazing in pictures. I can't say enough about Katy and Larry and you NEED to book them for your wedding right now!
