If you’re looking for a florist for your wedding, look no further! Kate is the most incredible person ever and delivered flowers way above my expectations. Flowers were one of the most important things to me, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. We had a small covid ceremony last year, along with our big reception last week, and Kate was amazing for both. She’s very creative and really takes the time to understand the bride’s vision. She has fantastic suggestions and adds a very personal touch to everything. My bouquets were so special and perfect. All of our bouquets and centerpieces lasted another 1-2 weeks at our house after the wedding as well! I can’t recommend Kate and her team enough!

I originally met with Kate about 8 months ago for our fall wedding plans. During our initial meeting, Kate was beyond helpful, guiding my fiancé and I in the right direction, to achieve our vision for a fall ceremony and reception. We were thrilled with the timely delivery of her creative proposals. Due to the pandemic, we aggressively shifted our wedding plans to August, which also resulted in an aesthetic shift with the floral design, gearing towards a summer/beachy look & feel. Thankfully, Kate was available and eager to support our wedding celebrations and with a short two week timeline, the execution and final outcome was jaw dropping. We cannot thank her enough for her professionalism, floral inspirations and how everything complemented our special day. Our guests were very complimentary of the beauty she created, which left a last impression on our venue too. To her future clients, you will NOT be disappointed. We hired Kate for our wedding on May 11th 2019. It’s so hard to comprehend a floral budget when planning a wedding. Kate was reasonable and she fufilled our vision + added her personal touch. Everything was perfect!

We worked with Katie for our June 2019 wedding at Mallard Island Yacht Club. Her work is absolutely stunning and she executed so wonderfully on our vision for the day! We are so happy we went with her and were thrilled with the result. She definitely sources very high quality flowers and her arrangements are absolutely breathtaking. Kate really takes the time to sit down with you and really understand your vision to ensure she gets the look and feel you have in mind.

Honestly, I would give more stars if I could! Katy & Leslie were super helpful during the planning process, and were very patient as my vision continued to evolve over the last year. When the flowers arrived in the wedding suite, I was blown away. The ceremony and reception flowers were perfect as well. Their team worked together with our 'day of coordinator' & caterer to create the most beautiful tablescapes that really brought the room to life.

Kate and Leslie beyond exceeded all my dreams of what my wedding flowers and decor would look like. I was not very good with putting into words exactly what I wanted, but it was like they just knew. The transformation of my venue ballroom and chapel were absolutely incredible and I can’t thank and recommend them enough!

Kate completely got my vision from the minute we sat down together to discuss our wedding. Katydid flowers did a beautiful job for our wedding at Bonnet Island Estate! From the moment I met Kate she saw my vision and it was truly brought to life on my big day! From the ceremony flowers, to the ballroom, to the personal flowers, everything was exactly what I asked for. She even made a special request happen when she found my beer loving husband hops for his boutineers! I remember being so excited when we got that email! True detail! What was also awesome is that Kate knew the venue so well and was able to suggest ideas to me that otherwise I wouldn’t have thought of. Lastly, she was able to help me fit her work into my budget and made suggestions as to where I could cut back if I needed to. Katydid did a wonderful job!

We used Katydid for our wedding May of 2018. I went to the initial meeting relatively unprepared without knowing types of flowers that we wanted and I didn't even have pictures or flowers/looks that I liked. Kate was so patient and by asking a few questions was able to come up with a gorgeous vision. She was able to offer suggestions well beyond just the flowers. She is kind, patient, helpful, supportive, easy to work with, and calming leading up to the wedding. All of the flowers for our wedding were simply stunning, classy, soft and elegant from the bouquets, to church decor, and table centerpieces. Katydid helped us create a beautiful wedding. They were an absolute pleasure to work with us. They really heard our input in terms of what we want for decor, and combined it with their own vision and expertise. The forecast for our wedding was unsure about rain/weather, so they were extremely flexible. It ended up raining on our wedding day, and 9AM day of, they built a beautiful indoor ceremony installation. We could not have been happier with them.

Katy and her team did an incredible job! My husband and I absolutely loved the flowers at our wedding. I told Katy the types of flowers and colors I like and she made it all a reality. Before leaving a review I want to agree with everyone in saying Katydid's flowers are stunning. I had the most beautiful bouquet of all time and my arrangements were equally as pretty. However, as a bride you want to be completely confident when booking your vendors that they have your best interest at heart. When our reception ended and our guests and family were wishing my husband and I goodbye (downstairs, outside) ALL of our flowers were loaded in a van and taken WITHOUT MENTION. After paying a few thousand dollars for floral arrangements, my parents returned home with only my bouquet. Upon reaching out with my concern after returning from my honeymoon and finding out, I was told "we should have told them before the wedding we wanted the flowers." I couldn't disagree more- We paid for each flower with cash. These were our flowers. Therefore, we should have been ASKED while planning what we wanted done with our flowers after the reception ended, before this even became an issue. An honest company would have forewarned us BEFORE the wedding that in 20 minutes time, after guests left the ballroom, all flowers would be taken away. Those who have had wedding before know the hustle and bustle of wishing the bride and groom off. Had they known, my parents would have been prepared to ask for their flowers. Instead they returned to a flowerless ballroom and they held brunch the next day in our home without a single arrangement...except my bouquet. So sad and disheartening.

Kate at Katydid is an artist. She was one of the vendors where I knew I could just give her my general vision and she would make magic while I focused on other areas of planning. The flowers, garland and arrangements were catalog gorgeous. My bouquet was a real stunner. I received so many compliments. Her and the team were easy to work with and were able to work with me on keeping in my budget. It was on the day of the wedding that Kate was one of my saviors. My plan was to have an outdoor ceremony in the beautiful garden of my venue and there would be a flowered garland strung around the gazebo. Unfortunately, it rained on my wedding day and everything had to be moved inside to the ballroom. It’s a great venue but I hadn’t planned any inside ceremony décor so the space looked very much like a backup plan ballroom. However, as a favor to a disappointed bride, Kate was able to take my outdoor garland and whip up an indoor arch structure that morning! It was gorgeous and really made my ceremony pictures pop. Because of her work, a lot of guests assumed the ceremony was always supposed to be inside! I don’t know what I would have done without it, she helped make the day better and I am so thankful. I can’t recommend Katydid enough for your next event!

Katy & her team from Katydid Signature Events & Floral Design did an AMAZING job for our wedding! Katy was so easy to work with and to talk to, she listening to my ideas and somehow understood the exact look I was going for despite my complete lack of floral terminology. She helped me develop an overall feel and look for my wedding with such ease and professionalism. I was completely confident that she would make our wedding look beautiful. She went above and beyond my expectations and truly made our wedding look rustic yet elegant and timeless. From the ceremony and reception to the bouquets and boutonnieres there was so much attention to detail and every flower was stunning, especially the hanging branches from the ceiling that hung above our long barn style bridal party table! It was simply perfect.

I was thrilled with the work Katydid did for my wedding. When I met Kate at her shop, I could see some of the other stuff she was working on and immediately felt confident in her abilities. From there, we communicated mostly through emails. She was flexible with me on price when one item turned out more than I expected and she sent me the names of all the flowers she was using in advance to make sure that I knew exactly what I was getting. I don't have much of an "eye" for this kind of thing so even though I was kept in the loop on what the arrangements would look like, I was STUNNED when they arrived. The bouquets were extremely beautiful and exactly what I had been describing to her. Kate really has a talent to take a few of my words and pictures and be able to understand my vision and make it come to life. The girls could not stop commenting on how spectacular their flowers were. It was just the perfect look... the most beautiful flowers. I have full confidence in recommending Katydid to any bride!!

Katydid is a creative genius! What a talented, passionate, and caring woman. She met with my husband, mother, and mother-in-law several times ensuring that our vision would be met. I can't even begin to describe the amazing work Kate did for our wedding in Spring Lake. I was BLOWN AWAY with how fantastic the room looked when I walked in! My parents were thrilled. She worked with a tight budget and made the room look like it cost 5x what it did. She had a wonderful selection of items she owns for table decor. I can't say enough. I was a little stressed about the decor/flowers and know nothing about floral arrangements and I am SO glad I had her team work their magic :) I think hiring KatyDid was the best decision I made regarding wedding planning. She understood my vision for our wedding during our initial meeting and put together a very detailed, beautifully written proposal that described how she would carry out the flowers at our wedding. One of the first things our guests have mentioned has consistently been the breathtaking centerpieces that Kate and her team created for our wedding; they were unbelievably dramatic, beautiful, and elegant. Beyond those, the bouquets, pew markers, cake decorations, place card table, boutennieres (I could go on and on) all looked spectacular.
