My husband and I used Kaua’i Island Weddings after doing an online search.
We decide to get married in Feb 2025 in mid October so that left us with little time to get everything si...
tuated.
After the online search and a couple of emails with Hans, we knew this was the way we wanted to go.
Hans, helped us with everything. He sent us list of vendors, helped give us ideas for excursions on the island, gave us names of official marriage license representatives, and called us a week before to verify it all.
Hans was great help and truly made our wedding day so stress free.
The photographer, musician, and officiant, all used through Kaua’i Island weddings were AMAZING!
We were so happy with the way everything came out.
We highly recommend!!
In September my husband and I did a vow renewal in Kauai. We used Kauai Island Weddings. Hans is amazing and so thorough - from beginning to end. I had a custom bouquet and matchin...
g haku lei and the turned out beautiful. The girls that Hans uses to do hair and makeup did such a wonderful job and they are so friendly. Originally we were going to have the ceremony at Hanalei Bay, but there was going to be a pretty good chance of rain. One thought we had was maybe switch it to the next day. But again, not sure about the weather. Hans and my husband discussed another option, which was to move the location to Shipwreck Beach, which was on the south part of Kauai. It is a location that doesn't get rain as often as Hanalei Bay. Hans said it is a beautiful location. I looked it up and we decided to proceed with our plans for the day we chose originally.
Wow, what a beautiful day it was! I was happy with the location and it dramatic beauty. Rev. Sabina officiated the ceremony. We thought she was so genuine with how she took care of us and the vows she gave us were just delightful :) We also added a musician. Jay has a lovely voice. He followed us all over during the ceremony and for the photos after, continuing to play his guitar and sing is beautiful songs. We just got our pictures a couple of weeks ago. The photographer Hans uses Robin, is very talented. I am so very happy with the pictures. After all of the research I did prior to choosing Kauai Island Weddings, I am so grateful that we chose to use them for our vow renewal.
Hans at Kauai Island Weddings was an absolute dream to work with, he organised everything for our perfect day and it all ran to plan on the day! Look no further if you want to get ...

rough them for everything. We upgraded our packages for photos, video, flower circle, bouquet, make-up and hair girls come to your resort. This is an A class operation. Dont let the price fool you. I will refer them to any couple getting married in Kauai. They were a life saver and worry-free awesome wedding in the end.
Eloping with the help of Kaua’i Island Weddings was the best decision we could have made!

nising every detail of our ceremony, he was kind enough to offer fantastic general advice about things to do in beautiful Kauai.
Our wedding staff were equally wonderful. Diane (our minister), Johannes (our photographer) and Jay (our musician) created a beautiful, joyful atmosphere on our special day. Even our unedited photographs are stunning - we can’t stop looking at them! And if anyone is considering opting for Hawaiian music during your ceremony, do it. Ours would not have been the same without Jay’s beautiful serenading.
We never expected that our wedding day would be perfect, but it was. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Hans and his team!

e ever encountered and he went above and beyond in everything he coordinated. Our photographer Johannes was amazing - I cannot wait to see the edited photos as the unedited photos were incredible!
Thank you to the whole team for making our day so special and stress-free - turning up at the beach and not having to worry about arranging things (such as flowers, photographer, officiant...) was just wonderful. Highly recommend Kauai Island Weddings!

tual wedding date. The available packages which include location, flowers and leis, photographer time, type of ceremony (Hawaiian or denominational), and any other additions such as hair and make up made it a breeze. Hans was our point of contact throughout this process; he was easy to contact (despite the time difference) and very helpful when discussing options and what other couples had done in the past. Christie, the hair and makeup artist, was sweet and made me feel like a princess. I showed her some pictures of hair and makeup inspiration and she nailed it! Our officiant was warm and welcoming throughout the ceremony as well, she was flexible and incorporated time for our personal vows. The photographer, Johannes, was amazing; we had never done professional photography before and were a little nervous. His instructions about what to expect were clear and we had an amazing time. He even planned time for "trash the dress" photos in the water after sending some inspiration pictures I had found online. The pictures are breathtaking, and we have so many to choose from! Our wedding at Anini beach was unforgettable, thank you for making our special day so much fun!
We just got married with Kauai Island Weddings in June 2022 and it was a dream come true. Hans was great at answering all my questions and called us once we were on island to confi...
rm everything for our special day. Everyone was so kind and professional! The photographer was amazing. I knew our photos would be awesome because of the location but they exceeded my expectations. We got married in Shipwreck Beach and did the cliffs package and took photos up there. It was worth every penny and then some! I honestly cannot say enough good things. We had such a great time. We had a musician (Jay) and he was awesome. It really set the tone for a Hawaiian Beach wedding.
We booked the wedding when Kauai was about to lift pandemic restrictions of hotel bubble. Our wedding date was 2 months since the initial call. Hans was our point of communications...
. I had a red wedding so wanted bouquet and lei accordingly which was arranged for me. The video had our vows, photos are amazing. Hans was always a call away, we even did a zoom meeting before hand to know more about the wedding packages. Highly recommend!
These guys are incredibly unprofessional and correspondence with them is a nightmare. The company's true values came during the COVID-19 pandemic when The Hawaiian Island chain was...
requiring quarantine for 2 weeks and we had to cancel our wedding. We cannot plan another date with them because no one knows when the pandemic will reside. They would not issue a refund at all. They won't answer our emails or get back to us in a timely fashion. Do NOT do business with this place!
Very easy to communicate with. Enjoyed our ceremony on Hanalei Bay very much! Our photographer was great too! Easy to use the website to plan what you want, in a location you deci...

h would get back to me with in 12 hours, if not sooner! I never had to wait for anything from them it seemed like. They put everything together for me, based on my package and other selections we had. All of the people we worked with on the actual day, were absolutely amazing! From the hair and makeup lady that came to my condo to help get me ready, to our amazing photographer! We had so much fun, and such an amazing day, I cant find a photo that I don't like! Everything was easy and so stress free, it was fantastic! Thank you, so so much!

My ceremony was amazing and so beautiful and the pictures are too die for!
Thank you again for making this the best day of my life💕
If your wedding ceremony is important to you, DO NOT hire Kauai Island Weddings.
My husband and I paid to have our wedding ceremony professionally videoed and edited. Kauai Islan...
d Weddings DID NOT deliver. The video is terrible, there is very minimal editing (well, Mike added a corny and outdated intro footage that has nothing to do with the wedding) and THERE IS NO AUDIO.
At minimum they should have captured the audio. Sad to say that our once-in-a-lifetime wedding ceremony has no audio in the video footage and we’ll never hear our exchanging of vows.
Mike was extremely rude in his email and phone response to my concerns about our video. He placed blame on my husband, conveniently leaves my husband off of email communications, yells at me on the phone and even hung up on me.
Mike has since taken down our wedding video from the hosting site and will not issue a refund.

We love our officiant Hans and our photographer yoahnes was amazing! Our pictures turned out beautiful!
Absolutely amazing! They were on top of everything I asked! I absolutely love them and if any of my friends want to get married in Kauai I will refer them right away!

s extremely easy to use. By phone they are very helpful as well. The traditional Hawaiian ceremony is very touching. Definitely go with the ukelele player. Pictures turned out amazing. They sent us 2 DVDs with all the files, so we can decide which ones to print. The coffee table book is awesome! Flowers were incredible (as you would imagine in Hawaii).
My flowers were beautiful, ceremony was great and photos were amazing. They sent almost 1200 pictures on the c.d. for us to print.
He took away any stress, had a great attitude and was very knowledgeable, and made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. He was so accomodating. I can't say enough nice things...
about our experience! Thanks!
