Marisa is an absolute gem and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our wedding had a lot of moving pieces — we brought handmade pottery favors wrapped in suitcases that needed to be carefully unpacked and displayed, plus a tattoo bar, spikeball, mahjong, and countless other personal touches that required thoughtful setup. Marisa took care of every single detail beautifully and made sure the space reflected our vision perfectly. Beyond the setup, she was my behind-the-scenes lifeline all day. She had all of my outfit changes prepped and waiting for me exactly where I needed them so I never had to think about it mid-celebration. She made sure I had food and drinks throughout the day — which sounds small but as a bride you truly forget to take care of yourself, and having someone in your corner doing that for you is invaluable. What sets Marisa apart is how effortlessly she operates. Everything ran smoothly, our guests were happy, and Andrew and I got to be fully present and enjoy every moment. That kind of peace of mind on your wedding day is priceless. If you're in Kauai, book Marisa! She is the real deal!

After years of coordinating weddings for my friends and family I decided to officially launch this business of mine! 2 years later and I couldn't be more thankful for that leap of faith. I have a passion for logistics, handwritten checklists, and executing beautiful events! I'm originally from Las Vegas, the home of extraordinary events and unmatched hospitality. And with both my parents deeply rooted in the hospitality industry, I like to say this is in my blood. We are not Hawaii based and were planning the wedding entirely ourselves, so having someone with boots on the ground in Kauai and knowledge of the area/ venue (Common Ground)/ local businesses changed everything for us. We kept saying it was by far the best money we spent on the entire wedding! She answered every question we had- even things outside of a normal day of coordinator responsibilities- and had ideas and suggestions for everything. She was also a lovely, calm presence on the wedding day. She solved problems and answered questions before we were even aware of what they were. She executed our specific set-up of place cards and ceremony seating and specifics perfectly. We could not have had the beautiful, smooth, joyous day we had without her work!!!

ing is no small task, but having an amazing and kind resource like Marisa made everything a smooth process. We had a few phone calls to discuss our vision, timeline, and details, and Marisa always had great questions ready to help ensure that I was on track with planning, which was always so helpful. In between the phone calls, Marisa always promptly answered my texts and emails, which was truly above and beyond! She had vendor recommendations, helped with the wedding day timeline, and made sure my head was on straight leading up to the wedding day. The week of the wedding, Marisa checked in on us, welcomed us to the island, and even asked if there were any last-minute things she could pick up from town. She was flexible with the start time for our rehearsal dinner, always arrived on time, and was the sweetest person to work with. She even picked up our wedding cake and brought it to the venue on the day of the wedding! Truly ABOVE and BEYOND service.
