We could not have asked for a better photographer ! They not only were on time they took pictures throughout the stages of the reception and managed some wonderful candid shots of friends and family . Even the traditional poses were artistic and mindful of the people and the background. I would highly recommend any of their work it is beautiful , personal and of the best professional quality.

Not only were our photos beautiful, the attention to detail and followup from them was great. The price point is extremely reasonable for their packages, which they are open to switch out line items to personalize them for each couple. Book them!

Such a pleasure to work with Michael and Wendy. They took such great pictures we are so excited to see the rest of them and receiver album. I feel that I received a steal of a deal for the quality that I was receiving in the shots compared to how much I paid. I thought their cost is very comparable and very competitive to other photographers out there. We weren’t interested in having a video so that wasn’t something that we opted to help.

Kay Michael was an awesome choice for our wedding photography! They were so personable, friendly, and accommodating every step of the way! They really listened to what style of photography we wanted! Michael and Wendi used a very photo jour.nalistic style, capturing precious moments that were not posed as well which created a perfect story of our fairytale day! Our pictures could not have turned out more gorgeous! Toni is so helpful in coordinating the schedule for the day and being there to answer any questions we had! They also have great packages that include everything you could want and you can custumize packages that fit your budget! You really get much more than you pay for! My husband and I are so glad we had Kay Michael as our wedding photographer. Like most couples, it was very important to us to have beautiful photos of every moment that we can look back on for years to come; hiring a professional with much experience was crucial, and Michael Kay delivered exactly what we hoped for. Michael, Toni & Wendy are AMAZING !!! From the begging, setting up the appointment to view their work ,to the end of getting our photos back has been a wonderful experience. Our first appointment with Michael- we met at his studio, talked about what we wanted & the amount of time we felt was necessary. Never once did we feel pushed to buy more hours or products. At the wedding- Michael and Wendy showed up early, which to me was great! They were there taking the getting ready photos, the pre-wedding toast photos and the anxiously waiting photos. Both Michael and Wendy were warm, friendly and very caring through out the whole day. My daughter is also a professional photographer, but she was in the wedding. She loved the photos, was very impressed with Kay Michaels professionalism & them not being seen. Michael and Wendy were never in the way of the ceremony or reception, but when you see the pictures, you would think they were standing next to you the whole time. I received several phone calls over the months from Toni, asking how the wedding planning was going, what if anything they could do to help me out. Joking with me a little to relieve the stress of wedding planning. I had a few photos ideas that I wanted for my special day, they were happy to oblige. Some of my family was late for the wedding ,so some group pictures had to be taken again, no problem! Their patience was beyond more then I could of asked for, with 5 kids under 8 years old in the wedding party of twenty. The candid pictures are beautiful as well. Michael and Wendy caught the laughter , and the tears of joy. Looking at my photos, there was so many pictures I did not realize were taken, It was a beautiful surprise to see them. One of the best surprises I had, was weeks after the wedding , after our photos were received was getting a call from Toni, asking if we were happy with our photos, she asked us about the wedding and honeymoon. The experience with Michael, Toni & Wendy was the greatest, stress free piece to our wedding. They will make you feel like your the only one that matters, like your a friend. I will always recommend them, I will defiantly call Kay Michaels for our anniversary photos and family photos.

We booked Kay Michael Photo as a last minute photographer for our civil ceremony. Michael was great to work with - we were able to get a variety of locations even in the -20 degree weather :) Toni was always quick to respond to questions, and had great suggestions when selecting our wedding album.

In a world where wedding photography is a dime a dozen these people are hidden gems! They captured such good shots from our day and were so flexible! We would recommend them again and again!

Most brides dream about their wedding starting at a young age. Thinking about what will make it absoloutely perfect. During planning details can change and what is important may shift. No matter what type of wedding you want, finding a perfect photographer is essential. Kay Michael is perfect because of their flexibility and understanding of what makes a perfect day for the bride and groom. We first had engagement photos which I believe really helped the team to learn who we are and our style is. I dont recommend skipping out on that - it's worth the money for many reasons. Before the wedding day they went over everything to be prepared and prepare the wedding party for easy flow. On the big day it was easy to see we came first and they were ready to make it special. We just got our photos back and my new husband and I got to relive our wedding day, even seeing moments we didn't get to that day. I recommend Michael, Wendy, and Toni because they make the perfect trio to enhance your wedding beyond your dreams!

We had an awesome time with Michael and Wendi during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day! They we very open to hearing what kinds of photo ideas we had and worked to make sure we got in all the shots on our "must have" list. Our March wedding day proved to be a very brisk day, but Michael and Wendi managed to coax us outside three separate times to make use of the beautiful natural light and scenery surrounding our venue. Had a photographer friend attending the wedding say she was impressed by how long they stayed to catch shots of the reception. Toni was also a pleasure to work with; planning our photo lists, handling all of our emails/questions and providing ideas and suggestions for our photo shoots. We greatly enjoyed working with all of them and will highly recommend Kay Michael Photography to other couples!

Kay Michael Photography did an amazing job at our wedding. They were professional, flexible, accommodating, kind, and very fun to work with! The shots from our wedding are incredible- such a great way to look back at all the details and memories from our wedding day.

When selecting a vendor for our wedding video, we knew we wanted something that wasn't going to break the bank but would still record our day. As a result, we selected this vendor knowing they offered a lower cost option and they were easy to work with at first. After we received the video, it captured the day, but the quality (despite selecting the lower end option) wasn't very good and not what we expected. After some time had passed, it was identified that another copy of the video was needed quickly. They were very responsive in meeting this need and worked hard to make a copy, but there was a mix up on ordering sources and more copies than needed were produced and charged for. With the mix up, the customer service we received could have been improved, and we received no partial refund for the extra copy, which we felt was fair. Overall, we may or may not use this vendor again. The cost was low and if you are on a budget, a match. However, ask for some samples to judge the quality for yourself to see if it meets your needs, and be clear in your communication.

We highly recommend Kay Michael Photography. Mike's humor and friendly demeanor kept the bridal party and both our families at ease during the whole photography process, resulting in gorgeous, natural (not awkward) portraits. Mike documented our wedding day so well from start to finish with beautiful photos. When we look at our album, we both get emotional reliving the day again. When you're choosing a wedding photographer, of course you want beautiful portraits to frame, but having visual memories of the little moments during the day is equally important. They will not miss a moment, and you will not be disappointed.

We would highly recommend Kay Michael Photography. What initially caught our attention was the quality of their pictures. The pictures were so colorful, and captured the moment with a realistic look. From setting up our engagement photos to purchasing our wedding album, the staff thought of every detail and were extremely helpful guiding us through the process. The photographers, Michael and Wendy, were friendly and open to our photo ideas, and offered their professional opinion as well. Toni, ran the behind the scenes, and was very patient and so helpful with every detail along the way.

After interviewing five other photographers, we selected Kay Michael Photo & Video. It was a no-brainer. The other photographers were nice and had great reviews, but walking out of our initial interview with Michael my husband and I thought this would be one of the easiest wedding decisions we would make. First of all, they were far more reasonably priced than most other photographers and we got so much more in our package: 2 photographers (which came in handy as we got ready in different locations), the engagement sessions, 3 beautiful and professional wedding albums with the photos we picked (one large for us, 2 small for each set of parents), high rez images, and a photo release. Every time I emailed them, they got back to us immediately. They answered all questions and we always felt entirely in control. Their background is in photojournalism, which means they were very skilled in capturing our whole day in a way that as we look through our pictures, it's as though we can relive it. Also, since there were two photographers, at least one was with us and the bridal party the entire time and the other could capture our guests for moments we would have otherwise missed. Our family and friends were very impressed and several noted that the photographers were everywhere all night! They were capturing every detail. Do not settle for inexperience or a photographer that does not make you feel 100% confident that they are the right fit. These are your wedding photos and can never be replaced if they are not done right. Schedule a meeting with them today. I promise you will be impressed and in very skilled hands!

Kay Michael Photography did our wedding. These people were great! They took a lot of good pictures for us. They had great ideas for pictures. They came out with us around town to do outdoor pictures, too. We had 2 photographers and we couldn't have asked for anything better! Very laid back and willing to work with us and the situation. This was our first time getting married and looking for a photographer. So, we didn't quite know what to expect. They went far above and beyond our expectations! Also, good value for the money.
